AFC North Preview.

AFC North

I Know Supporting Deshaun's Name In Any Way Has Damaging Effects Ever Since The Reports Of His Misconduct Surfaced Over A Year Ago. Some Plaudits Want To Put The Issues Behind And Focus On His Play, He Has The Biggest Of His Career Ahead Of Him. Bigger Than His Return From His ACL Tear In 2018, Bigger Than His Career Best In 2020, The Final Full Year Of Play With The Franchise That Drafted In. the City Houston Now Stained By his Name But Where He Celebrated His Best Season as A Pro. The Final Image Of All The Superior Passing Prowess That Lure The Browns Into Trading Multiple Draft Picks For Watson, Then Handing The Riches Contract By Guaranteed Money To Him Shortly After. Other Plaudits Want To Use The Issues As A Sticking Point Of Watson's Failed Reclamation Project To His Point. He's Not A Quarterback. He's Not A Young Man. He's Not Black. He's That Guy That Did Those Things And Got Way, Allegedly. Watson Has a lot To Answer For This Season. Success On The Field Would Put To Rest Some Of The Gaseous, Vitriolic Comments Against But How Comes Upon That Success Matters. Playing Quarterback At A High Level, Nothing Like Riding A Bike But He's Got To Have Support. For Those Still Harping On Him, John 8:7 "He that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone at her."

Cleveland Browns

I Don't Want To Hear About The Deshaun Watson Misconduct Situation Anymore. We All Know What Happened. No One Can Change The Circumstances, And Everyone Except The Victims Need To Move On Truthfully. Bringing Up The Matter As The Reason For His Two Year Absence Serves No One. The Browns Have Seething Expectations This Year, And Those Expectations Don't All Weigh On Deshaun, But They'll All Spin Back To Him Some Way. If The Defense Doesn't Improve, The Browns Shouldn't Have Paid Deshaun. Run Game Tanks, Or Maybe The Offensive Line Can't Reach The Heights Of Yester-Year, The Browns Paid Deshaun, And Now Everyone Pays The Price.

Nevertheless, Deshaun Watson Almost Self Sustainably Produces All Of The Reason Anyone Talks About The Browns. Nothing Watson Achieved In Houston Seems To Matter, and The Struggling Sample Size Of Last Year Doesn't Bear A Solid Reference To Project From Deshaun Watson Get A Clean Slate For Me This Season. Many Won't Agree, But With The Reset, it is Understood Deshaun Has To Return To Elite Form—What is Contradictory? "I Gotta Go Out There And Prove I Belong In Those Conversations[Of Elite Quarterbacks]." Watson Said, Winning A Playing Elite Football Should Cure Some Many Of The Malaise Surrounding Watson And The Browns. I'm Looking For Watson To Return To Over 4,000 Yards Passing And 30 Touchdowns Minimum... As Far As Projections, Those Numbers Shouldn't Raise Eyebrows. As Nate Tice Of The Athletic said, "If He's [Watsons] Not Top Half Of The League, Nothing Else Matters."

The Browns Loaded Up With More Weapons In The Off-Season With The Acquisition Of Elijah Moore and Cedric Tillman In The Draft. I've Read Great Things About Deshaun's Budding Connection With The Incoming Receiving And The Continued strengthening of His Bond With Other Core Members Of The Offense. The New Comers Tag Along With Number One Threat Amari Cooper, A Criminally Underrated Donavan Peoples-Jones, And Tight End David Njoku. The Brown's Offense Has The Full Range Of Deshaun's Abilities, But Will They Use All Of The Run Game Stuff And Risk The Entire Getting Injured?

Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals Haven't Shaking Their Motif As The Underdog Amongst The AFC's Elite. Joe Burrow And His Cadre Have Challenged The Best In The Bills and Chiefs And Came Out On Top, But The Bengals Remain In Crouch Position, Stalking In The. Shadow Like a Big Cat Waiting For The Playing Field To Settle. These Bengals Don't Carry The Same Markings As The 2021 Model That Made The Super Bowl. These Bengals have More Battle Experience. Last Season, The Bengals Got Off To a Slow Start. Defenses That Faced The Bengals Utilized More Two High Shells, And These Coverages Work Like A Sarcophagus Containing All Of The Bengals Explosive Plays. The Most Explosive Team In Football A Year Ago Held Off Like The Strongest Character Of A Show Held Off By The Plot Writing, But The Bengals Adapt How Good Offenses Filled With Moxie Often Manage. With The Best Receiving Corp In The NFL, The Found New Ground On Offense And The Right The Ship Into Another AFC Title Berth. Still, The Bengals Haven't Received The Same AFC Threat Level As The Jets. I don't think anyone in The Prediction expects them to make another AFC run. Their Names Have A Noticeable Absence In The Media(Which Doesn't Mean Much), Especially Compared To Names Like The Jets and Other Partners In Their Divisions. The Bengals Have Their Claws In The Thick Of The AFC, And they Might Want To Make The Best Of This Run, Considering The Decision They Have Pending. One Of The Necessary Drawbacks Of Having So Many Successful Drafts is that The Bengals Good Players Require High Priced Contracts, and the Bengals' Top Offensive Generators, Joe Burrow, Jamar Chase, And Tee Higgins, All Have Collision Courses With New Contracts. The Bengals Revamped Their Offensive Line This Offseason As well, But The Upgrade Of Orlando Brown Make A Difference For The Bengals's Disaster Of A Protection Unit. The Backend Of The Defense Will Have a New Look As Well, But There Still An Elite Team.

Baltimore Ravens

This Season, The Baltimore Ravens Will Again Come Face To Face With Football Unsurpassed Villian, Health. According To Football Outsiders, The Ravens Finished 24th In AGL(Adjusted Games Lost), A Metric That's Best Explained By Them, But Their Model "estimates the impact of injuries on teams" Wins And Losses. Multiple Core Offensive Players Missed Time None Greater Than Quarterback Lamar Jackson, Who Missed The Final Six Games Of The Season Total And Now Steps Into A New Offensive System Ran By Former Georgia Offensive Todd Monken. Monken Takes Over For Greg Romans And Now Has THE charge Of Revolutionizing The Ravens Passing Game, which Sounds Hard And Might Eventually Prove Fruitless. Revolutions Usually Return To The Point They Started, and With The Same Quarterback With The Same Skillset, The Case Stands He'll Revert To His Natural Disposition Of Run Orientated Football. Lamar Ultimately Determines The Offense. As One of The Highest Quarterbacks In The League, Lamar Will Ultimately Direct The Action on The Field. In The Games, The Ravens Played Lamar Even The Few Wins, The Ravens' Offense Looked Atrocious, An Eye Sore Of Fumbling Football. A Passing Revolution Means Nothing If Equipped With A New Stable Of Wide Receivers And The Boost Of Just That. Odell Beckham Jr. Ended His One Year Hiatus From Football For A Purse Of $15 Million Purse From The Ravens. Beckham Should Add Some Dynamism To The Ravens, But He Won't Help Their AGL Score Given His Injury History. Aside From Beckham, Reports Returning From Camp Have Marked Rookie Wide Receiver Zay Flower As Having A" glowing" Impression On The Ravens Offense, And His Lightning In Bottle Create His Offense Ability A Paramount Fixture Of The Ravens Offense.

Pittsburgh Steelers

How Kenny Pickett Growns In Measurable Ways Will Determine If Mike Tomlin's Streak Of Winning Season Continues And Maybe The Steelers Shake up The North; I Don't Think These Four Teams Compose A Tough, Needy Division. Pickett Put On In the Preseason. I Don't Buy In To Greatly Into Preseason Takes, But The Football Bestowed The Honor Of Preseason MVP Upon Pickett's Arms. Pickett played A Hand Full Of Snaps Between The Three Preseason Against The Bucs, Bills, And Falcons, and With Pittsburgh's offense Completely Under His Command, He Completed 13 of 15 passes for 199 yards and two touchdowns. He Shows A Total Comprehension Of The Offense, Targeting His Spots Freely And Buying What The Offense Opened Up To Him On A Play Basis. Matt Canada, who somehow managed to Hold On to His Job, Gave Pickett A Lot of Short routes to Tackle(Not Like a Linebacker) And his Quarterback A Short Stick Route, which Explained Pickett Completing Almost Everything. Pickett Averaged 6.2 YPA, So Short Completions Fall In Line With His Skill Set. Eventually, These Quick Plays Set Deep Attacks Later, As Displayed When Pickett Threaded The Boundary. That was a Gorgeous Throw From Pickett. If I Had To Pick, He Sailed It, But He Targeted An Ace Deep Ball Target.

Last season, Pickett led all Rookies In Passing Yards, 2404; Last Season Also featured one Of The Weakest Quarterback Classes In Recent Memory. Pickett Started All But Six Games And Even Though He Threw Nine(9) Interceptions To 7 Seven Touchdowns While Completing 63% Of His Passes With A passer Rating Of 76.7(Good Enough). The Steelers Finished 25th in points scored (17.7), but Another With Canada and Gifts To Pickett, One Of The Best Receiving Cores In The Game To Work The Steelers Could Pull Out Some Win. George Pickens And His Boundless Potential Dominating The Sideline, Nobody Ran More Vertical Routes Than Pickens, Who Also Converted 61.9 percent of his targets On His way To Wowing NFL Fans All Season. Diontae Johnson Didn't Have The Strongest Year Adjusting To Pickett. Johnson Finished Fifth In ESPN's Overall Wide Receiver Rankings But Ultimately Failed To Get Over 1000 Yards. The Steelers Also Picked Up Allen Robinson In Free Agency. The Former Ram Hopes To Salvage What's Left Of His Pro Bowl Career. I Don't Know What More The Steelers Hope To Get Out Of Najee HARRIS At This Point In His Career. He's Just A "Decal" Now He's Not Getting Better, And He's Slowed Down Entering His Fourth Season. The Steelers Will Look To Operate Him Out Of The Backfield. The Steelers Defense Look Poised To Make An Impact. TJ Watt Returns To Peak Form And Maybe Plays A Full Football Season. Alex Highsmith, Who Stepped In When Watt Went Absent But Who Everyone Expecting Big Things Off On His Next Opportunities.

A Lot Of People Have High Regard For Rookie Keanu Benton. On The Backend, The Steelers Added Patrick Peterson To Join Minkah Fitzpatrick In Locking Down The Secondary. The Steelers Finished Near The Bottom Half On Defense, Including Passing Yards(222.3), 19th But Top Tenth In Points Allowed Per Game(20.4), First In Interceptions Forced, And Sixth In Lowest Completion Percentage. The Steelers Need A Complete Team or enough Fire Power To Compete With The Rest Of The Juggernauts In The AFC North. Mike Tomlinson To Could Prove Good and Maybe Challenge For A Lot Of Wins In The North, But I Expect The Bengals, Ravens, And Even The Browns To Come Out More Times Than Not. Season Prediction: The Steelers Record Their First Losing Season Under Mike Tomlin, 5-12.
