NFL Mid Way Power Rankings. 18-32.

he Screen flashed And buzzed, Seemingly. With The Alertness Of A Lightning Strike And Then  A sudden Shudder. A Gasp, Followed by A  Break In Action. Followed By A Climatic thud. Then The Game Was Practically Over. Tom Brady And all His Mythical Might It stunted And So Too Sis The Bucs Comeback Bid Against The Saints. A Late 4th Quarter Interception That The word  “Uncharacteristic” can Only Begin To Elucidate. Resulting To A Pick-six And A Loud Blow. Brady’s Rapport With His Number 1 Wide Receiver Mike Evans, Is Not There. This Adds Another Wrinkle To be Smoothen Out. The Road To Repeat, Appear Clearer Than It was Two Months Ago, But Now Obstacles and New terrain Make For A Added Obstacle Along the Course.

The First Quarter NFL Season, when The Bright Untainted Lights  Adorn Our Summer Muses, The Teams, With A “Virgin’s Glow.” Teams Charge Forth, out Of The Offseason. Complete With health And Vitality,  Rumbling Through The Tunnels unto The Field Into Our Living rooms Or In front of Fans In Stands, Claiming The Field’s Home Once Again —The Only  Time I’m Overwhelm With Envy—And Into The Heart And then Unto Our Note Pads, Forever The Objects Of Our Affections. (So Dreamy). This Is The Part Where I Write Sonnet About It All, instead I'll Defer To These Stats And Play-By-Play Background That Read With Ease And Study Of Shakespearean Portentousness.

In The Beginning Team’s Are Channeling The Scribes And Inner Spirit Of Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter, “Allow Me To reintroduced Myself, My Name Is….” The second Quarter Is When They Come Out Channeling Their Inner Aubrey “Drake” Graham, “I Stop Asking Myself and Started Feeling themselves” Unless Your Outside Of The Top 10, The It's Back To Jigga “it’s a Hard Knock Life for Us’.

The Past 4 weeks Has to Unearth some Truths. Who Is Playing Their Best Now? Who’s Gauging to Play Their Best come, Winter. And Those Treading on Thin Ice. The Raiders Lose ground In the AFC, Then Lose Their Head Coach. “I Didn’t Have To cut the Tie; It Severed Itself.” Week Seven Closed. The AFC Power Brokers Were “Playing Musical Chairs with These Squares.” I Can Hear The Chimes Of NFL Pundit Crying “come Back Baby” As The Watch The Chiefs Descent Into Madness. If Only To Forgo Having To BackTrack, every Time We Proclaim The Bills, Ravens Or Titans The Best In The AFC That The Formality Of A Dominant chiefs Made Formulaic Work Of The Constants Shuffling.

Come Week Eight, It was All DMX, “Y’all Gone Make Me Lose My Mind.”

The Cardinal Took Home Their First Lost In A Bizarre Fashion With There Now Being No Unbeaten Teams. Two HOT NFC teams, But Neither Appear Dominant. A Toppled Bucs, That Is For The Most Right Where They Were Last.  The AFC Needs New Management Its All NFC Holding The keys And Driving The Playoff Push.

Enjoy!

18.  Carolina Panthers. 4-4

“Let’s Play The Blame Game.” The Carolina Panthers Haven’t Been Able to Pull It Together Since Week 4. The Team Can’t Find A Direction On The Questions Of, Who To Turn To For Direction? When To Turn To Them? And How Is This All Going to Play Out? The Panthers Had Been Leaning Strongly On The Arm Of Sam Darnold. And Justifiably, His Early Season Success warranted More Play Calls, But Darnold Hasn’t eclipse 300 Yards Since Week 4. Even 200 Is Challenge for The embattled Quarterback. He was Bench Week 7. Now Trade And Injury Woes Hover Over The Former top Ten Pick Now Facing Another Franchise Write Off. This Season Has Gone Much The Way Of Darold’s Career. Darnold hasn’t Been good, But The Team Isn’t An Excuse For 1-3 Result Over the Past 4 Games. The receiving core Is Just As Culpable. Between DJ Moore, Robby Anderson, who are Leading the Team In Both targets and Yard But Also Drops And Interceptions are Thrown In each Players' Direction. Partly Because Darnold Is Careless with Location On Downfield, As Told By His 12 Turnover worthy Plays That Have Resulted In His * Interception but His Receivers Don’t Or aren’t capable of Winning One On One Contested Catches. Between Anderson And Moore, The Duo Has Converted 7 of Their Shared 20 Contested targets Downfield. The Panther Are Preparing for the Return of All-pro Running Back Christian McCaffery. A Running Game That Has By No Mean eased The Burden, only 40 rushes for 174 yards the previous two games combined According To ESPN, Came To Life Some On Sunday, Some What. Rookie Chubba Hubbard’s Finished The win Over The Falcons With 82 yards on 24 carries. The Defense Is Still “Bonkers.” The Unit Is fifth in the League, with All-pro Corner Stephon Gilmore Soon to Make His Debut Off The PUP list. Unfortunately, The Panther Has the toughest Schedule remaining, According to ProfootballFocus.

18)Minnesota Vikings. 3-4

It's Difficult, comprehending Why or How One Of The League’s Most Prolific Offenses--at least As Far As talent Is Concerned, Can’t Seem To Cut the Seams And Out Together A Complete Performance. With The Season entering Second Act, its Safe To Say the Vikes Are About To Make For The Exit, After Another Troubling Week 8 Performance. It’s One Thing to be Offensively Incapable, That’s Why There Are Teams Like The Lions And Texans, But To be Offensively Inefficient Is Inexcusable. The Vikings Have Failed To Build Up The Steam Despite Being Alert And Within Striking Range Of A Win That Could Tilt This Team Onto More Favorable Ground. The Team Proficiency Limitation Caps Their Talent Preventing  The  “Pull It All Together” Moment  And Sustaining Quality Play Through Drive to Drive. Another Dismal outing Against Dallas, 1/13 on 3rd Down. It's Not That The Roster Isn’t Capable. We Have Seen what These Guys Can Do At their Best Versus The Panthers. The Play Calling Is just Insipid, Or Perhaps Faulted To Former MVP Considerate Kirk Cousins,  Who Is One Of The Least Aggressive Taken Shots Down The felid In The League. In Vikings Four (4) Losses, Cousin’s Shoulder’s Much Of The Scrutiny For The Team’s Ineffectiveness With Moving the Ball Downfield. Stats And Video Reveal Proclivity For Checkdown And Route Into The flats, Exemplified By His 6.4 Yards Per Attempt, His Adjust Depth Of target Was 5.4 Yards on Sunday and The 7.0 Yards This Season In The Worse of His Career.  Compared to The Vikings, Three (3) Wins When Cousins Is A 8.1 Yards Per Throw, And If We Disregard His Struggles Against Seattle, His ADOT Has Been At Least 8.1 Per win. Being “conservative” Is Not A  Inditement Of Cousins. He Ranks Right Above Brady In regards Of Aggressiveness.  But The Bucs Convert Third Downs With The 3rd Greatest efficiency In The League. The Vikings Are 24th. The Bucs Usually Come Out Shooting, With The Highest First Down Passing Average; the Vikings Rank Middle Of The Pack on first Down Passing Action. The running Game Is Average. When The Secondary Is Being Plain Bad, It's Outright Unlucky. No To Mention  We Have Began to Dig into The Offensive Line Which Gave Up 16 Pressures And Been Mostly average Run Blocking.

19.  Atlanta Falcons. 3-4

The Falcons Are Still being Unreasonable Competitive. No Matter, Their Still ten games remain to take a Broader View Prospect, But There Is Still a Long road To the Bottom. On The Plus Side, Kyle Pitts Is Emerging as A Number 1 Target for The Falcons Moving Forward. He Is Not the Transformative Tight End Prospect I Had Fist Thought ‘Scouting’ At Florida. But As Far As move Tight Ends Are Concerned, He’ll Be One of The Best for 10 + a Real Jared Cook Type. On The Opposite End of The Spectrum, Last year First Round Pick AJ Terrell, Is Also surfacing As a Lockdown Corner. Terrell Has given Up 11 receptions on Just 23 Targets through Eight Games and ranks 7th Of 150 Cornerback According To Profootballfocus.com. For Comparison, Defensive Player of the Year Candidate Trevon Diggs, Targeted 49 And Surrender 26 reception, 500 yards At 18.5 Per Reception. The Falcons Have Some Solid Young Talent—no Need to Disrupt This Excellent Run On First With any less Than Another top Ten Selection.

The Bottom Hasn’t Bottomed Out. Here Rests a Pack of 3-win Team Who Could Wrangle A Favorable Run And Find Their Place Back Amongst The field.

20.  Seattle Seahawks. 3-5

21.  San Francisco 49ers. 3-4

22.  Chicago Bears. 3-5

23.  Philadelphia Eagles. 3-5

24.  Indianapolis Colts. 3-5

25.  New York Giants. 2-5

26.  New York Jets. 2-5

27.  Miami Dolphins. 1-7

28.  Jacksonville Jaguars. 1-6

29.  Washington Football Team. 2-6

The Washington football team was Young, Unproven, And expected. They won The NFC East Last Season On the Strength of Dak Prescott Injury. Has Muster No Such Ill Fortune Advantage Since. WFT  Came Into This Season expected To Lean Heavily On The enviable And Prized \ Talent of Their Front Seven. The Unit Is The Only Aspect Of the Team Offering  Solid Return  This season, Still Pushing  The Second Highest Pressure rate On the Year, But front Sevens Does Not  Score touchdowns. Washington Has The Worse Passing Offense In The League, According To Pro Football Focus. Taylor Heinicke can Be Magical At Times. He’s A Capable Runner, and Despite some Ball Secure Woes(4 fumbles), He has Amassed 232 Yards On the Ground. 30.  Houston Texans. 1-7

“The Plan was, To Drink Until the Pain Over...” If You Believe The reports

The Texans Have Intentions. Albeit misguided, there is Something To Applaud For A team still Daring to Be Something Despite The Current Inauspicious State Of Affairs. Deshaun Watson’s Name Has Emerge Out Of The Deep Much to The Shagreen Of Some. Now, what To Make Of His Inevitable Departure Of The Only Team He Has Known. Tradeline Passed, But Watson Status Remains Unclear.

31.  Detroit Lions. 0-8

“Who Do I Call after we Have Done All We have Done who Is Your replacement.”

The Lions Employ A New Coaching staff. A Mostly New Compendium OF Receivers. An Unexplored Collection Of Offensive Lineman, And A Perhaps Veiled,  But perhaps Paramount, A New quarterback. The Former Faces Of Franchise Faced Off. Matthew Stafford And Jared Goff were Only A Few Weeks Back. The Lion’s Put Forth Their Best Effort Certify Being Apart Of the seen And Not Just A Moment of Mentions In the Ram’s  Season Credits... The Face-off Sequel We Requested Back when Nicholas Cage And John Travolta first Put The Script In Motion. In case Detroit Missed It, Stafford And Goff Trade places and not Faces. Tell Me How Many Times This Season Have You Read a line On Lions, That Is if You Bother to read Refrains On The Lions, That retorts Something Like this. Goff’s Stat, With The Pretext Of Productive Language; The Lion’s New Starter passed for 268 yards. His Team, the Lions Sometimes Leading Or Still within striking distance, down 25-19, Late Into the 4th.

Then tumbling, “heartbreakingly,” short.  Goff Throws an Interception Near The Line Of Scrimmage, Capping Off An Impressive Drive With A Deflating Whimper.   Detroit is Still Running A Heavy Pass Offense tailored to feature Someone with The Caliber Of Stafford Ability.  Jared Goff Is Third In the League In passing Attempts of 308 And 8th in Yards nearing 2000(1995 yards). It is statically A Strong season. But He Is Only Justified running The Lion Offense By Results Of 8 Touchdowns And 6 Interceptions. The Other Two Quarterbacks Ahead Of Goff in Passing Attempts, Brady and Mahomes, two former NFL MVPs, Who Need No First Name  Introductions, Have Attained 25 And 19 Touchdowns, respectively. The Lions Are 24th In Passing Offense, And Find themselves “stuck” -ish, evaluating Whether Or Not There is, IF Any, Gold Is Left Of The Former Golden Bear. Not To Mention as of Sunday, the 0-8 Lions Have Yielded Mostly Head Scratching Results. It is Great to See My Georgia Guy Deandre Swift Getting More Love. “He’s dynamic…his power in space I just think is sneaky.”. Swift Leads the Team in runs of ten or More yards, Second in Yards, And Yards After, And Leading the Team Is Targets Out of The Back Field. Goff Is rated 118.8Screenenn Play, his best Result Amongst All Concepts. The Lions are 25th In rushing And Second Year Back Swift Production the Rest of the Season could Be A Benefit Of A team Fighting flee History.
