NFC West

The TreY Lance Trade Serves as The Biggest News Coming Out Of The West Going Into The Season. Reality Brought The San Fransisco 49ers To The Crossroads With Their Wayward Project Of A Quarterback. Something About The Split Feels So "Soap Opera" Like. Everyone On The Inside And Outside Wanted This Brief talent of High Potential And Structure To work; The Two Forces Appeared destined for Each Other. The 49ers Became Enraptured With Trey Lance, Which Lead To Them Ignoring The Fact He Could Not Play The Position At The "Speed" Necessary To Have An Impact On The Game. Elsewhere In The West, Where the Sun Seems On The Verge Of Setting, Arizona, Where The Kyler Murray Era Looks Headed For A Close.

San Fransisco 49ers

The 49ers Trading Up To Dray Trey Lance May Go Down As One Of The Worse Trade In Recent Memory, And Thats Especially Dubious Considering All Of The Blunders And Plunderous Trades Teams Have Made Over The Past Decade. When The Niners moved Up In 2021, Every Expected Quarterbacks And A Toss Up between Lance and Mac Jones Ensued. Of Course, Now We Know Lance Won Over Shanahan, And The Combination Of One Of The Best Offensive Play Caller and The Electric Talent Of Lance Would Take The League By Storm. Lance Inherited The Keys To the Illustrious Shanahan Offense Last Season, Then Suffered A Catastrophic Ankle That Derailed Any Unveiling Of His Dynamic Skill Set. Since Lance Has Struggled To Impress Anyone, Remotely Anyone To His Aide So Far This Off-season. Head Coach Mike Shanahan Has Already Bestow The Number One Quarterback Position To Brock Purdy, Former Mr. Irrelevant, Possibly One Complete UCL Away From Remaining Undefeated In Games He Started, a Serendipitous Turn Of Events For The Sunken Cost Of The Lance Deal. Purdy Showed You Don't Always Need The High Profile To Win Games. The Niners Put The Hopes Of The Team In Lance's Hand In 2022. Now His Hope Fade Entering A Year When The Niners Have A Big Decision On His Contract. The Niners Have The League's Notice; Kyle Shanahan won't Have The Mystery Card To Play A What's Behind The Door Model This Year. Lance, Still Only 23, Has Time To Mold Into Something Greater. I've Witnessed A Story Of A Young Quarterback Written Off Only To Return To a Starter Spot Years Later.

Seattle Seahawks

Geno Smith May Never "Write Back" To Those Who Wrote Him Off, But He'll Need To Write Himself A Sequel to Worthy's Inspirational Revitalization Story From Last Season. The World Awaits. Sequels Present A Tough Challenge: No One Can Prop Up The Same Remake And Remixes and Expect Success, Or Maybe They Can. Geno's Ready To Prove He's Here To Stay, and Those Expecting The Predictable May Need To Hold On To Their Seats For Best Sequel Yet. Seattle Team And Offense Improved Tremendously In Off-season Following Back To Back Stellar Draft. Expect Jumps From Last Year's First Road Pick Tackle, Charles Cross, Who Protects Geno's Blind Side, and This Year's Pick Pass Catcher, Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Arizona Cardinals

For The Sake Of Either Comedy Or Valor, The Cardinals Insist On Vesting Their Interest In Fielding A "Competitive" Team This Season. Competitive, Of Course, Meaning They'll For The Sake Of Heart. Just Two Years Ago, The Air Raid Offense Sacked The League, Looking To Reign Over The NFC For Another Five Years. The Last Things Fell Apart. The Cardinals Struggled To Stay Competitive. Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury Battled With His Quarterback, The Offense Averaged The Fewest Points Per Drive Last Season. New Head Jonathan Gannon Takes Over A Team On The Down Swing. "Don't Get It Twisted. We're Going To Win Games," Gannon said. If You're A Friend, Check In On The Cardinals This Season. An Offense Overwritten Pantry Skipped Over By Evolution They're Mostly All 5'9 Or Below(Yes, Below). The Cardinals Have Acquaintances With Their 5'10 Will Miss Most If Not All Of Next Season With An ACL Injury. Some Projections Favor October, a Favorable Prognosis Even Given The Success of Other ACL Injuries. Lions Receiver Jameson Williams, Who Suffered The Same Around The Same As Murray(Jan.11,2022 Williams, Jan.3rd,2023 Only The Year Prior Returned To Full-Time Football Last November. The Two Play Different Positions, So Kyler Could Theoretically Force Himself Further Up The Schedule.

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams Super Bowl Win Of A Year Ago Feels Like A Decade Ago, And Now, In The Aftermath Of The Roughest Super Bowl Hang Over In Recent Memory, We Get A Sense Of Why Winning Once Doesn't Feel Like Winning At All. Who Remembers THE young When The Acquisition Of Bobby Wagner And Allen Robinson Meant The Rams Had Enough Juice To Contend Once More? For Those Of Us In 2023, A Moment Of Silence, Please. To The Rams Credit The Suffered Through The Most Injuries In The League. The Team Started 14 Different Offensive Lineman Who Feinted Blocks For Three Different Starting Quarterback. The Rams Built Their Super Bowl Dreams On An "All In" Mantra And Hoped They'd Live Their Championship Defense In Some Groundhog Day Theme Dream, But Then Tomorrow Came. The Rams Will Have All Hands On Deck(Except Jalen Ramsey, Bobby Wagner, And All The Cap Casualties Of Immediate Demand) For Day One And Maybe Beyond. The Rams Smash The Reset Button As Hard As Possible. The Situation Became So Untenable That Sean McVay, Still One Of The Youngest Head Coaches In League History, Flirted With Retirement. A Healthy Rams Team Got Beat Down By The Bills Week One. The Rams Finished With One Of The Worst Offenses Last Season, And Health(One Thing You Can't Count Year To Year) Could Prove The Only Remedy. When Sean McVay Arrived at the Rams, he Built His Offense On The Run. Season, Years After Abandoning The Run, McVay's Team Finished Last In The Run And Couldn't Scrap Together A Competent Game Plan To Counterpoise An Already Shifting Passing Game. In The End, The Rams Proved That Going "All In" Suffocates Any Hope Of Building A Sustainable Success Model.
