NFL Week 11 Takeaways.

Sometimes, I Wish I Could Cover All The Games On Sunday, But Human Limitations. The Eagles Got Revenge In November For The Burns They Suffered In February At The Hands of the Chiefs In The Super Bowl. CJ Stroud and Jared Goff Overcome Themselves After A Pair Put Three Interception Games But Deliver Wins For The Texans And Lions In Their Respective Games. The Broncos, The Hottest Team In Football This Season As We Enter The Playoff Stretch.

Vikings Vs. Broncos

This NFL Continues To Produce Heralding Stories From the Lions To Texans But None Greater Than Josh Dobbs. Many Of These Heart Felt stories Of Triumph Help Assuage The NFL's Image As An almost Life Threatening Spectacle Of Swarming Bodies.

Some Signs From Dobbs's One Start Last Season In Tennessee's Season Final Suggested His Name Could Emerge In The High-end Backup Market.

The Athletics Wrote An Aerospace Engineer No One Saw Rising To These Solar Heights Of Relevance. This Season, He's The Part Two Of A Geno Smith Like Story Coming From Dobbs. His Run As A Starter Looked Done After Arizona Announced His Benching, Just Like The Sun Or Some AstroPhysical Body Dobbs Rosie and His Second Act In Minny Has Eclipsed Anything Anyone Expected.

Dobbs's Story Has Stolen A Lot of The Shine This Week And One Of The Premier Victims Of The Dobbs's Effect, Rookie Jordan Addison. Dobbs Has Earned The Repute As A "High-level" Number two, But He's Number Because He's Not An Elite Passing. Addison Made A Handful Of Next Level Adjustments To Some Passes, Including A Big Acrobatic Pulled Down Along The Sideline. Justin Jefferson's Looms Imminently But Right Now Addison Filling In Just Right Generating A 123.1 Passer Rating When Targeted And +40.8 EPA Which Ranks 8th In The NFL Going Into The Game against The Saints In Week 10 He Added Four(4) Catches For 69 Yards. Right Now, Addison's Second On The Team In Catches With 45 And Second In Yard At 603 Yards. The Viking's defense Holds the Team To Just Under 21 Points Per Game, But The Broncos Don't Need High Octane Affair To Win; Russell Wilson Only NeedS A Few Drives To Won. Kevin O'Connell Doesn't Want To See The Vikings Win Streak Come To An End, But They Have To Lose at Some Point.

The Vikings Look Like A Superbowl Contender In This Game For Stretches In This Loss To The Broncos. The Broncos Defense Forces A Josh Dobbs Fumble, And This Game Looked Like The Moment A Team Solved The Josh Dobbs Effect. I thought the Saints, With A Week To Prepare, Would Erase The Problem, But The Broncos Coming In Hot With Heavy Hits Looked Like The Answer. The Broncos Forced Two Turnovers Of Dobbs And Three Total Of The Vikings. Minnesota OutGained Denver On Offense 385-295, But Turnovers Gifted The Broncos a Favorable Field Position. All Of Minnesota's Turnovers Yielded(Including Two In The Second Half) FieldGoals For The Broncos. The Vikings Took The Lead In The Game On 10 Play 65, a drive That Ended with Josh Dobbs To Josh Oliver's TOUCHDOWN At The Beginning Of The Third Quarter, And Minnesota Held The Lead Until The Waning Moments Of The fourth quarter.

How Denver Likes The Game To Unfold. Josh Dobbs Avoided Traffic In The Form of Pressure—He Did Take A Sack In The Red Zone That Cost The Vikings a Score. Dobbs Completed A lot Of Nice passes, Including A Big Bomb Down The Field To Tj Hockenson. Still, Dobbs put The Ball In Danger A lot. Fortunately, he Only Came Away With One Interception Before Concluding His Third Start by Passing For One Touchdown And running for Another On the Ground. By The Time Minnesota Went Up 17-9 In The Third, The Game Look Over. The Broncos Punted On Their First Drive Of The Second, But Back Turnovers By The Vikings, Starting With An Alexander Mattison Fumble, And The Dobbs Gifted The Broncos two Field Goals To Cut The Lead Down To 17-15. Into The Fourth Quarter, Denver's Offense Had achieved relatively Nothing Against The Vikings's Defense. Despite Favorable Field Position, The Broncos Posted Five Drives Of 10 Yards Or Less. Like Jesus's First Miracle, The Broncos Save The Best Wine For Last. The Russell Wilson-Cortland Sutton Combo To The Back Of The Endzone Strikes Again. Russell Throw For Over 200 Yards For The First Time And In Five, And The Broncos Needed All Of Those Yards To Cap Of The Win In Yet Another Close Win. The Broncos Nearly Lost The Game On The Final Drive After Running Back Samaje Perrine The Ball And The Vikings Defender Forces A Fumble That Lands Out Of Bounds. Perrine Converts The Next First Down On A Catch And Run, And Then Russell Wilson and Sutton Make The Play Of The Game. Perrine Caught For 4 Passes For 40 On The Drive, Equaling To 7 Catches Total And 60 For The Game.

I'm Glad I Never Jump On The Train Of Writers Who Censure The Broncos Slow Start. Those quick-witted, Hot-Take Analysts Devised Ways For The Broncos To Get From Under The Contracts Of Both Wilson And Payton. Now The Broncos Have The Hottest Run In The League, And The Defense That Entered Ranked Last Should See At Least A Three Team Jump After This Weekend. The Vikings' Playoff Spot In The NFC Looks Secure. Barring A Complete Collapse, Catching The Lions In The Race For The Division Now Looks Impossible With A Three Loss Difference Between The Two Teams Records. Speaking Of Stories, How About Russell Wilson. He Threw A Wobbler That Again Hung In The Air For Cortland "Shaquille O'Neal" Sutton To Grab Out But Wilson's Play Like A Much Mature Version Of Himself. He's Work The Pocket, He's Working He's Less Demonstrative. Wilson Concluded His Fourth Game Winning Drive This Season, Mr. "Didn't Write Back," Finished 27/35 For 259 Yards And A Passer Rating Of 106.7, One Touchdown—Sutton Caugh Four, Two On The Final Drive, For 66 Yards, and A Score. Dobbs Legs I Think to Betray Him InnThe End. The Denver Pressure, In The End, Forces Him Backwards, And He Struggled To Make Quick Decisions Without The Magic To Make Something Happen With Opposing Rusher Stuffing Up Passing Laness. The Broncos Figured Him Out When They Needed And Dobbs Looked Ill-Prepared For The Moment.

Chiefs Vs. Eagles

The Super Bowl Rematch Didn't Disappoint. Both Quarterbacks Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes Suffered A Fair Share Of Struggles: Turnovers, Sacks, Missed Plays. Chiefs Wide Receiver Marques Valdez-Scantling Drops A Go-Ahead Touchdown, And The Eagles Seal The Revenge Game.

The Chiefs Have Talked Winning Ugly But They Lost Ugly On Monday. Hurts Struggled, Going 14/22 For 150, And Took Five Sacks. "In The End, It's About Finding A Way To Win," Jalen Hurts said. AJ Brown's Finished With His Worse Game This Season Just One Catch For Eight and One Interception By Hurts Targeting Brown On A Miscommunication. The Relationship between Hurts And Brown Continues To Look Strained. The Monday Football Camera Focused In On The Two Star Eagles Sharing Words On The Sideline. The Two Close Friends Look More Terrell Owens And Donavan McNabb At The End Of Their Career.

The Chiefs's Defense Pulled Out A Masterful Game Against This Eagles's Offense. Devonta Smith Leads the Eagles In Receiving. The Slim Reaper Pulled Down 6 Catches(Nearly Half Of The Hurts Completions) For 99 Yards(66% Of The Total Receiving Yards)and A Big 41 Yard Catch.

The No Joy Has a Sweeter Taste Than Revenge, But I'm Sure Hurts Would've Preferred A Win Over The Cheifs's Seven Months Ago. "Never Get Too High, Never Get Too Low," Hurts Added. But This Win Felt Less Enjoyable For Eagles Because Of The Struggles. "In The End Winnings The Only Thing That Matters… I'm Not Satisfied." The Chiefs Struggled In Other Areas Besides Drops. Travis Kelce Fumbles On A Punch Out that Ends a Chiefs Red Zone Drive.

Mahomes 24/43 177 Two Touchdowns And one Interception 71.6: The Run Game For Chiefs Look Good With Isiah Shearing Off Hard Run After The Hard Run, The Chiefs offense Fail To Lean In On That Aspect Of Their Game-plan. "We Have To Continue To Work," Mahomes Said After the Game, "We Had A Pretty Good First Half Running The Football." The Chiefs abandoned the Early Success—the Big Drop and an End Zone Interception Crush The Chiefs Hope In This Contest.

Mahomes Nearly Double Jalen Hurts In Pass Attempts. The loss Pulls The Chiefs Down To 7-3, And The Ravens Move Ahead In The AFC Standings. The Chiefs Have A Cushion soft Schedule With Only One Matchup Against A Team With a Winning Record In The Next Five Games( The Bills) Starting with The Raiders Next Week. The Eagles Now Posses The Best Record In Football For The Second Straight, With Their Best Football Still Ahead, According To The Team Mantra. "We Haven't Play Our Best Football," Devonta Smith Said To ESPN after The Game. The Eagles Dont Need Their Best Ball Right Now. They've Secured A Confidence Victory Over A Team They Could See Again Come The Superbowl.

Bears Vs. Lions

"Just Go Out There, and Win Games," Justin Fields

said To the Media, "Not Here To Prove Anything To Anybody." The Bears Went Out Against The Lions And Found A Way To Lose This Game. The Bears Earned A 98% Win Probability, Which Counts for Something But Not Where The Numbers Matter.

Remember When We All Felt A Palpable Sense Of Anticipation and Excitement For The Evolution Of Justin Fields's Game at The Beginning Of The Season, Only For His Passing And Rushing Game to Get Off To Slow Start? Field Said He Felt "Robotic," Which Contrasted Heavily Against How Fluid He played last Year When He Set A Career High In Passing Yards(still just his Second Season) And Nearly Broke The NFL Record For Quarterback Rushing Yards. I Thought Fields Would Make Another Run At The Record, But Field Didn't Look Like He Had The Juice, And The Bears Looked Like A Disaster. Fields Called His Play Robotic Critics Called The Offensive Play On The Field Regressive. How Jared Goff On Sundays Give Reticence As To Why I Scant Buy Into The Lions As Contenders. Sure, He Completed As Many Pass As Fields Attempted, And Yes, Fields Returned To football, But Goff Once Looked Like An MVP Candidate who Turned The Ball Over Three Times, His First Such Performance In Three Years.

Nevertheless, Credit The Lions For Shaking Off A Game Where They Slept Through Most Of The Way. In Justin Fields's Return, Fans Got What They Paid For In Admission From Fields. Good Enough Passing As A Quarterback, Keeping The Defense Honest, Shifty, And Explosive Running. The Bears Offense Put Together A 10 Play Drive Of 75 Yards That Showcased Fields Legs For 3 Scrambles for 28 Yards And Two Touchdowns. Fields's Ability To Break, Contain, And Escape Pressure Put The Lions Defense In Conflict, Whether To Hit Fields In Pursuit Or Stay Home In Coverage, And Left Voids Open For Fields To Cut Through. Fields Finished The Drive 3/4 For 38 Yards Passing. The Bears Couldn't Write A Better Opening Sequence Even With Christopher Nolan On The Screenplay. The Lions Hit A Lot Of The Usual Buttons. The Goff To Amon-Ra St. Brown Connection Pulled Together A Couple Of First Downs.

A Couple Of David Montgomery Rushing Attempts, but The Bear Pressure Force Goff To Throw Off Time And Force An Interception. Detroits The Ball Over twice On Their First Two Drive, Both Under Pressure, And The Bears's Offense Fails To Capitalize.

Instead, The Lions' Offense Powered By The Combination Of Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery. The Lions' run gets the First Of Two Touchdown In The Second Quarter, And The Lions carry a Lead Into The Second Half Despite The Rough Start.

The Lions Would Start The Third Quarter With Healthiest Win Probability They'd See Up Until The End Of The Game, Around 80%. The Lions Come Out Of The Half Flat; The Running Secured One First, Followed By a Three And Out. The Lions Pick up Another pair Of Turnovers, a Fumble, and Another Goff Interception. This Time, The Bears Capitalize. Three Plays Into The Bears' Second Drive Of The Half Off Of The Lions Fumbles Field Hits His Number One Receiver DJ Moore For 39 Yards For Touchdown. DJ Moore Had A Big Game. In the Second Quarter, The Bears's Stud Receiver Carried A Few Defenders And Picking Up A First Down. He Finished With 7 Catches For 96 Receiving Yards.

The Bears Take The Lead 23-14. (the Bears Scored A Field Goal After The Lions Punt). The Difference In Touchdowns And Field Goals Determined This Game. The Lions Finished With Four Touchdowns Total To Match The Number Of Turnovers. The Bears Came Away With Four Field Goals and Two Touchdowns.

Even With Jared Goff Struggling, the Lions, Down Twelve Points To the Bears, Fueled By Punts And Turnovers, Found Themselves Forced To Lean In On Their Passing Game. Credit Jared Goff For Clearing Away The Fog And Delivering Five Straight Completions, All Culminating With An Over The Shoulder 32 Yard Touchdown Bomb To Jameson Williams.

For The Relative Success Fields Experienced In The Passing Game, The Bears' Quarterback Finished 16/23 169 Yards, a passer Rating of 109, And A QBR Of 73.9, Fields Didn't Accomplish Enough. Fields Still Hold The Ball Too Long, And He's Most Effective On The Ground With Broken Play. Fields Ran For 18 Times For 104. The Bears Needed to Have A Lot of Success Getting Open. Outside Of DJ Moore, No One Of The Bears' Pass Catchers Had More Than 30 Yards Receiving.

The Bears's Final Score Drive, a 14 Play 70 Yard Drive That Ate Almost Nine Minutes In The Quarter, Consisted Of A lot of Scrambles And Tough Runs. Sure, The Bears Want To Kill The Clock In That Situation, But A Touchdown Wins The Game, And To Walk Away With Three Points At The Foot Of The Lions Feels Like A Waste. The Bears Play Safe, The Game Safe, The Lions, On The Other Hand, Enter A Sense Of Urgency And Play To win. On their Next Possession, The Bears Go Three And Out, again One Yard, And Kill Less Than Thirty Seconds On The Clock. Field Fails To Connect with Tyler Scott To Extend The Drive. The Bears's Win Percentage Dropped To 51%. Credit Jared Goff For Staring Down The Daunting Circumstances and Continuing To Show Up. Outside Of Te Three Interceptions, He Played "Good Enough" And was Brilliant In Some Moments. With Two Minutes Left, The Lions Come In Shot Gun and Allow The Run Game To Open Up Window, 11 Plays and 73 Yards Of Offense. David Montgomery Picks Up 44 Yards Of Offense(9 Through The Air, 35 On The Ground) And Cap The Lions Comeback Off With A One Yard Touchdown To Finish the Massive Comeback Over His Former Team. The Lions Lost The Turnover Battle, Lost Time Of Possession, and Lost The Ground Game But Won Third Down, finished 3-3 In The Red Zone, And Walk With The Point Difference. An Aidan Hutchinson Sack Fumble Produced A Safety And Final Score Of 31-26. Goff finished 23/35 For 236 Passing Yards, Two Touchdowns, And Three Interceptions. Good Enough To Keep The Lions In Second Place In The Conference. Goff's Short Pass To Sam LaPorta Put The Lions Up Three Points And Help The Lions Offense Put Up Seventeen Points In 2:37 Seconds.

David Montgomery, 12 Carries For 76 Yards. Amon-at St. Brown Hooked 8 Catches For 77 Yards. Brown Catches Passes Off The Floor.

Cowboys Vs. Panthers

If You're The Panthers, You Don't Want To See The Cowboys In Week 11. You've Heard What They've Done To The Giants And Other Teams Of The Panthers's Elk. All But One Of The Cowboy's Six Victories This Season Have Come By At always Three scores or Better, Three Scores. Only The Chargers Played The Cowboys Close. So Far This Season, The Cowboys Have Outscored Opponents 220–57 In Wins. The Panthers, Of Course, Know Going Away Losses Too Well This Season. In Some Strange, Dignified Way, The Panthers Have Only Gotten Beaten By Three Scores Or Better Three Times, And The Defense Has Given Up Less Than 17 Points These Past Three Games Straight, The Texans The Only One Of The Bunch That Includes Chicago And InDy, With A Top Ten Offense. In The Panthers' Defense Of Defense, The Browns Surrendered 38 Points To The Colts Offense The Cowboys Bring An Entirely Different Buzz Saw: A Buzz Caw Cutting Through Teams Like Specter Cutting Through Curtains In A Horror Movie.

Dak Enters Week 11 On Charge Of A Team Averaging Nearly 400 Yards A Game And Better Than 50% In The End Zone, Around 30 points A Game.

Bryce Young Will Also Face A Cowboys Suffering No Bad Quarterback Play From Opponents. The Panther Head Coaches Need To Find A Way Excuse To Give Andy Dalton The Start And possibly Save Their Jobs.

The Panthers Stayed Attached To Cowboys For a Good Stretch In This Game. The Cowboys Appeared To Have A Clear Agenda In This Game With Multiple Major Contest Ahead—no Need To Stay Healthy. The Offense Ran The Ball and passed Short( for The Most Part). The Cowboys Averaged Just 4.6 Yards Per Play, And That's Not Entirely A Product Of The Panthers, Which Did Play Well But Not That Well.

Dak Prescott Finished With 189 Yards On 25/38 Attempts, Two Touchdowns, and His Longest Completed Pass In Air Distance, 33. Yards. Prescott Hit Tight End Jake Ferguson For A 24 Yard Completion To Jake Ferguson

But The Games First Touchdown Went To Tight End Luke Schoonmaker. He And Ceedee Lamb Did Force A Deep Pass Interference Call In the Panthers's Territory, but the Cowboys Kept The Game Mostly Conservative—Lamb Caught 6 Passes For 38 Yards And His First Touchdown Of The Season. The Cowboys' Rushers Produced a Handful Of Good Runs Whenever The Panthers' Defensive Line Didn't Blow Up The Offensive Back Field. Tony Pollard Finished With 12 Carrie's For 61 Yards On The Ground. The Panthers Found Success On The Ground With Chubba Hubbard. The Former Fourth Round Pick Out Of Oklahoma State, Hubbard, Picked Up 57 Yards On 10 Carries. Run Defense stuck Out As One Of The Cowboys' Weaknesses Last Season, And If The Panthers Fielded A More Productive Offense, Maybe The Cowboys Only Lead 17-10 Late Into The Third Quarter. Maybe The Game Would Feel More Threatened. The Cowboys Instead Tack On Another Touchdown, Bryce Young Throws A Pick Six, and the Final Score Looked Like Everyone Expected. Young Finished A Rough Outing, Again With a few Nice Completions—Honestly, Anything He Does Positively Looks Nice Now—. Young shot sacked seven Times This Game On His Way 16/29 for 123 Yards, One Touchdown, one Interception, and A Lost Fumble. The Cowboys Have A Tough Stretch Headed Their Way. No More Cupcakes, Except Maybe The Commanders Coming, Afterwards Five Games Against a Team Projected To Make The Playoffs.

In Football, You Can't Look Past Any Opponent, But The Cowboys Brushed This One Off.

Texans Vs. Cardinals

CJ Stroud Tour De Force Continues Against Former Number One Overall Pick As The Texans Face The Cardinals In Kyler Murray's Second Game Back As A Starter In Cardinal Red. In Just 10 Pro Games, Stroud Has Transformed From A Kid Who Failed To Deliver Ohio State A Victory In The Only "Relevant" Game Ohio State Played In the Regular Season At Michigan. Stroud Turns On The Hydro Canon On Georgia In College Football Playoffs, But The Questions Remained, Whether He'd Provided Enough Quality Pro Performances. Some Analysts Went As Far As To Suggest Stroud Return To Columbus And Earn The Top Spot In This Draft; Well, He Has Earned That Spot By Tearing The Formative Pieces Of Other Teams. Stroud Naturally Had Big Shows To Fill Because Houston's Last Star Quarterback A lot Up The League(I'm Sure You've Heard Of Him For One Reason Or Another). That Guy Has Become An After Image In The Dominance Of Stroud. I Don't Think Whatever Happens With Kyler Murray And The Texans' Draft Pick Should affect how The Cardinals move at the Top Of The Draft; Take The Best Quarterback Available And Move Forward. Kyler Says He Enjoys The Offense. Excellent, No Need To Wait And See How Long His Sentiments Last. The Cardinals Own Houston's Pick, So They Possess An Extra Motivation To Secure The Win And Prevent The Houston From Winning The Division And "Pushing The Odds" For The Pick Further Off Scale. CJ Stroud Proved On Sunday That Not Even He, On A Turnover Plague Afternoon, Can Prevent Him From Coming Out Strong In Big Moments. The Three Interceptions From Stroud Didn't Surprise Me, Matter Of Fact, More Surprise He Took So Long. For All The Praise The Texans Star Has Garnered, And Rightfully So, He's Lead The League In Bad Throw Rate For Much Of The Year(According To Pro Football Reference), Only Recently Losing The Top Spot To Former Texans Star Deshaun Watson.

With Watson Not Expected To Attempt Another Pass This Season, I Could See Stroud Climbing Back Up To The Top. Stroud Finished With A Good Number Of Bad Throws Beyond The Interceptions. The Ohio State Product has Average Arm Power But Amazing Touch(Because Only Josh Allen Can Have That Prowess). Stroud's Master The Art Of Processing And Decision Making. Stroud Covers Up His Indiscretions With Big Plays, And Man Those Big Plays Whites Out Stroud's Mistakes. This Cardinals Texans Matchup Field A Fair Share Of Big Plays. Kyler's Fully Back, And If We're Talking Big Throws, Throw Kyler's Name In The Mix.

Three Plays Into The

Game, Kyler Connects With Rondale Moore Down The Field.

The Texans' Defense Played Expecting A Run, And With Kyler Murray Sitting In The Pocket, No One Looked Over The Top and Got torched by Rondale Moore Who A Few Steps Behind The Secondary. The Cardinals' Big Play Forced The Texans' Offense to Respond With A Little Aggression, And Stroud Struggled some On That Opening Drive. Texans Linebacker Kyzir White Nearly Picks Off Stroud On The Second Pass of The Game. White Also Stepped Up To Stop The Texans Fourth Attempt On The Very same Drive. On The Next Drive, The Texans put Together A 5 Play 61 Yard Drive Capped Off By A 20 Yard Score. Dalton Shultz Put The Cards On The Board 7-7.

A Will Anderson Sack( the Guy The Texans Traded Up With the Cardinals To Draft) Sacks Kyler Murray And forces a field Goal. The Texans Put Together Another Strong Drive, This Time 10 Plays, 75 Yards. Stroud Takes A Big Sack But Recovers To Help Put The Texans Offense In The Red Zone, And Running back Devin Singletary Pick Up 32 Yards On The Carrie and A Few Texans With Him Into The End Zone. Singletary Finished With A Big Game, 22 Carries 112 Yard. The Texans Struggled To Complement With A Run Much Of This Season Until This Game. Stroud Fails To Add Another Score To The Texans Lead On The Next.

He Gets The Texans Into The Endzone, But He Telegraphs a Pass To Nico Collins And suffers The First Of Three Interceptions— The First Of Two Red Zone Picks On The Game, The Third at The Foot Of The Red Zone. Of Course, He Makes Up For The Error With A Big Play Down Field To Wide Receiver Tank Dell, who Picked Up A Litter Of Big Plays Against The Cardinals On His Way To A 8 Catch 149 Yard Game and A Touchdown, The Best Game of Dell's's Young Career. Stroud Casually Hit 338 Yards(259 In The First Half Alone)Passing Two Touchdowns And Three Picks. Two Of His Interceptions After Long Drives, So The Texans Generated A lot of Yards Without Scoring Any Points.

The Texans Move To 21-10 and do not score Any More Points But Pull Out The Win On The Winds Of A Strong Defensive Performance Against Kyler Murray—the Cardinals Post The Only Points Of The Second, A Kyler Scramble Touchdown. He Looks Completely Reformed, Rejuvenated From That ACL Injury. He Took a Hit, Dodge A Few Others, And His Cuts In And Out Looks As Explosive As Before. The Cardinals' Offense Doesn't Have Enough Playmakers, Especially with Big-body Receiver Micheal Wilson Out, and The Texans Gave Away A Few Opportunities In The Second Half.

The Texans' Offense Fell In The Second Half No, Literally, CJ Stroud Fell At One Point. Nevertheless, The Cardinals Failed To Make Good The Chances Given. Stroud Over Came Himself In This Game Even Though All But One Of His Pick The Defense Made Great Plays On The Ball. However, This Can Turn Out to be a Sign Of Things to Come For Stroud. He Doesn't Follow Through on His Passes, Which Gives The Ball Less Torque And The Defense More Room To Get Involved.

The Texans Meet The Jag Next Week Winner Takes The AFC South Division. Kyler Had Some Ups And Downs In His Second Game Back, 20/30 214, one Pick By Derek Stingley, One Touchdown. He Got Sacked Three Times. Murray Added A Score On The Ground And 51 Yards. Greg Dortch led the Team In Receiving 6 Catches For 76 Yards.

Steelers Vs. Browns

The Browns Made A Serious Dent In The Ravens Lead In The Division Race And, In My Opinion, The Ravens' Legitimacy As A Title Contender(At Least In My Opinion), But The Win Came With A Price. This Week, The Browns Announced That Starting Quarterback Deshaun Watson Will Miss The Remainder Of The Season. At The Caution Of Doctors, Deshaun's Mostly Disappointing Second End Watson With A completion Percentage Of 61.4%, 1,115 Passing yards, and seven touchdowns against four interceptions, A 44.7 QBR, And An additional longing For His Return To Star Form. Deshaun's 2023 Reminded Me A Lot of The New Star Wars Movies, Filled With Some Of The Highs We Expected But Mostly The Lows Of His Play We, As Football Fans, Come to Accept As The "New Normal." Suffice To Say The Big Contentious 230 Million Dollar Remains Stained; No One Can Win The Deal. Outside Of Winning A Super Bowl(Maybe If He Doesn't), Deshaun Can't Live Up To The Deal He Signed. Watson Received Multiple MVP Money to Play Like A Scrub And, Worse, An Unavailable Scrub. The Browns' Organization Continues To Received Flack for The Contract, But at Least They Won't Have To Defend Watson's Absence Or His Poor Play. How Does Watson's Absence Effect The Browns's Playoff Chances? The AFC Playoff Remains Open And The Odds For The. Browns Will Drop In Watson's Absence. However, The Browns Have Won Without Watson—Twice— With PJ Walker, who played Worse Than Watson By Most Measure. If Anyone Wins, The Rest Of The League Owner Who Bemoaned The Deal From The Get And Deshaun's Critics Who Live For The Opportunity To Excoriate Watson's Play And embellish How Much The First Fully Guaranteed In Football Has Amounted To Mega Million Dollar Disappointment.

The Browns Have Now Lost Both Of Their Chief Offensive Catalysts, With Watson And Chubb Done For The Year. The last time The Browns Faced This Pittsburgh Team, Deshaun Won The Game For The Steelers. The Steelers' Offense Did "Next To Nothing" And Two Defensive Touchdowns Made The Difference On The Board. If Watson's Replacement, Dorian Thompson-Robinson, Manages To Protect The Ball Better Than Watson, The Browns' Defense Should Win This Game For The Team, Just Like EVERY other Win The Browns Earned This Season. Still, You Don't Want To Go Too Far When Asking Browns's Quarterbacks To Protect The Ball. Watson, PJ Walker, and Dorian Thompson-Robinson Have All Struggled With Turnovers, And Combined, They Boost Of A 8:20 Touchdown To Turnover (Interception/Fumble) Ratio. If You're A Fan Of Offense, Which Categories Most Football Fans, This Matchup Had To Give You Chills. But The Forecast Called For Punts And A Scoring Affair. Unless You're A Fan Of The Browns Or The Steelers, Or To Test Your Nerves By Enduring The Toughest Programs To Watch On TV, You Knew Going In This Matchup Could Get Ugly. With Dorian Thompson Robinson Making His Second Start Of The Season, The Browns's Offense Leaned In On Passing, Almost Flipping The Expectations From An Expected Run Heavy.

The Rookie Didn't Reward Kevin Stefanski For The Trust The Coach Put Into His Quarterback's Arm. DTR(From Now On) Took 40 Plus Drop-backs, 43 Attempted Passes Only To Come Out 163 On 3.8 Yards Per Pass. The Browns Took an Early Lead On A Touchdown Drive With Their Second Drive Of The Game, Which Consisted Mostly Of Direct Snaps To Jerome Ford And Two Passes By Thompson-Robinson Over 7 Plays. Somehow, Perhaps Calibrating Themselves To The Wave Of The Game, Cleveland Continued To Lean In On The Pass. Like The Most Recent Drake Album, DTR Had His Moments. The UCLA Product Used His Legs To Pick Up The Game's First First-Down For The Browns. With His Legs, One Of The More Attractive Aspects Of DTR's Draft Profile. Robinson Also Hits David Njoku On A Nice Quarterback Rollout For A Catch And Run Of 18 Yards; You Ask More For A Rookie Than The Browns Did Sunday.

DTR Leaned In On His Tight End A lot. David Njoku Received 15 Targets, Caught 7 Passes For 56 Yards. The Browns Ran A Total Of 73 Plays, and Dtr Helps The Browns Offense Add Another Field Goal Before The Half. Steelers Would Match The Browns's Point Total In the Second Half; The Second Half Belinged To The Steelers, But Truthfully, This Game Afforded The Team So Many Opportunities: The Defense.

The Browns's Defense Completely Suffocate Kenny Pickett. Myles Garrett Picks Up A sack For Eight Yard On The Steelers ' First Plays With Pittsburgh Backed Up In Their own Yard Line—pressure, Pressure, Pressure. The Browns's Pressure Looked Unyielding Against Kenny Pickett In The First Half. The Steelers Could Hardly Run Screen Plays. The Steelers Get A Big Second Half Run By Jalen Warren Of 74 Yards, Help The Steelers Offense Cut THE Browns Lead Down 10-7. that Flahs By Warren, Who Finished The Game With 129 On 9 Carries and The Glut Of The Steelers Offense. Pickett Struggled With Accuracy Even When Kept Clean; Pickett Struggles With Accuracy Every Game on His Way To A 15/28 106 Passing Yard Finish.

George Pickens led the Steelers With 4 Catches For 38. The Second Half Offense Ran Through Warren, Whose 14.3 Yards Per Carry Looks Exaggerated By The One Big Play, But Warren Gained Steadily For The Steelers And Set up The Game Tying Field Goal On The Ground.

The Browns's Offense Need A Late Field Goal Run to Take Home The Win 13-10. A Late Sack By Myles Garrett Knocked The Steelers Out Of Field Goal Range And Put This Game Out Of Sight.

We Didn't Learn Anything New About These Two Teams. The Browns' Offense looked no Better With DTR Than Watson, But The Rookie Didn't Turn The Ball Over Three Times again. He Threw One Pick A Ball That Bounced Off Of Amari Cooper's Hand And Into The Waiting Arms Of A Steelers. For The Steelers, The Rest Of The NFL can't Allow Pittsburgh To Win Games Playing With A Passing Offense That Gained Less Than Three Yards A Play. But For the Steelers, Here Comes The Freshly Joe Burrow-Less Bengals Coming Around In Week 12.

Jets Vs Bills

The Bills Have Effectively Lost Themselves Out Of The Playoffs, Not In Week 11 But In Week 10. The Bengals's Ultimately Dropping Out After The Joe Burrow Helps The Bills Odds And Supplanting Either The Texans, Browns Or Steelers In The Standings Wouldn't Deter Any Team. Each Wild Card Team Has Pronounced Flaws(All Team Has Flaws). The Texans Start a Rookie Who Whose Playing At An MVP Level, But He's A Rookie, And His Hot Start Could Taper Off. The Steelers Have Gotten Offensively OutGained In Every Matchup But Not Outmatched. The Browns Also Have A Rookie Now At The Helm Of Their Playoff Hopes. The Bills Have Squandered So Many Favorable Games and Now Find Their Playoff Hopes Out Of Their Hands, But Making Up For Lost Opportunities Starts With The Next Opponent. The Bills Decked The Jets 32-6 And Return To Dominating Form, Somewhat, In Theron First Game With New Offensive Coordinator Joe Brady. "it's Very Unfortunate How The Cookie Crumbles. I Got A Lot of Respect For Dorsey."

Star Wide Receiver Stefon Diggs Said After The Game, "Just Like Every Body, You Gotta Flip The Page." The True Test Of The Change At OC Will Come Later This Season, But Early In This Game, The Move Look Tainted. The Bills Still Struggled To Remedy Many Offensive Ills That Lead To Dorsey Expelling. "Not Too Much Different. The Same Schematically," Diggs Continued. "The game Throws Curve Balls At You."

This Game Play Out More On The Side Of Where The Jets Failed Rather Than How The Bills Succeeded. The Jets Offense Turn The Ball Over Four Times, Failed To Gain 100 Yards Passing and Rushing and Only Gained 155 Yards Of Offense. Zach Wilson's Eternal Coupling With getting Benched Continued After Head Coach Robert Salah Pulled His Quarterback In The Third Quarter with The Jets trailing 29-6 and Wilson Only Having Produced 81 yards On 7/15 And Getting Sacked By The Bills Defensive Line Five Times. Wilson Threw A Pick And Threw A Touchdown Pass, The Only Points The Team Scored All Game. Tim Boyle Steppe In For Wilson, The Jets's Backup Completed 7 Pass On 14 Attempts For 33 Yards. I Think Salah Took Wilson Out To Save The Quarterback A Few Extra Hits On The Night. The Jets Day got Off To An Inauspicious Start When Kick Returner Xavier Gipson Fumbled The Kickoff. The Bills recover the ball and start the game's First Drive At The Jets' 21-yard line. While The Jets' Offense Struggled To Keep Possession and Sustain, The Defense Spent Most Of The Time Pushing Back The Bills Offense Fir As Long As Possible. With The Bills' Offense In the Jets's Territory, A Quinnen William Sack On Third Down Forces An Early Field Goal. For Three Possessions Straight, The Bills Post Field Goals On Offense Despite Long Drives That Span More Than 10 Plays. The struggle To Convert Long Drives Into Touchdowns, Without Ken Dorsey, Very Little Has Changed. Facing A 9-0 Deficit, Zach Wilson Throws An Interception, Giving Josh Allen and The Bills' Offense Another Opportunity To Break The Jets' Defensive Will. This Time, The Bills Make Good Use Of The Short Field, Going Five Plays 23 Yards and a short Pass To James Cook To Push The League Up To 16-0. Even as The Jets Score Their Only Touchdown on A Breece Hall Catch And Run For 9 Yards, The Only Positive Pulse From The Jets's Offense. After Throwing A Late 1st Half Heave Interception, Josh Allen Entered The Second Half Pummeling The Jets Defense. Perhaps Sensing They Had Something To Prove, Josh Allen Delivers An 8 Play 75 Yard Drive Cap Off By A 23 Yard Catch A Run By Ty Johnson. The Jets' Defense Failed To Keep The Game Close By They Succeeded In Neutralizing The Josh Allen To Stefon Diggs Combinations. Diggs Still Owned The Highest Margin Of The Team's Target Share. The Jets Defense Held Diggs To Just 27 On 4 Catches and 8 Targets.

At One Point Sauce Gardner Supplex Diggs Goldberg Style To Reinforce How The Jets' Defense Took The Assignment. Josh Allen Finished 20/32 with Three Touchdowns, One Interception That Meant Nothing, And A Passer Rating of 108.2. Teams Have Taken Away Diggs In Prior Week, Allen Picks Up The Next Guy, And Today, Kahlil Shakir Stepped In The Light For the Second Time This Season. Shakir Caught The Big 81 Yard Catch And Play To Help Put This Game Away For The Bills. Buffalo Marches Back Into The Win Column And Stave Off Falling Below.500 At 6-5. The Bills Beating The Jets In Week 11 Looks Less Impressive Because They Failed To Secure The First Chance In Week One.

Buffalo Still Needs To Find Back Into The Playoff Picture. A Path Forward Still Looks Unclear. For The Jets, Robert Salah Won't Commit To A Starter, But Hell, Mostly Likely to roll out Zach Wilson As The Two, Quarterback And Coach, Marched To A Swan Song At The End Of The Season. I Can't See The Jets Holding On To Either One After This Disaster. Who Else Can't Hold On To Things, Particularly Passes, Garrett Wilson. The Jets Lead Receiver Finished With Just Two Catches For 9 Yards On Nine Targets. Breece Hall Leads the Team With Five Catches For 50 Yards.

The Jets Fall To 4-6 Well Out Of Playoff Range.

Bengals Vs. Ravens

The Bengals And The Ravens Make The Quick Turnaround To Face One Another In A Crucial AFC North Matchup. Both Teams Suffered hard-fought losses In Week 10 And Made The Quick Turnaround.

Credit The AFC North For Generating A Ton Of High Leverage Matchups; I Wish More AFC North Matchups Could Happen This Season Because Right These Matchups Shape The AFC Playoff Picture. The Bengals Lost To The Ravens The Last Time These Two Teams Met. Joe Burrow Still Hadn't Nieves His Injured Calf Back To Full Strength And The Ravens By Three Points.

The Ravens Get On The Board In The First Possession Of This Game, 9 Plays 75 Yards Finished Off With A Plunge By Gus Edwards, Set By A Big 33 Yard Catch And By Zay Flowers—Who Weaves Through Traffic Like A Police Chase—That Flipped The Field Position. Injuries Dedicated This Matchup For The Bengals The First Time These Teams Met This Time The Specter Of Injuries Came To Visit The Ravens Sideline.

First, The Ravens Receiving Attack Lost Tight End Mark Andrews, who Got the Game Started With A Catch For 14 Yards To Get The Game Through The First Quarter With Ankle Injury. Luckily, The Ravens Wouldn't Need Him. "It's Tough," Lamar Said To The Game After The Game, "…But Guys Gotta Step Up" The Wide Receivers, The Weak Element Of The Ravens Team, Stepped Up In This Game. Reports Later Confirmed That The Ravens Unfortunately Lost Mark Andrews For The Season.

Lamar Moved The Chains With His Legs A Bit On The First Gus Edwards Finished Off The Drive. On The Ravens Second Drive, Lamar Looked To Scramble To Keep Another Drive Alive On Third Down, Gets Tackled Hard To The Sideline, and Leaves The Game Gimpy As The Game Entered The Second Quarter. History Tells Us That Around This Time, The Ravens Usually Lose Lamar To An Injury Of Some Sort. The Bengals Wouldn't See The Ravens Back Up, Whom Cincinnati Beat Twice Last Season( One of Those Games In The Playoffs). Lamar Would Return In The 2nd Quarter To Lead The Ravens' Next Drive, Though The Ravens Failed To Build On Their Lead For The Moment. The Ravens Would Generate a Two Score Lead Before Half, Their eighth consecutive Game With a Halftime Lead.

The Ravens Showed Their Claws Or Talons Early, Grabbing The Quick Lead, And Then They Tried To Wear Down. The Ravens Haven't Trailed Much All Season. Most Of Their Losses Have Come In The Waning Moments Of The Game. The Bengals Pick Up A Field Goal On Their First Drive. Both Defenses, Especially The Pass Rushes and Blitzes, Started Dominating The Game. A Sack By Jadeveon Clowney Cancels An Early Bengals Drive And Ultimately Knocks Burrow Out Of The Game. Everyone Who Watch The Game Saw The Video Of Burrow Curling Over In Agony With What Revealed as A Wrist Injury. The blitz Also Haunts Lamar On A Few Occasions, And the Defenses Begin To Control The Game. The Ravens' Passing Attack That Started The Game Hot Caught A Case Of The Ghastly Chills With the Bengals Secondary Flying In The Back End. Lamar Lost A Touchdown Pass Thanks To A Holding The Nullified Another Big Zay Flowers Catch And Run.

Lamar Still Put The Second Ravens Touchdown On The Board—the Ball Exits Jackson's Hands Ao Far, Like A Hummingbird Whistling Through The Air. Jackson Uses A Flick Of The Wrist, Which Doesn't Apply A Ton Of Power On The Pass, But Even A Tipped Pass From A Clean Pocket Finds A Way To Nelson Agholor Who Then Converts The Short Pass Into A Touchdown. Jackson's Arm Would Put another Ravens Touchdown On The Board, And The Ravens Would Take A 21-10 Lead. While The Bengals Offense Could Only Settle For Field Goal, The Ravens Found The End Zone. The Ravens Backup Would Take The Field In The First Half, but The Bengals Backup Would Make His 2023 Debut. Jake Browning's WithOne Pass Attempt To His Pro Career Would Step To Fit The Big Mold Of Joe Burrow: The Entire Bengals's Offense Orbit Burrow.

Burrow Executes The Timing, Manipulation, Creation, and Ability To Feed Jamar Chase At All Times. In His First "Non-Preseason" Action Since His Days In College, Browning Completed A Few "Commendable" sequences, Finishing 8/14 68 Yards And A Late Touchdown, He Took Three Sacks.

He's A Backup Facing The Number One Defense.

The Bengals Lack The Threat Of Burrow. Browning Delivers A Field Goal Out Of The Half To Pull The Game Within One Score, But in The Second Half, the Bengals Offense Got Marked By Three And Outs.

The Bengals Fail To Cross Mid Field Again Until Less Than 4 Minutes Left In The Game, By Then The Ravens Had Jumped Off To A 34-13 Lead. A Jake Browning Two Yard Turndown A Disappointing Half/ The Bengals With Thoughts Hovering Around The Wrist Issue With Joe Burrow.

"Watch How Burrow Played In The First," Coach Zach Taylor Said, "He Did Everything For Us."

Burrow Left The Game 11-17, 101 Yards and A Passer Rating Of 100.4 And A Touchdown To Joe Mixon That Gave The Bengals A Brief 10-7 Lead Over Baltimore. "It's Tough To Lose Your Starting Quarterback," Taylor Continued, "I Thought We Were In The Game."

I'm Not Sure If Burrow Would've Made The Difference—Maybe A One Score Difference—The Ravens Suffered Little Issues Defending The Bengals Best Moves. Jamar Chase, A Man Raven Wrecking Crew, Finished With Just Two Catches For 12 Yards. Tanner Hudson(The Bengals Had To Reach Deep In The Personal With Tee Higgins) Lead The Team In Receiving With 4 Catches For 49 Yards. The Bengals Did Hold The Ravens To 6 Points most Of The Way Through The Second Half before Surrendering The Touchdown Drive Late. A Litany Of Ravens On Offense Suffered Injuries: Andrews(Lost For The Year)Lamar Briefly Enter The Tent Then Return And OBJ; All Casualties Of One Player. The debate Whether Thursday Night Games, An Essential Element Of The NFL Season, Should Persists Because Players Only Get Such A Limited Time To Rest And Respond. The NFL has to keep each week's Game Dispersed Or Risk Sundays Becoming Too Crowded, Especially Because A Fan Like Myself Goes Into Football Screens When I Work My Writings On Sunday.

On The Other Hand, the Bengals's Linebacker Went Hunting; At Least, That's How Reports Frame Wilson's Specialized Tackling On The Ravens Star Offensive Players. I'm Of The Thinking That When A Play Looks Dirty, Calling the Play Anything Else Disservices Everyone Involved. (For Clarity, The Play On Mark Andrews That Ended His Season Looked Dirty).

The Fall Dread Of Injury Luck Took Andrews This Season, and Now Lamar, Who plays exceptionally (ish) This Game,16/26 264 Passing Yards, 10.2 Passing Average, 15.5 Yards Per Completion, Two Touchdowns, And A Passer Rating Of 121.3. Lamar Added Another 54 Yards On The Ground. Odell Beckham Continues coming along with Four Catches For 116 Receiving Yards And Got Injured On A Big 51 Yard Play With about 7 Minutes Left In The Fourth. Running back Keaton Mitchell, Another One Of The Ravens's Joy Stick Like Players, Took 8 Carries For 33 Yards, 4.1 Yards Per Carry.

The Ravens Now Move To Finish Their Season And Wrap Up The Division, But I Could Argue That The Season Now Looks Headed For A Reset With The Injury To Andrews And The Ravens Haunted Past With Injuries Around This Time Of The Year.

Coach Zach Taylor Confirmed On Friday That Joe Burrow Will Miss The Remainder Of The Season due To A Torn Ligament In The Quarterback's Wrist. "He's not. He's wired differently. "He's programmed differently. We are fortunate to have him.

Dolphins Vs. Raiders

Davante Adams Hasn't Enjoyed The Splendor Of His Usual Pro Production; He's Actually In The Midst Of His Worse Season, But The Raiders Still Hold A Playoff Spot Despite The Upheaval Surrounding The Team. Adams Has Notched 100 Yards Or Better Just Once This Season And More Than 60–yes, 60–Just Twice. The Raiders Letting Go Of Derek Carr Because That's What They Always Wanted To Do, And The New Regime Gave Them The Reason Still Looks Resemble, Especially When We Consider How Much The Saints Offense Has Struggled This Season. The Raiders Can't Excuse How Bad They've Played As An Offense All Season. The Raiders Run Has Come Along These Last Two Games; Josh Jacobs, Despite His Struggles(3.2 Yards A Carry) Stands At Third In The League In Total Rushing Right Behind Derrick Henry. With Rookie Aidan O'Connell Set To Face This Opportunistic Defense In Miami I'm, Tte Raiders May Look To Continue The Mildly Hot Hand Of Josh Jacobs Against The Dolphins.

Middle-of-the-road Team Like The Raiders Haven't Gotten Opportunities To Run The Ball Against The Dolphins Because Mike McDaniels Fast Likes To Put Teams Down Early. A Win Like This Could Legitimize The Raiders Playoff Position Or At Least Antonio Pierce's Place As A Head Coach. The Antonio Pierce Win Streak Ends But Not Before Davante Adams Gets Over 60 For Third Time This Season With 7 Catches For 82 Yards On 13 Touchdowns. The Dolphins Put Up 422 Yards Of Offense But Only Beat The Raiders By 7 Points. Tyreek Hill Nearly Double Adams's Performance in Yardage. Both Teams struggled With Turnovers. Raiders Quarterback Aidan O'Connell Threw Three Interceptions, But He Gets The Ball To Adams, So Whose Concerned? O'Connell Finished The Game 24/41, 271 Yards, And a 56.0 Passer Rating. One Interception Less and Maybe The Raiders Win This Game. Two Of Those Interceptions Landed In The Hand The Hawking Hands Of Jalen Ramsey, Who Not Only Had The Assignment On Adams But He Also Skies High Through The Air On A Jump Interception. The Raiders Offense Put The First Point On The Board. A Field Goal Off Of A Miami Fumble. The Raiders Use 7 Plays To Produce 14 Yards Of Offense And Settle For A Field Goal. But The Dolphins Pull Away With Two First Half Touchdowns And Tack On Two Field Goals In The Second Half, But This One Got Ugly. The Dolphins Offense, For The Second Season In A Row, Has Come Crashing Down To Earth. Tua Finished 28/39 with 325 Passing Yards, Two Touchdowns, One Interception, And A 103.0 Passer Rating. The Dolphins Run Game Got Devon Achane Back, But He Left With an Injury After One Carry As The Fins Rush For 99 On Back Of Raheem Mostert's 82 Yards. The Raiders' Rushing Game Came Down To Earth, No Surprise There, Josh Jacobs Rushes For 39 Yards.

The Dolphins Rise To 7-3, tied With Baltimore and Kansas City For The Best Record In The Conference, With Baltimore Holding The Edge With Conference Record. The Reality Of The Average Raiders Team We Knew From Weeks 1-8 Cloaked This Team.
