NFL Takeaways Week 16.

Rams Vs. Broncos

"A man used to act in one way never changes; he must come to ruin when the times, in changing, no longer are in harmony with his ways."

Machiavelli Niccolo.

If the NFL Thought They Stole Eye Ball From The NBA On Christmas, They Probably Did But More Because Of The Novelty Than The Unflinching Draw Of The Rams And Broncos. Those Uniform Are lit 🔥. Somewhere Baker Mayfield Has Already Played Three Games In A Rams Uniform. Usually, When A Team Doesn't Punt With Him Calling Shots, It's Because He's Drunk on Throwing Interceptions. Instead, The Rams Threw A Perfect Game In Battle For Which Team Gives Their First Round Pick To Another Team In The Best Position. The Rams Won Their Second Super Bowl; at least, That's How They Celebrated Beating Russell Wilson and The Broncos. Wilson Threw Three Interceptions In a 51-14 Beat Down. The Broncos And Nathaniel Hackett Couldn't Skate By Trying To Pass Off Field Goals As Actual Offenses. Baker Mayfield Had His Best Game Against a Not-So-Raiders-Easy-Defense- of The Broncos, One Of The Best Pass Defense Units. The Former Number Pick Continues To Make His Case For Another Shot, with 230 Yards on 24/28, an 85.7 completion Percentage, Two touchdowns, And a 124.7 Passer Rating. He's Tallied 571 In Three Games In LA. He Went To Hollywood and Wrote Him A new Narrative.

One Team Not Having A Hollywood Ending The Broncos. They've Fired Head Coach Nathaniel Hackett And are Desperate and Ready To Hit The Detonate Button On This Era. Still, One Albatross Remains Russell Wilson's Contract. When Can The Broncos Move On From Wilson? Never. The Over Aggressive Move Will Live In Infamy Long after Wilson Leaves and Hmthe Effects Of Surrendering A Top 3 Assessed and Appreciated. The Broncos Belive The Echo Of The voice is Out in The mountains; They're Only A quarterback Away And An Offensive Minded Coach. The Broncos Unceremoniously Fired Head Nathaniel Hackett On Monday. I Think he’s The First Kyle Shanahan Protege To Fail After Coming Over From The Packers Under Matt Lafluer.

"The wish to acquire is no doubt a natural and common sentiment, and when men attempt things within their power, they will always be praised rather than blamed. But mishaps and blame ensue when they persist in attempts beyond their power."

Niccolò Machiavelli, The Prince

What A Heart Breaker For The Patriots. I Know We're Living In The Era Where No Lead, No Matter How Big, No matter How It Comes About, Nor How Efficient The Offense That Produced Said Lead Moves The Ball; nothing is Guaranteed.

Two Teams Have Alewdy Blown Double Digit Lead More Than Once.

The Patriots Look done. Joe Burrow And Zach Taylor Had An Epiphany and Saw The Deep Zone Coverage Calls Coming. They Knew The Patriots Would Lock Unto Boyd and Chase. The Run Game Would Struggle, But the Opening Would Come Underneath. For The Second Week In A Row, The Patriot's Offense has had To Crawl Back From Anemic Start.

Joe Burrow found A Wave That Moves the Bengals from End-zone to End-zone With Alacrity. Tee Higgins Continued To Build On His Impressive Season. Opening Drive Goes Higgins Catches For 39 Yards in the Second Play Of The Bengals, Flipping the afield In One Play. Burrow Finished With 284 Yards In The First Half. He Took A Solid Amount Of Check, Downs, And Rightfully So. The Patriot's Defense Has Playmakers Ready To Take The Ball The Opposite Way, As Marcus Jones Did In The Second To Get The Patriots On The board.

The Pats Couldn't Find A Pulse.

Come The Second half, The Patriots Turned aggressive. "You Can't Make Up Chunks[Of Points] In One play," But The Patriots sure Tried. Taking The Fight Through The Air and Downfield. Mac Jones Forced a Few passes Into Double Coverage, And Into Mac Jones Took Those Arm Strength Comments Personally. "Couldn't throw it that far," Belichick said. Count It Up Belichick 48 Yards Hail Mary-ish Type Throw. I Dont Know How The Determined The Air Yards On That Play but That May Count As Longest As Jones's Career. "at Some Point, You Just Have To Let It, Rip," Jones said after The Game. The Beall Landed About Two Yards(Or At least Tipped Two Yards) Short Of What The Patriots Needed To Beat The Raiders, But Hey, Jones Put The Ball Out There, The Most Air Yards Of His Career. All Of The Questions Headin Into This Macthuo, Spored Out From The Patriot's Offensive Brain Trust. Could pee Shooter Arm Mac Jones, along With The Most Criticized Offensive play Caller, Senior Offensive Advisor In History Produce Enough Points?

Faced With The Prospect of Staying Alive In The Playoff Race And in A Fight With/off The Bengals. To Their Credit, The Almost Did. In The First Half, The Patriots' Offense reflected What We've Come To Associate As "The New Direction." The Patriots Fell Down 22-0, And The Game Look Over. Joe Burrow Had That Look On His Face, You Know the Same "Glib" Methodical Look That Screams Just Another Day Reading Coverage Signals A Carving Through To The Soft Spots. The Bengals Pick Up In The First Half Where They Left Off In the Second Half Of The Bucs Game; Burrow finished 40/52, 76.9 Completion Percentage For 375 yards, 7.2, and three TD(All Of Which came In the First Half). Zach Taylor Schemed Up Ways To Cut the Patriots Secondary To Ribbons Underneath. Tee Higgins Finished With 8 catches and 128 Yards. Some guy Name Trenton Irvin(Forgive Me For Never Foraging Into The Depths Of The Bengals Receiving Personal) Caught Two Touchdowns. Before His Breakout Moments In This Game, Irvin Had Eight Catches and 129 Yards On The Season. How the patriots Manage To Pull This Game So Close Baffles Me. Losing 22-18 Looks Like a Positive From A Different Perspective. Bengals' Offense Controlled Time Of Possession, Used 25 More offensive Snaps Than And Out Gain Them By Over 100 Yards.

The Bengals Lost The Turnover Battle 3-1, But For The Patriots, A Late Game Fumble Cost Them Again. This Time the, Rhamondre Stevenson Couldn't Share The Fault. Off Of A Jamar Chase Fumble, The Patriots Approach The Bengals Goal Line With Three Downs To Score In Four Down Territory. First And Goal Stevenson Get Hold Up And The Bengals Von Bell Stripes Stevenson Virtually Ending The Game and The Patriots Season. Bringing a Screeching Halt To A Miserable Day On The Ground. One Last Pulse, Ending With the Whimpering Thud Of The Fallen Football.

The Patriots Passing Attack Had Moments Of Brilliance. Still Battling The Label Of "Unimaginative," Mac Jones Gave His Receivers A Chance On The Ball.

The PatriotsThrew A Few Screen Plays In For Good Measure— Kendrick Bourne Came Down With A Couple Of Beauties. cThe Former Niner Lead The Patriots In Receiving. He Caught A Nice Touchdown On The Back Line, And Another Dazzling Toe Tap First Down. after The Game, Reporters Asked Coach Belichick Why Bourne Didn't Feature In The Pass Game. Why Hasn't The Offense, obviously Laden With Position Skill Players, Maximized Its Potential? To Which Belichick Replied, "No Particular Reason." he was obviously Resisting The Bait On A clear insinuation To Roll His Coaching Staff Under The Bus. Matt Judson Stands Correct things Haven't Gone The Patriots away, But they Have To Get Ready For Next Week.

Dolphins Vs. Packers

Blueprint 4

Dolphins 0.

Before The Game, I thought about explaining Why I Thought The Packers were The Perfect Style Choice To Counter The Dolphins No.1 Passing Attack. The Packers Build Their Defense To Defend, Repel High And Take Advantage Of High Volume Passing Attacks. They Have A Strong Coverage Unit With Rasul Douglas and Jaire Alexander, both Generating Sub 100 Passer Ratings, Including Linebacker De'Vondre Campbell. The Pass Rush Lost A lot Of fire Power after Rashan Gary Went Down. Still, the Dolphins Have Holes, and Tua's Confidence In His Arm is Continually Shaken. I've never seen Tua more disconnected from a game from a quarterback's perspective. His Three Interceptions Were Striking Misjudgment. He clearly overshoots or shoots late on the Tyreek Hill Drive Route m. Tua Throw A Knuckle That Looks More Like A Tennis Volley Or A Three Point Shot Over In an Attempt To By Pass Tow Defenders. As a result, He Missed The Intended Recipient And The Defender Right Into Jaire Hook Zone. The Packers Showed Man But Drop Into Zone Perfect Timing. The packers Played The Protect The Middle Card A Little Tendency Breaker. The Packers Also Played Press Coverage On Tyreek Hill Throughout The Game, then through a change-up with The Game On-Line. Taking Away Tua's Soft Spots and Forcing Him To Creative Lanes And Make Throws That Aren't In The Dolphins Quarterback's Quiver. Tua Blamed His Second pick On Miscommunication. That's Fine In A High Emotion Game Like This, In Those Type Of Plays Happen When You See Something Post Snap That You Didnt Recognize PreSnap and You Try To Force One In. The Final Of Tua Three Straight inceptions Just Flattened The Faces Of Everyone Waiting For A Big Play. Tua Reads The Rasul Douglas Defending Tyreek Hill. The Packers Show Man, But As The Dolphins Receiver Gain Depth, They Break Into A Zone And For Douglas Playing The Flat, That Meant Breaking Into The Flight Pattern Of The Ball. The Packers adjusted to The Dolphins In The Second. With No Run Game Because The Packers Defensive Line Stepped Up The Clogging, Mike McDaniels Called For A More Controlled Passing Play In The Hands Of The Packers.

Tua Regressed From MVP To Misfire Maniac, Like Much Of The Second Half Of This Season. Overshadowing the Great Game From Jaylen Waddle, Five Catches 143 yards. He Accounted For Almost 28% Of The Dolphins Air Yards While Accumulating 17 Yards After The Catch Per Reception.

Tyreek Hill Took Most Of The Packers Defensive Attention, And Most Of The Air Yards He Still Nabbed Four Passes For 103 Yards. Tua Tallied 18/25 310 12.4 Yard Per Attempt and An Absurd 18.4 per Completion.

The Dolphins Secondary Dropped a Few Potential Turnovers; Xavien Howard Played A Good Game Other Locked Up In Man Coverage. The Best Packer Receiver On The Day Could have Gone To The Vet Mercedes' Lewis, who Caught Rodgers Only Touchdown. The Offense still Look Laboring; They Just Took Advantage Of Key Dolphins Mistakes. They Couldn't Rush The Ball With Any consistency despite the Run Game Acclaim In The West Coast System.

Rodgers Look Average, Even If No One Wants To Say That The reigning MVP Has Gone Way Over The Cliff. He went 24/38, with One Touchdown, One Interception. The Packers finished Just 2/14 On Third But Chip In Four Fourth Down Conversions For Good Measure.

I Don't Know what The Dolphins Traded For In Bradly Chubb but Even With One Of The Highest Blitz Rates In The League, The Still Struggle To Deliver Pressure. The Dolphins Are Slipping And Sliding, With Too Many Teams Still In The Hunt For A Playoff Spot. The Packer Are also Back In The Mix In NFC. If they Win Out, They're Mostly In The Playoffs With A Winning Record. Matt Lafleur Group Can Threaten Anyone Because They Can Defend The Pass When The Time Calls for It. Can Aaron Rodgers Generate Enough Offense To Make A Matchup With The Vikings (Possibly) A Contest? They Face The Vikings Next week In A Season Defining Game. I Scoffed At Rodgers When He Suggested This Team Could Make The Playoff After Besting The Rams On Monday. Now I Scoff Not.

The Lost Drops The The Dolphins To 8-7, Cratering Their Playoff Chances That Look Unshaken At The Start Of This Losing Streak. The Titans, Jets, and Patriots Are Still In The Hunt.

Vikings Vs. Giants

Justin Jefferson Surpassed Randy Moss's Vikings Receiving Record, Going Over 1,673 receiving yards surpassing Moss's 2003 record Of 1,632 yards after A 25 Yard Out Route In The Early Going Of the Contest Against The Giants. A routine Route for Jefferson But A Seismic Shift In The History Books. Jefferson Entered The Game, Having Already Cover His Second 1600 Yard Season In His Career and On His away To The Most Yards In A Player First Three Season. I'm Honestly Surprised He Took Three To Break The Record. With Nearly 5000 (4,639 And Counting) In 48 Games, No Less. Jefferson Beat Miss By one Game. Moss Set The Record Back In The Old Sixteen Games Model.

He's The Most Productive Receiver In NFL History, Only Calvin Johnson's Season Record For Receiving Yards Of 1,964 receiving yards set in 2012 Remains standing. That's still 200 Yards away. In The Immediate He Has Last Year's Receiving Marvel And Triple Crown Holder Cooper Kupp To Upstage. Jefferson Won't Win The Triple Crown if He Doesn't Gather Enough Touchdown Passes. Jefferson Has Two Games To Knock Kupp's 145 receptions and 1,947 receiving yards, both The Second Highest Receiving Records.

In 2012 Johnson Held The Undisputed Title As The Best Receiver In The Game, No Challenge. Big Fast And Uncoverable, Uncontested On Contested Catches. Last Season Naming Kupp The Best Would Have Inspired an Argument. He Played almost Exclusively From The Slot In A Offense Designed To Generate Constant Mismatches And Yards After a Catch; Johnson Dominated.

Jefferson Has One Thing Amongst Many Things Going For Him, He's 23 On A Rookie Contract, and He'll Most Likely Have Another Shot At The Record. Johnson Set The Record at Age 27 And Only Played Three Years After That Season Before Unexpectedly Retiring.

Furthermore, Johnson Never Faced This Level Of Competition At The Receiver Position. Jefferson Will Most Likely Have Jamar Chase, Jaylen Waddle, Tyreek Hill, And Davante Adams To Contend With as The Best Receiver For A While. Only Adams Has Reached His Age of Thirty Seasons. I Still Prefer Chase, but you can argue with Any Top Flight receiver. Jefferson's Team, They're in Hotly Debated Matter About Their Competitive Relevance. Are The Vikings a Bad Team Posing With A Good Record? Are They God But Not Good Enough To Clearly Content? One Thing is Certain With One Possession, You Can't Bet Against This Team Pulling The Game Out. After Trading Punts and Then Trading Touchdowns, The Giants And Vikings Stalemated, 24–24. A Justin Jefferson 17 Yard Touchdown Catch Almost Put The Giants Down For The Count. Daniel Jones had thrown an interception over the middle of The Last Giant's Drive, followed by a three-and-out. The Vikings Rival In Playing tight. The tension Make every Game Feel Like Home. "It's Normal All It Is. Is Going Out There And Making Plays." Justin Jefferson Said After The Game. "doing What We Need To Get The Victory." The Giants Weren't Done. Presumed Defeated, The Giants found One More Drive That Reanimated Their Hope. Daniel Jones Completes 2/7, Including a 32 Yarder Darius Slayton Who Dropped a few Big Plays a Few Days ago But Not Today.

Jones Collected 40 Yards Total; that's All The Giants Needed To Get Into The Red Zone. Saquon Took Care Of Everything Fron There, 27 Yards To The House Almost Untouched. That Drive and That Lasting Score Might Have Lived Immortalized Had The Vikings Not One More Drive-In Them. As I said, Jefferson's Touchdown Numbers Are Marginal, But He's A Conversion Specialist. He's third downs four times in the second half. He Leads The league In Receiving First Downs and Yards After a Catch. Both Aspects Of His Game Collided On The Final Drive. Jefferson Caught Two Big Plays, One For Sixteen, The Other For Seventeen. After A Giants Sack knocks The Vikings Out Of Field Goal Range. Jefferson Took A Screen Pass to pass Midfield Into Giant Territory To Setup A Huge 61 Yard Field Goal, Which Kicker Greg Joseph Nailed.

The Vikings are Playing With the Team Of Destiny Type Vibes. The Loss Doesn't Hurt The Giants Because of Everyone Else In The Hunt For Their Hold On The Sixth Seed Loss. The Win Helps The Vikings, Who Remain In The Running For The NFC's Top Spot. Kirk Cousins

Dint Do 400 Again, But he finished with a Clean line, 34/48, with 299 passing yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions. Trade Deadline acquisition TJ Hockenson Had His First Big Game; he Gave Cousins A Big Goal Line Threat And Came Down With Two Above the rIm Type Touchdowns. The Vikings Are a Threat, But They're A Threat To Themselves.

Four NFC Playoff Hopefuls Had A Chance To Snag A Win And Strengthen Their Odds In A Playoff Race Headed For The Final Weeks For Its Conclusion. Instead, They All Loss. Nothing Changes(Except The Odds), And The Picture is Static. Daniel Jones Had an Impressive Game. Despite the Interception, Jones Finished With A Polished line Of 30/42 334 Passing Yards, One Touchdown One Interception. The Giants Pass Rush Got To Jones on Nearly Every Down(exaggeration). Danielle Hunter Finished With Three Sacks, And One Forced The First Turnover Of The Game On The Giants First Drive.

Commanders Vs. 49ers

The Commanders Struggle In Pass Protection. In The Past Two Games Versus The Giants, The Pass Protection Has surrendered 42 and nine(9) Sacks.

On Sunday, The Giants Each Gave Commanders Starter Trouble One By One. They Surrendered At Least One Pressure, None More Critical Than Kayvon Thibodeaux's Sack Fumble Touchdown. The Commanders Date Back To When Charles Leno Andrew Norwell And The Rest Of The Commanders Blocked For The Human Obelisk Carson Wentz. Charles Leno zJr Grades Out As The Best Blocker He's Also Given Up The most Sacks(6). Googling jdA Reputation For Inconsistent Blocking Doesn't Bode Well When You Face One Of The Best Rushes In The Game And One Of The Bosa Brothers. Yes, Commanders Fans, You Heard That Thunder In The Background, Niners, Star Defensive Player Of The Star Nick Bosa. Last Season Bosa Finished With 15.5 Sack By Pile, Driving the Offensive Line Into The Dirt On Track To The Quarterback. He's Racked Up 15 Sacks this Season and 71 Total Pressure. One Monster Game To Put His Numbers back Around 20, And The Commanders Are Giving That Big Game Vibe After Giving Four Sacks And 17 Pressures To The Giants D- Line. Real Super Sayain Golden Ape Type.

The Giants are Formidable Up Front But Far From Niner Level. The Commanders Offensive Coordinator Will Have To Install A Pass Pro For Bosa On Eveydown.

That Means Sacrificing Bodies Down Field. Turner Loves His Five Man, Four Man Route Combination In His Pocket And Forget About Them. The Niners Are The Best Pass Defense Since The End Of The Fall Season, Since The Start Of Their 7 Game Win Streak. That Suffocated Best Defense Doesn't Come With An Alternate Route Instruction Either, You Can't Run On The Niners. Their 74.7 Yards Offered On The Ground Are The Lowest In The League. Scott Turner Has Fielded Many Questions About Running Brian Robinson More As The Season Progresses. The Rookie Has Impressed But Maybe Not Test The Niners.

The Commanders Have Both The Lions And The Seahawks Hunting Their Heels For The Final Playoff. Like The Commanders, The Lions Survived a Slow Start And Now Stand At 7-7. Unlike the Commanders, The Lions Offense Has Identity And A Easier Schedule The Rest Of The Way.

Most Of The Competition is Either Out Of The Playoff Picture Or One Step Closer This Weekend: Carolina Panthers (5-9), Chicago Bears (3-11), and Green Bay Packers (6-8).

The Seahawks Find Themselves Shell Shock loser Of Four Of Their Past Five Games, Dealing With Injury Trouble and Have a Tougher Road Ahead. The Kansas City Chiefs (11-3) Andy Reid's Team Aren't Above Throwing Games Away Late In The Season But Remain Neck and Neck With The Bills For The Number One Seed In The AFC. The New York Jets (7-7), Who Have Pride To Play For Now That The Playoff Are Off The arable, and Los Angeles Rams (4-10), Who Are Packing Things Up For The Winter AND Moving On To 2023. The Commanders are No Slouch Defensively Either, Number Three In Total Yards Per Game(308.9). The Defensive Line Has Their Own Elite Fighters Upfront Starting With Montez Sweat 50 Pressure, Good Enough For Tenth. The Commanders Get Reinforcements In The Form Of Former Number Two Pick Nick Bosa's Former Teammate at Ohio State, Chase Young, Active For This Crucial Game. The First Time the Commanders Will Have All Hands On Deck Upfront. Young Adds Another Force To Their Pressure Package. On Offense, The Commanders' Receivers Terry Mclaurin, Curtis Samuel, and Jahan Dotson Are Going To Have To win Their One On Ones. Kyle Shanahan Has Something Special With This Group, Super Bowl Caliber Special. The Cowboys Could Learn from The Niners When Playing Inferior The Opponents Should Look Overmatched. No Offense To Ron Rivera, But You Can Tell The Niners Are Just Coached Better, And That Doesn't Show Up In The Highlights.

You CAN tell By How Brock Purdy Gets Rid Of The Ball Under Pressure. How He Avoids Getting Hit Heads By Using Angles And Leverage To Out Maneuver More Athletic And Agile Defenders, Escape Out Of Bounds, And Gets Rid Of the Ball every time. He Has Plan When He Breaks Contain. He's Not Trying To Make A Play Out Of Dust. Instead, he Checks Down Or Checks Out To Next Down. You Can See The Striking Difference Between He and Counter Part Taylor Heinicke. Both Quarterbacks Have Similar physical Stature And Background, But They Approach The Game From Completely Different Lenses.

"You Have To Play Football He Right away. You Have To Practice The Right Way." Kyle Shanahan Said After The Game. Coming Out Of The Half Tied 7–7. The Commanders Move the ball Against The Niners Defense In The Second Quarter, Controlling Ball, Forcing A interception and Winning One On One. Big Catches By Jahan Dotson, And Curtis Samuel Put the Commanders In The Red-zone On Two Separate occasions. He Flashes Some Starter Like Ability. The Commander's Offense Author A Near Eleven Minute Drive That ate Up 17 Plays 84 Yards, But A Goal Line Stand Would Keep The Commanders Off The Board. The Niners Welcomed The Fight Of Playing Through Extra Downs.

"When You're The Best, You Gotta Be Best Day In and Day Out. You Pick And Choose When To Turn It On." —Niners's Linebacker Fred Warner.

The Niners Would Strike Painter With a 71-Yard End Around Run By Ray Ray McCloud. He Scoots Untouched To The End Zone. Heinicke Would Strike. Against Football's Best Defense, Heinicke Converted Big Third after Bug Third Down Before Hitting Jahan Dotson I. in the Back Of The Endzone To Tie The Game. After The Half, In A Move To Negate The commander's Time Control Strategy, The Niner Took The Offense Up Another Gear. Brock Purdy Came Out of The Half, Leading The Niners Passing Attack on A drive Through The Underneath Game. Exemplified By Short Completion To Brandon Aiyuk(13Yards)and George Kittle(13Yards) To Set Up The Deep Of The Middle Strike, A 34 Yard Laser To George Kittle Right Over The Top Of Two Deep Zone Safeties. Aiyuk And Kittle Combined For 94 Of The Niner's 105 Yards After The Match.

After taking The Lead, The Niners wanted 59 Force Commanders away From The Long Drive Game. A Quick Punt And A Turnover Downs Marked The next Two Drives For The Commanders. No Consistent Movement Upfront The Niners Had No Trouble Rolling In Yards After Catch Machine. If The Commander's Defense Line Brought Pressure, Which They Did Infrequently, Purdy would Never Let The Hand Sweeps and Body Collision Up Front Phase Him. He Climbs The Pocket and Found His Player Makers Streaking Downfield. He Hot Sack Three Times, But The Drives Stayed alive.

The Commanders needed the plan To Defend Long, Progressing Routes. On The Second Of Two Niners Touchdown, The Top Weapons Work In Unison. Aiyuk Runs A Clear Toute to Drove the Cloud Defender Into the Endzone Kittle Runs A Drive Route Underneath 27 Yards After Catch Later Touchdown. Purdy Looked Completely Unnerved Just Sinking The Commanders Like That Old Battleship Game. Kittle Finished With Catches, 120 Yards, Two Touchdown 4.62 Yards per Route. Brandon Aiyuk Caught Five Purdy Bombs, 81 Yards, and 3.24 Per Route Ran.

The Commanders Offense Didn't Have Enough Fire Power, Enough Nitro To Keep Pace With Nine Once Kyle Shanahan Hit Turbo.

The Niners Defense Forced Taylor Heinicke Into back To Back Turnovers, A Sack Fumble, And Interception. One Of Nick Bosa's Two Sacks On The Afternoon.

The commanders Pulled Heinicke, Who Finished 13/18 with 166, two touchdowns, and one pick, An impressive 114.6 Passer Rating. Carson Wentz Made His First Appearance Since Week Six. The Former Starter Author Am Eleven Play Drive 82 Yards Touchdown Drive Operating The Shotgun Like A "Hoopdie." He Finished 12/16 123 Yards Passing One Touchdown, A 117.5 In Two drives Of Work.

"Felt Weird For Me. Coming Off The Bench like That," Wentz Said After The Game. "new Experience For Me."

The Niners Were Plsyimg Soft Coverage, Clearly Think About Heading Home For The Holidays By The End Of The Quarter.

Rookie Jahan Dotson caught six Passes For 76 yards and a touchdown(He had One HUGE Drop To Start The Game). Dotson has Seven touchdowns On The Season. The Niners Are Who We Though They Were, A Great tea A Super Bowl Contender Who Doesn't Play With Its Food. At The End Of The Half Of This Game, Momentum Seem To Hang In The Balance Like A dangling Fruit Waiting To Satisfy The Hungry Desires Of Either Team, And The Niners Seized The Moment.

The commanders Haven't Won A Game In There Last Three, But There Status As A Playoff Contender Hasn't Changed Either.

"Nothing's changed; we're still in the same situation we were in going into this," Rivers said. "We control our own destiny. We win the next two, we give ourselves a chance, so that's up to us." (ESPN) Their Room For Error Shrinks considerably. They Need Two Wins To Secure The Spot.

Could Change Happened Elsewhere On The Team. I Still Think The Commanders Stick With Heinicke. Why Not? The Prepare To Face The Hapless Browns A Game Where The Margin of Error Doenst Get Bigger. Secure A Win There And Set Up A Season Defining Game Against The Cowboys, Who May Have Nothing To play For And Rest Their Starters, But The Cowboy's Backups Are Still Talented. But They Can't Look Pass The Browns. If The Commanders Want To Look At Another Potential Solution Long-Term Guy, The Jets May Have One Available.

The Niners Are Still In The Case For The 2nd Seed In The NFC, Which Guarantees at Atleast Two Weeks Of Home Game And Potentially A Third. If They Do, Some How Surpass Minnesota For The Two Seed They Also Avoid The Harsh Weather Of the Midwest. "We Have A lot Bigger Goals Than Winning This Game." Fred Warner, I like The Vikings in Any Case.

Jets Vs. Jaguars

"For any team to compete and make the playoffs, you need a franchise quarterback."

The Jets Are In The Battle For The Soul Of Gotham. Both Titular New York Football Teams Are Fighting Back Against the Dark Forces Of Ineptitude Pulling At Their Promising Start To The Season. The Jets Are fighting Bad Guys To Their Hopes, and In The Words Of Batman Himself:" In This Line Of Work, One Slip Is Too Many." For The Second Game In a Row, Zach Wilson Will Start For New York After His Unceremonious Benching. If The Jets Whats To Make A Hero Of Their Former Muse, The Offensive Brain Trust Will have To Lean Into More of What Wilson Does Best. He Breaks The Pocket, Scans Down Field, and Even With An Average Arm, He Can Sing High Notes Of The football Downfield. No More Playing On schedule Or Getting The Ball Into The Hands Of The "PlayMakers" Mike Lafleur Can Audition For A Larger Role With Another Team another Time. Lafleur came from the Shanahan Tree, Where Most Times, The System drives the quArterback And Not The Other Way Around. The Talent Which Made Him The number Two Pick Sprang On Number Of Occasions. Sure He Over Estimates That Talent, Especially His Arm Strength, but the Offensive Line Hasn't Helped Him, Or Mike White, For That Matter. The Technique Required For Blocking For A Mobile Is Different. The Jets O-Line Just Doesn't Have The Athleticism To Kick Inside And Outside Consistently. Wilson Plays Far Better When Kept Clean. He Can Make The Big Time Throw From Those Alternate Platforms. The Playmakers on The Outside Are Often More Concerned with Having Their Number.

The Moment Must Have Felt Cold, The Silence and Boisterous Disapproval Palpable Through The Wind Chill. Whatever Emotion Strong Enough To Pass Through Came Through Muffled, discordant, But No less Intoxicatingly Depressive.

After Thursday's Lost, The Jets Are In A Familiar Place. Any Chance To Join The Remaining AFC East Teams In The Playoff Race Dash. The Jets Only Have A 6% Chance Of Make The Playoff. Three Weeks ago, Robert Saleh Group Had A 70% Of Playing Further Into The Cold Season. The Jets Head Coach Voices his Disinterested In Addressing Playoffs. instead O

The Team Would Focus On Taking Each Week A Game By Game And Take Of Business In The Moment.

"the opportunity doesn't exist if we focus on our moment. … You got to focus on the process". Saleh

No One Could Deny That Freshly Felt Flavor Of Christmas Like Hope of The Jets Having A Winning Record This Late In The Season. He Intimated Playoff In A Press Conference after the Bills. He Put His Faith Into This Team, Making a PUSH For The Post Season A Vanish.

After last Night No More Playoffs, "Right now, it's not about playoffs. It's about getting off this mat and finding a way to create a football game." Saleh said.

Another Low Point For A Highly Touted Potential Franchise Quarterback Prospect.

Zach Wilson's 317 Passing Didn't Win Him Any Fans. He Missed A Few Throws That Could've Changed The Outcome, But Instead, the Critic Drove Deeper Over The Faults And Crack In His Command Of The Pocket That Remained Prevalent. Now His 90-Yard Performance Against the Jags With Season On The Line Only Converted More Supporters Into Detractors. Quarterbacks Are Judge By How They Perform With All The Chips Down, And Zach Wilson Continues To "Shrink" In Those Moments. A Big Reason Why Narrative Makers Write The Same Script, Spin The Same Through And Through. Wilson's Head Coach Controverted By Saying :

"You attack all of it exactly the same, but from a narrative standpoint, to try to attack a young man for four or five plays that are four or five teachable moments in my mind."

We need the big picture on it. That's all." Saleh Said After The New England Game, and They Hold proper Here. "It's Not About Pointing ago One Individual." The Jets Hae Put in Forty One Of The Meekest Rushing Attacks Since Week 11, Alarming The Backup Quarterback Chris Streveler Lead The The Jets In Rushing Against The Jags. He's Tallied 9 Carries and 54 Yards. Jets Running Back Zonovan lost 2 yards on six carries Against The Jags In The Wind and Bad weather. Streeveler Also Equalled Wilson In Yardage Despite Looking Completely Out Level Ina NFL Game. The Jags Played More Softer Coverages With The Game In 19-3, And Streveler Ran A Install More Harmonious With Zach Wilson's Skill Set.

I'm sure Mike Lafleur Would Want To Do More With His but The Offense Looked. The Blocking Look Futile as Jags Defenders Just Crash The Pocket. Wilson Didn't Help Himself, Just Sitting Back There Using 3.33 Seconds To Throw. How he Manage Over Three Sec. With Jets Crumble Of A Offensive Line. The Jets Need to Get More from Their Free Agent Signing CJ Uzomah, Or Last Year's Corey Davis. The Former Bengal Uzomah Had One Catch For Thirty Yards, and Davis, The Former Titan, had two Catches, Seven Targets, and 14 Yards. Garret Wilson, The Leading Candidate For Offensive Rookie Of The Year, didn't Win Routes (He Ran 39 Routes)Today In His Matchup With Tyson Campbell. For Thirty Yards, Garret Caught Four Passes(1 From Wilson, 3 From Streveler). Rather Than Point Zach, The Jet's offense Infrastructure Failed To Fulfill On A Promising Season. The Defense, As Stingy As Ever. The Jags Score 19 Points, Mostly Off Of Touchdowns. A Quin En Williams Sack Fumble Gifted The Jets Their Only Score. The Linebacking Group and The Sub Package Unit Had Trouble Defend Evan Engram And Keeping On The Always Deceptively Fast Trevor Lawrence. The Jags Offense Won over The Jets Defense.

The Number One Pick Beats The Number Two Pick.

The Lost Of A Promising Season Will Haunt The Jets. They Exceeded Expectations. The Jets Took Off Through A Looming Miasma Of Quarterback Questions and Answered With With Four bodies. The Jets Ultimate Stuck The FlighT Out But Couldn't Stick the Landing. Robert Saleh's Team Are Bound For Regression. Like The Cardinals Last Year, The Browns Two Prior, The Jets Of 2015, or The 2017 Jaguars. The Jets Can Get Mesmerized By The Optimistic Idea That Their Oly Needs Another Piece To Reach Their Goal.

Hey Fall Into The T Over Aggressive Trap, Al A Broncos, Without Really Looking At The Under-workings Of Why The Promising Start Ran Into Failure

On The Other Note, The 2022 Jaguars Are Surging. Robert Saleh Once Said, "Confidence Can Conquer The World" Surprisingly, He Spoke of The Jags, who have confidence and back-to-back wins. Trevor Had A Nice Game In Total, Throwing The Ball and Rushing The Ball. He Tallied 20/31 229 7 Carries 51 Rushing. This Win and The One Against the Cowboys Doesn't Happen Without Lawrence Stepping Up To The Challenge. He Needs To Protect The Ball Better. He's On Pace To Lead The League In Fumbles And Turnovers. He Fumbles Once On a Nice Sack By Quinn's Williams And Finished No Interceptions.

Panthers Vs. Lions

The Panthers Are One Team That Surprises Me When The Win Games. "We're always gonna be the underdogs, but we accept that," Shaq Thompson Told The Athletic.

During The Truncated Matt Rhule Portion Of The The Team's Season, The Offense Looked Handicap. The quarterbacks Couldn't String To Consecutive Completions. One the Worse Passing Games, Running Game, Nothing About The Team Look Progressive. Then The Organization Fire Matt Rhule and Trade Star RunningBack Christian McCaffrey In A Move that Signal Fire Sale and Rebuild. The Shuffled The Quarterback Position Starting By Moving On From Baker Mayfield. The Turnaround Started With The Panthers Getting More From Their Draft Class, Last Year's Draft. Cornerback Jaycee Horn(1st Round Pick,2021), Terrence Marshall(2nd Round Pick,2021), And Chubba Hubbard(4th Round Pick, 2021) Have All Stepped Up for Impressive Performances For Steve Wilkes and The Panthers On This Playoff Push. After Getting Virtually Nothing Out Of Terrence Marshall As a Rookie and Even Entertaining Trade requests But Marshall, The LSU product with Big Play Ability Down, Gives Sam Darnold A lot Of Real Estate To Loft Throws Down Field. The 6'2 200 Lbs Receiver Used To Catch Jump Balls From Joe Burrow, And That Skillset Finalising Begins To Translate To The Pros. The Panthers Run Game Made A Complete Show Of The Lions, and The Passing Kept The Panthers Ahead Of The Lions And The Chains. Terrence Marshall's Big Catch Netted 36 Yard To Set A Rushing Touchdown That Put The Panthers Up Two Scores Before The Half. Ahead Of The Game, The Lions Came In With The Vaunted Offense Coming off Three Game Winning Streak. "Staying Patience. Taking What The Defense Gives You." Sam Darnold. The Lions Gave Up A lot.

The Lions Are Fifth In Total Points Scored And Last In Points Allowed. The Panthers Struck At The Defense for 570(320 On The Ground)Yards Offense, 8.8 Per Play, and 11.4 A Pass. Sam Darnold Capture His third Win As The Panthers Starter, Going 15/22 250 Passing Yards and adding Six Carries And 19 Yards. A Masterful 121.4 Passer Rating. Chubba Hubbard and Foreman Took The Pile-driver To The Lions Defense. Hubbard Finished 12 Carrie's 126 On A Whopping 10.4 Per Carry, multiple Twenty Plus Yard Strikes. The Run Fits Button Just Wouldn't Work For Today. D'Onta Foreman, Whose Found New legs In Carolina, Finished With 21 Carries, 165 Yards 7.9 Per Rush, And One Touchdown. Donta Took The Rock To Lions "All Day." These Runs Were One Cut, And Big Tears Would Open. D'Onta Foreman's Performance, In Particular, Shouldn't Surprise Anyone; he Stepped In For Derrick Henry Last Season As A Member Of The Titans. His Directly Helped And Impacted The Titan's Bid To Earn The Number One Spot in The AFC With 566 Yards In Half A Season. When The Running Stepped Away From Blowing Holes In The Lions Defense, The Pass Game Had Just As Much Effectiveness.

The Lions Came Into The Final Three Weeks Of The Season As A "Feel Good" Story. An Offense That Could With A Few Reclamation Talents Of Their Own, But Their Achilles Heel, A Defense That's Improve But Caught Off Guard By The Left Hook Of The Panthers, Ready To Take Their Shot At The Playoffs.

Usually, A 355 Yard Game From Jared Goff Would Complete Matters For The Lions But Not Today. Goff continues To Look Improved As A Passer . all Three Of His Touchdown Passes Game Special Delivery Strikes To The Back Of The Endzone. I Miss Those Three Tight ends, Four Vertical Sets From The Lions Offense.

Another Contender Stepped Out Of The Shadow Of A Slow Start To Cease A Share Of The Playoff Odds Bye. Whoever wins Out Wins A Trip To Northern Cali Or Frigid Minnesota. According To The New York Times Simulator, the Commanders Have A 34% Chance, The Packers 29%, The Panthers 24% Lions 23%, The Seahawks, and The Saints 8%, To Make The Final Spot Of The Playoffs. Only Time Ann's Week Seventeen Can Tell.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Vs. Arizona Cardinals

For Tampa Bay On Sunday Night, Tom Brady figured He'd Throw To Anyone With Red On Their Jerseys. The Player, The Bucs Emblems, Would Catch The Ball Or lineup Probably, (I Mean, the Leadership /Coaching On This Team Sucks). The Defense Would Have To Win The Game. Facing a Third String Quarterback, A Coach On The Hot Seat, And A Team Hunting A Top Five, Scratch That, Top Three Pick. Stopping Them Shouldn't Pose A Problem, Right? Kliff Kingsbury Put On A Play Calling Poetry Class. Trace McSorley is Attacking The Middle Of The Bucs, End Arounds, aggressive Special Teams Fourth Down. Conversion. The Cardinals Didn't Arrive In The Desert In Arizona To Take Home A Participation Trophy; they Came To Win. The Injury To Kyler Murray Put Out The Last flickering Light Of Any Hope In This Season. Murray ACL Injury Report Didn't Return as Damning as Originally Suspected. Still, The Long Lasting Injurious Relationship Between the play-caller and the quarterback Remains A Tendered point Of Note. Kingsbury Showed that Umbrage Doesn't originate From Place anger He's Still One Of The Best Play Caller Offensive Game Planers In The League.

Kingsbury Didn't Change Much. A lot Of Five/Four Receiver Sets.

Trace McSorely Second Year Man Out Of Penn State, Nick Named, Doesn't Have The Talent Of Murray, But He Also Doesn't Bring That Offensive Upending Choas. He Followed His Reads. Made Some Throws Downfield He Finished With 7.9 Intended Air Yards Per Throw. Connecting Greg Dortch Tip Toe On A 17 Yard Third Down To Set Up A Field Goal Attempts. Field Goals became A Common Theme For Both teams, with Mad Putting Up the Field As a Representation Of Offense. But They Didn't Stop Big Plays. Like Trace McSorely Big Connection With Marquise Brown Down Field For 47 Yards.

Greg Dortch Lead The Team In Receiving 10 Catches For 98 Yards. Conspicuously Quiet DeAndre Hopkins, Just One Catch four Yards On Four Targets.

Brady Tried a Similar Pass And Got Pick Off. One Of His Two Turnovers These are Two Of The Fastest Teams In Term Of Pace Of Play And Play Calling; they Combine For 152 Plays Called. The Bucs Earned 5.1 Yards Per Play, and The Cardinals A Meager 4.4 Yards Per Play.

A stretch In The First Half, Both Traded Turnovers And Punts. The Second The Cardinals Would Pull Away In Their with The First Offensive Touchdown Of the Game On A James Conner 22 Yard Red Zone Rush. A Little James Conner Sighting 25 Carries, 79 Yards, 5.3 Per Carry.

Turnovers And Offensive Dissonance Slid The Bucs' Season Deeper Into The Coffin. Brady's First Interception Came Off An Poor Ball Placement Or Miscommunication With Mike Evans Near The Red Zone. So Many Of The Bucs Plays Have Went Array That this Season. Brady Identified The Coverage As Two Deep But Got Anxious and "Threw The Ball Early," Giving Marco Wilson And The Cardinals Secondary a Jump On The Pass. Both Of Brady's Picks Were Mike Evans's Targets, And Brady Had Little Success Going That Way. Brady Had Little Success With Julio Jones, Who Couldn't Make a Play On A Dime Pass From Brady On The Bucs First Drive. The Scars Of Miscommunication and, Ultimately, Mis OpportuniTies Dug Deep Indelibly Throughout The Game.

He Did, However, Find His RunningBacks. Leonard Fournette Had His First Good Game Since Week One, And Rachaad White, We'll Get To That Part.

Considering How The Bucs Moved The Ball Through Three Quarters, That Cardinal Touchdown All But Put The Game Out Of Reach Should have. According To Next Gen Stats, The Bucs Win Probability Fell To just 16% With almost A Full Quarter To Work With. The Meter Moved slightly Half Way Through The Fourth.

The Bucs responded, "I Think We're All Comfortable In Those." Tom Brady Said After The Game. "This Team Has A lot Of Resiliency. We Fight Hard." Brady's Shaken Off Two Interception Games Before, As In The Two Game Prior. Squatted At The Goal Line, Line Up Eleven Personal, Two By Two Formation On Third Down, The Cardinals Double Mike Evans Deep In The End zone. Leave Marco Wilson And Linebacker Zaven Collins To Split Zones. Why The Cardinals Didn't Double Rachaad White After He Caught a Game Winner Against The Saints Baffles Me. White Caught The Ball And Scored On Marco Wilson. Brady Continues His heightened Play Inside The 10; he's The Sixth Best Quarterback By Passer RAting With A Foor At The Door.

The Bucs would Get The Ball Back Off Of A Trace McSorely Fumble. The Cardinals Moved The Ball Effectively. The Play Calling In Close Out Period Might Have Been New To Them

A Botch Pitch On A Misdirection Gave The Bucs The And an Opportunity To Win The Game. Brady Almost Connected With Chris Godwin, The EndZONE but Credit The Cardinals Secondary For Not Falling asleep On The Old Man's Ability To Deliver Strikes. Godwin Finished 8 Catches For 63 Yards. He's Still Working His way Back From Injury.

The Bucs Running Backs Are Still Not Good At Working Blocks Upfield And Maneuvering Through Traffic. Once The Game Flipped To Over Time, Brady Took Over, Dispelling Any Narrative Of a Fall Off. The Bucs Offense Second Drive Of The Period, Bit By Bit. A Classic Game-Winning Drive Working The Buccaneers Into Field Goal Range. Brady Completed Five Straight Passes, Including A 23 Yarder To Russell Cage, And 3 First Downs Brady Had 15 Passing Touchdowns In Total. The Bucs Finished A Total Of 6/17 On Third Down. The Bucs Offense Can Only Play In Spurts. The Defense Will Have To Win Games Going forward and Into The Playoffs(That's If The Bucs Make The Playoff.) the Defense Generates No Pass Rush. Joe Troy Shoyinka, the Bucs Second-Year Edge Rusher Gets Washed Out By Tight Ends.

Ravens Vs. Falcons

Who Said Tyler Huntley Needed A Touchdown Pass To Win As A Quarterback Or To Represent The AFC As Pro Bowl Alternate. Who Said The Ravens Can't Score Without Their Franchise Guys Taking Drop back. The Ravens Scored 17 points to beat the Falcon, but those were hard-fought points. The Ravens Have Lost Games With Lamar When ScoRed Twice That Much. With Tyler Huntley Starting In Place These Plast Two Weeks, The Ravens have totaled 19 points. Touchdown Of Any Kind is Positive Indentations that Ravens Could Make The Contingent work. They Need To Going Forward.

Ugly Results Are Not A New Phenomena In Baltimore. Tyler Huntley Finished 9/17 with 115 Yard And One Touchdown. he Still Looks Stiff, Passing Like A Puppet On a String, Stiff, And RATTLINg. He's a Quarterback in Everything But Form. Only Two Of His Passed Were Directed to the Left Side Of The Field, And He Completed One Of Them. His Touchdown Pass, You Guessed On The Right Hand Side Of The To Demarcus Robinson.

Greg Roman Designs His Offenses For Running Quarterback's An Element Brings To The Table. Both Offenses Prefer Mobile Quarterbacks.

Despite Both Team Carrying a Reputation For Running, The Ravens Outmatch The Falcons On The Ground 184–115, To Which Huntley 26 Yards.

The Ravens Got Their Second Win Without Lamar Jackson, And It's A Feeling They Might Have To Let Grow On Them. A Story In The Washington Post Indicates That The Ravens and Star Quarterback Lamar Jackson Are Headed For A Split. The fifth year Of Jackson's Rookie Contract Comes To A Close At The End Of The Season. Yes, He's On His Rookie Deal. With Jackson, The Ravens, We're Never The Deftest Passing Attack.

He's One Of A Handful Of Full Time Starting Quarterback To Not Consistently Past Two Hundred Yards Passing Game To Game.

Meanwhile, the Falcons Are Getting A Head Start On The 2023 Training Camp Tryouts. The Former Top Ten Offense Has Hit A Slump. Arthur Smith Has Dozen Of Rookies Starting All Across The Roster, Including Quarterback Desmond Ridder, Wide Receiver Drake London and RunningBack Tyler Allgeier. Allegories Split Time In The Back But Coming off an Impressive career Game against the Saints, game He's Tallied 37carries and 213 In His Pass Two Games. Despite scoring Just, The Falcons Are Headed In The Right Direction, Backward.
