Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania Review.

Marvel Has Survived, or Manuevered Through, The Pitfalls Of The Company’s Own Negligence in The 2000s. Once The Blockbuster Films Took Off, Then Came The Seismic Shift In The way In Which Consumers Ingest Media. At The Heights Of Their success, Marvel Took A Few “Blasts” Of Criticism From Several “Film OGs”. Now At The Foot Of Phase Five,31 Films Deep, With Their Foot Print Well Placed On The Cultural Zeitgeist and In Their Mouth, Can Marvel Again Survive From Cannibalising Itself.

Superhero fatigue? The Trappings Of Success? Were Marvel Movies Ever Good To Begin? Phase Five Has Taken Off To A Less Than receptive Start. The Latest Ant-Man Installments Produced More Questions Than Answers Not About The Nature Of The Coming Multi-versal War But The CREATIVE direction Of The Content Itself.

I Have To Plainly Say I Found Ant-man And The Wasp: Quantumania A Live Action Disappointment. I Believe Everybody That's Reviewed That Over Indulgent CGI Feast Has Little else To Say About The Crash Landed Wreckage Of Hype The First Film Of Phase Five Turned Out. The Hype Felt All Too Real; I ran into a wall after following the Marvel Hype Train For The Last Time(Again). Someone At Marvel Dropped The Ball And Delivered A Missed opportunity.

Our Hero Our Protagonist Scott Lang(Paul Rudd), Has Taken Off With The Unmistaken Winds Of misidentifying Celebrity. He's Promoting A Book We've All Heard Something About, Getting Ant And Suffering from brighter star Of The Heroes Scott's Adventures Saved Most Famous His Insect Sibling Spider-Man.

Meanwhile, His Daughter And Father In Law Cassie Lang And Hank Pym, Master Of Pym Particles And Frugality Have Taken To The Task Of Poking Holes In Quantum realms. Teenagers And frugal Scientist Need something To Work Towards In Time Of Peace. With Very Little Reason Or Explanation Given, Pym And The Young Lang Create A Sonar To Signal To The Quantum Realm. The Studio Film Gives No Quick Montage Of The False Start, Fatal Mistakes, Or Notes or Technical Diagram For The Device Or Reasoning Works. The Group Of Scott, Janet, Hank, Hope, And Cassie Descend To The Basement. Where Cassie Built "The Machine" With Very Little Mechanical Experience In Back, But The Plot Demands The Machine Exist. I Know The Group Sent Scott Into The Quantum Realm. But Fives Past Since The Blip The Science Must Of Evolve, Some Remnants Of Failure Should Exist. I Don't Think Asking For A Little Logic From Marvel Fiction Feels Unrealistic Because Science Fiction Should Always Seek To Cross Between THE real And The Fantasy. Any Msn Pushes The Button On Fantasy To a Little Point Of Extreme. The Best Science Fiction Writers Know How To Build Paramecium Between The World Their Audience Knows and The World They Want the Audience Kidnap into. Other, Wise You're Dragging Your Audiences Like Hostages Who Already Paid For Your Near Two Hours Of Marvel. In No Time We're Privy To A Socially Aware Teenager Builds Her Way To A World Only Two Have Ever Escape From As Far We Know It. Suddenly We're Taken away Into Janet's Hysteria. Unbeknownst To Her Or Everyone Caught The Fever The For Quantum Realm. From Janet's Expression, The Subatomic Isn't A Place For Scientific Transcendence; Instead, It's A Place A Life; she's Fear Revisiting Ever Since She Escaped in Moments. The Film Moves.

The Quantum Parallax Machine Takes Off, And the "Heroes" Are Off To The Quantum Realm. How No One Bumps Into Any Of The D.E.B.R.I. Of Figures, Floating Amazes Me, But EveryOne Lands Safely In The Middle Of Nowhere, Briefly Safe. The Visionaries Of This Movie Sit in The Quantum Realm In The Backdrop. They Marketed The battle In. the Quantum As This Visually Striking Master Piece To Watch On The Big Screen— And The Place Visually Looked Stunning, Water And Flora—But They Never Explore The World Of Bring It To Life. The Quantum Realm Has No Value Outside Of The Fact It's A Place Where Another Superhero Mad Villain Can't Take Place in The Already Traumatized Earth 616. "You're Going To Watch This On A Large Screen." Director Peyton Reed Championed In A Brief Trailer. Of Course, Us Fans of "Drink The Ooze." He's Right Visually. This Movie Hits The Spot. You Can Feel The Star Wars Theme Permeating Throughout The Rivers And Trees. They Fail To Explore The World Much Further. They Give No Reason To Care About what Happens Here In The Quantum Because It's Just A Back Drop. The Gang Gets Split Up, and Cassie and Scott Meet Their First Envoy To The New Abode, an Underground Ameba Thing. Cassie breaks Out Her Super Suit Because Who Roaming Around The City Without One. Cassie Can't Get Caught Lacking Out Here As The Daughter Of Famous Avenger. With Scott and Cassie Under Attack, We Meet The "Resistance," A Band Of Quantum People With Unique Body Types and Powers That Are All Equal Parts Random And Plot Focus.

The Resisters Knows Lead By A Warrior Woman Jantora Seeks To Expel Kang From Their World But What Did Their World Look Like Before Kang Turned The Far Reaches Of The Quantum Realm Into A Metropolis. Jantora and The Resistance Lost Their People But No One Coming Back. Cassie Inspired On By Whatever Moves Teenagers To Take Action Believes In The Resistance's Cause; "Just Because It's Not Happening To You Doesn't Mean It's Not Happening."—Cassie Lang.

The Resistance Knows Janet Every Body Knows Janet, But Why That's Never Explored. She Spent Thirty Years Down There, maybe A Monument Beside Her Brief Dalliances With Quantum People. Ahead Of The Film's Release, Several Articles I Can't Name Right Now Sold Me On The Idea That The Quantum Realm mattered In the Grand Multiversal Saga; Instead, The Whole World Beneath Us was Just A Visual Replica Of Someone's Star Wars Fantasy. While Janet, Hank, And Hope Hi Jack A Shape Through The Quantum Nebula, Scott, And Cassie are Introduced To Their First Adversary M.O.D.O.K., which stands for "Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing" The Overly Devoted Disciple Who Gets No Respect Around Here. Spoiler alert For Anyone Who Hasn't Seen The Movie He Doesn't Make many killings Or "Ultimate" Weaponing.

The Stakes In The Marvel Movies Aren't Evolving With Times. Marvel Updated The Thanos Model From The Comics. Thanos He's Not The Nihilistic Lord From The Comics. He's Here To Help With His Special Brand Of Wisdom And Economics. Marvel Still Needs to Succeed Anywhere Near That Level Recently. Spider-Man Nowhere Home Start with Peter and His Friends Not Getting Accepted Into M.I.T. Thor Has To Save His Hero, Those Hedonistic, Squabbling gods, From Gorr, The god Butcher. Now We Save The Meaning of Less Resistance And Possibly The Forces Of Other Malevolent Kangs From Certain Destruction By Unraveling Kang Time Induce Imprisonment.

There Are Themes Of The Underworld Where So Many Heroes have Traveled To Bargain And Broker Deals. Similar To Greek Mythology, Biblical Narratives, and Even In Marvels Den Of Comics. Dr. Doom Famously Descends To The Depths To Bargain With Mesphito, Betrays Dr. Strange, And Fails To Bring Home His Lorn Loss Mother From Mesphito's Domain. Strange Also Descended To Deal With Darmarmoo In Time Twisty Tale In The First Strange Installments. Like Martin Sorcese Says In Critical Revealation: "What's not there is a revelation, mystery or genuine emotional danger. Nothing is at risk. They are sequels in name, but they are remakes in spirit..."

Marvel HAs Become More A Parody Of Itself Than A New Installment. The Writer For Marcel Doesn't explore The Concept The Introduce Beyond Reestablish The Guidelines Of How Those Concepts Work.

It's Strange That Kang Claim He Doesn't Know Ant-Man But Others Him A Deal If Ant-Man Can Retrieve The Device As If He Knows The Extent Of Ant-Man's Abilities. Kang Would've Known That Both He(Scott) And Cassie Could Shrink—From Darren Maybe—, Either One Would Work. Either Could Find Kangs Forceful Ways Of Persuasion convincing Of Just Taking The Seemingly Easy To Replicate Technology From Them Because Thats How Kang Achieves All Of His Goals.

Besides His Threats To Rid The Quantum World Of Life And Kill Cassie, Ir offers Kang Time Back Kang Has One More Trump Card. He Offfered Janet The Same Deal Some 30-40 Years Earlier, But Kang Adds To Scott's Motive. Kang Plays A Parallelism And Expansion; not Only Can He Give The Lang's Time Back, Kang He Knows How "All Of This," As He Says, Ends. Kang, In his Limited Omniscience, Has Traveled All The way To The End Of The Universe, In Hubris, Forgot To Check On His Fate. His arrogance That's A Difficult To Reconcile With Kang; he's Too Sure In How His Believes Will Play, So He Presses The Buttons That, In Turn, Work Against Him.

Kang Immediately Dismisses Scott As a Threat Because He's Killed So Many Avengers In Different Lives. He's All Too Willing To Give Scott The Controls To Change Their Fate Based On Promises And Threats That Put Him In That Position. If You're Not Absorb Into Comic Book Lore, Then Kang Doesn't Appear Like a foreboding Bad Guy. Jonathan Major Does Put On The Authoritarian Disposition But The Seriousness Of Kang As a Threat Feels Lost. Outside Of His Gentle Introduction With Janet And Her Uncovering Of His Past, Kang, He's Just A "Monster" A Destroyer Of Worlds Because That's Not Cliche, Worlds That had a hand in Creating, Changing, And Cratering.

If There Are Infinite Worlds Created When Kangs Travel Through Time(All Of Time) Which Is All They Do, A New Universe Forms Someone Always Around. A Conqueror Must Lest He Loses All Will and Reason For Existence.

Kang Sends ant Man To Retrieve The Multiverse Core Thingy, the MacGuffin, A Pointless Piece Of Metal And Transistor Only Needed To Push The Plot Of The Movie. No one Around Even Knows What It Looks Like. But Marvel Doesn't Stop At Artificial Literary Devices They Jump On The Borders Of Scientific "Mumbo Jumbo ."Any Quantum Physics Theories at Large Marvel Found Them. Time Dilating Ants Who Evolve In Years In Moments. Ants Who've Master The Art Of Socialism Because Although "Charged" Word That's A New Conversation to Introduce In The 21st Century. But Let's Not Get Way From The Fact That There Are Marching Ants With Advance Weaponry. We Get All Of This But No Character Development For Wasp Or Anybody Really. No Advancement Of The Multiverse Saga, Not One Incursion In Sight. The Entire Movie Serves to Introduce Kang. I Remember Marvel Giving Thanos This Level Of A Red Carpet. Though Kang And Even The Multiverse Will Control Most Of Marvel's Plot Lines, The Plot They Need to Introduce. Do You Need a Movie To Complete That Delivers The Revelation "I Am Kang."?

Even Jonathan Majors, The Core Selling Points Gets Collapse In The Mess Of Ideation And Fantasy. I Like Majors, But I Didn't Drink The Ooze On Him In This One, If You Get What I Mean. I Didn't Get The Sense That Anyone felt Out Of Their League Here.

Majors Did Great With What The Script Writers Gave Him But Until Universes Start Colliding And Collaging On Each Other, kangas Just A Name Sake. Kang, The Character, Beneath The Blue, Doesn't Get Driven Home In Ant-Man Or The Next Possibly Outing He's Just Touched On. At Some Marvel Needs To Resist The Temptation Of Focusing On What "This" (Enter Name Of Any Predated Phase Four Movie) Installments Sets Up And Focus On Making A Good Movie With Meaningful Pay Now. No Ants, Please.

Marvel Should Consider Advising Fans To Tuck Away Their Expectations Away As The Studio Works Through And Irons Out The Stages Of Their New Era As A Media Consortium Paragon. The Movie Earn A 47% Critical Score From Rotten Tomatoes Right In Line

With The Externals And In The Same Thor: Love And Thunder And Dr. Strange and The Multiverse Of a madness All Disappointments In Their Fashions. Antman And The Wasp: Quantumania Leave A Little Ant Size Trail Of Hype To Dragged Me Along for another Phase.

The World Has Evolved Around Marvel, And Marvel Has "Evolved" Along Side Marvel Both As A Reagent(Catalyst), A Force Molding The Entertainment Business, And Both An Object, A Mass Acted On And Molded By The Entertainment Business. Marvel's Place In The Entertainment Zeitgeist Remains Unquestioned Challengers Like DC Fight To Break Even Marvels Fights To Break Records. While Challenges Do You Remember When The First Avengers Move Gain Traction As An Ambitious Project? That's Minor Stuff Now.

So What's Wrong Why Can't Marvel Work With The "seismic shift" Already Taking Place In The Entertainment Industry? In his Book "What Got You Here won't Get You There." Author Marshall Goldsmith Lays Down A Few Principles About The Trappings Of Success. "…you might not be as good as you think you are. "we get positive reinforcement from our past successes. In a mental leap that's easy to justify, we think our past success predicts great things in our future." In A Odd Twist Of Fate Where Art Reflects Life, Marvel Might've Embarked On Their Future With The Successes Of Their Powering Them Into Their New Phases. What Brought Marvel To The Top Of The Entertainment Colossus won't Keep Them Seated Firmly. As Entertainment Continues To Shift And The Edifice Crumbles, Marvel Must evolve. The Trend On Super Hero Film Always Had A Short Lifetime Span Because, Honestly, Everything Gets "Played" Or "Tired" After Some Tome. What Studios Need To Apply To Change the Trends Comes From The Criticism Of Marvels Strongest Detractor, Martin Scorsese. When Scorsese's Loud Chime The Bass, despite your demonstrable success and laudable self-esteem, you might not be as good as you think you are. "we get positive reinforcement from our past successes… in a mental leap that's easy to justify, we think that our past success is predictive of great things in our future." I Can't Think Of A Better Way To Define Marvel Right Now. Still, The Underdog Risen To Champion is Now Only Coasting On Reputation Rather Than Any Good Heart Effort To Move The World. Every Company Including The Likes Of Apple has fallen Into The Continuous Growth Paradox Trap. Nothing Grows And Innovates Forever, But Even Without Innovation Simple Storytelling Will Go A Long away With Marvel.

Once Again, Like Too Many Times In Phase Four, Marvel Tries To Build A Big World And Meal Of An Event On A Flimsy Foil Of A Plot.

I Don't Think You Or Any Marvel Fan Should Hit The Panic Button Yet. Why Would You? They're Just Movies, and Marvel Has Produced Poor Material Before. The Movies Feel More Because We’ve Taking Off On This Long Ride With Marvel And These Characters.
