Quick Takes.

Seahawks Vs. Broncos

The Seahawks Finally Remember How To Play Offense In The Second Half Against The Broncos In Slow 26-20 In Seattle. This Game Started With an Interception By Geno Smith, And In The First Half, Both Offenses and Punters Suffered Through A lot of Leg Work. Geno Smith is 18/25 For 171 Passing Yards Touchdown, One Interception But Earn A Solid QBR Of 70.9 Because His Passes Added Value To The Team Winning. Bo Nix showed that Sean Payton would Enter The Season With The Rookie fully unleashed in Sean Payton’s offense with 42 attempts, the most of any rookie and third most of any passer from week one. Nix’s passes resulted in two turnovers and just 138 passing yards, which hampered the offense. Overall, Denver's defensive performance was solid.

I Love What Seattle’s Achieved In The Run Game, And If Kenneth Walker Can Stay Healthy, He’ll Prove He’s A Difference Maker In the Seattle Offense.

Commanders Vs. Bucs

Baker Mayfield Proved He’s More Than Just An Extension Of The Will Of Dave Canales and Fully Deserving Of That New Contract. Tampa’s Offense Belongs To The Former Number One  Pick. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Take Down The Commanders 37-20 Lead By Mayfield 24/30(80%)For 289 Passing Yards, Four Touchdowns, A QBr Of 86.1, and A 146.4, The Best Passing Performance Of Week One. Mike Evans Produced The Highlight Of The Game In the Receiving Game, Snagging In a Touchdown along The Boundary. Jayden Daniels didn’t excel in his first pro exhibition, but he looked like the most ready pro player in the Rookies, 17/24 for 184 passing yards, with a 98.1 passer rating. Daniels also led the team in rushing, with 16 carriers and 88 rushing yards, displaying the dual-threat talent that surfaced at LSU.

Colts Vs Texans

The AFC South Quarterback Matchup Fans Of The NFL Hoped To Watch Blossom Over The Next Decade. Anthony Richardson Put  On A Show In His Return To Football From A Shoulder Injury. Richardson Plays On The Extremes, And While His Efficiency Suffers, He Creates A Ton  Of Voltage In Excitement. Outside of The Big Plays, The 60 Yarder 57 The 54 Yarder, and The Explosive Runs, Richardson, Like Justin Fields Before Him, Fails In The Granular Parts Of The Game. Those Three Completions Counted For 171 Of Anthony Richardson's Passing Yards, And He Finished With 16.5 Intended Air Yards Per Pass. CJ Stroud Produced A Less Electric And More Efficient But Certainly Highlight Worthy 24/32 On Attempts For 234 Passing Yards, And The Over Powering Running Of Joe Mixon, 30 Carries for 159 Rushing Yards, Lead The Texans To The Division Win. Stroud had multiple potential interceptions called back due to penalties and produced two touchdowns, both of which Stefon Diggs Hauled In On His Houston debut. The Colts  Defensive Line Sacked Stroud Four Times and Generated A lot Of Pressure, But Indy’s Secondary, A Young and Inexperienced Unit that Suffered From Penalties and Missed Opportunities, Allowed Stroud To Produce A  115.9 Passer Rating and Gave Nico Collins 117 Yards On Just 6 Catches. The Colts Had Their Way With Houston’s Defense, Gaining A Robust Seven Yards Per Play, But Still Got  Out-Gained 417-303 In Total Yardage.

Browns Vs Cowboys

The Browns Don’t Need To Panic Just Yet, Yhe Offense Looked Like An Atrocity And Deshaun Lands At Center Of The Issue Eating Six Sacks, Finishing With A QBr Of 9.4 With 169 Yards Which Fell Right In Line Near The Quarterback Who Defeated Him. Cleveland Looked Ill-Prepared To Deal With The Threat Of The Cowboys' Defense and the Shear Speed Of The Cowboys' Pass Rush. Dak Prescott, The Newly Minted 60 Million Dollar Man, Didn’t Need To Perform His Pedigree As The Highest Paid In Terms Of Statistic For The Cowboys To Pull Away With The Convincing Win. The Cowboys have looked like the best team in football for a time, and the Browns have looked worse for wear. We’ve seen both teams shift to each extreme by the end of the season. I Don’t Think One Outside Of Maybe Tom Brady Would fare better Against The Intensity Of The Cowboy's Defense.

Miami Vs. Jacksonville

In The North Florida Versus South Florida Rivalry—If You Follow Social Media Then You’ve Heard That North Consist Of Real Floridians and South Florida Consist OF Just An Extension Of Cuba—The Dolphins Topple The Jags In A Matchup Of Two Explosive Passing Offenses. Trevor Lawrence Looked For A Moment To Regain His “Chosen One” Status After He Shot a Dime Of A Pass To Rookie Receiver Brian Thomas Jr. Still, Overall, Lawrence Suffered From Many of The Inconsistencies That Have Plagued Him In The Passing Game. Gabe Davis led the Jags In Receiving With 62 Yards. Tua Missed A Couple Of Big Plays Field, but The Dolphins' Explosive Play Continues With An 80 Yard Bomb from Tyreek Hill. Tua Crosses 300 Yards With 319, 23/37, 13.9 Per Completion, and 3 Sacks Taken, But The Dolphins Offense Played Lightly Conservative, Going Boundary To Boundary Rather Their Usual Vertical Attack. Dolphins runningback Devon Achane Produced A Couple Of Explosive Catch And Runs Out Of The Flat, Picking Up 7 Catches For 76 Yards; Achane Also Put Miami First Touchdown On The Board. Achane And Raheem Mostert, The Bulk Of The Dolphins Rushing Attack, Would  Suffer A Injury In This Game, A Continued Trend With The Two Backs.  The Jags Got Out To A 17-7 Lead and Nearly Put The Dolphins Away If Not For A Late  Fumble By Ettiene That Turned into A 80 Yard Touchdown From The Dolphins and A Kick Return fumble That Helped The Jags Lose This Game More The Dolphins Won. Of Course, Miami Would Have To Convert These Opportunities, But The Jags Could’ve Sealed This Win With Better Ball security.

Panthers Vs. Saints

Sunday proved that the Panthers can’t use Dave Canales as a cream; you rub on a quarterback to instantly improve a quarterback. Bryce Young Still Has A Long Way To Prove He’s An NFL-ready quarterback, And Working From The pocket won't Translate. Young May Prove The Last Of A Dying Breed Of  Shorter Quarterback Because  Below 6 Feet Hasn’t Work Out In The League. In game One, Young Completed Just 43.3% Of His Passes For 161 Passing Yards and Two interceptions. Young Stands Out Amongst Despite Amongst The Thorough of Quarterbacks With Something To Prove This Season. Derek Carr Has Something To Prove, And The Saint's Offense Came Out and Crushed The Panthers 47-10. Derek Carr Threw Three Touchdowns With a monster 142.5 Passer Rating, 200 Passing Yards, 82.6%, and A CPOE of 16.3. Carr looks like He Enjoyed The Game Of Football For The First Time, Tearing The Panthers' Defense To Ribbons. Only Time Will Tell If Carr Can Perform To This Level Throughout The Season Or If This Game Will Serve As A highlight To His Season Of Potential Drudgery For The Saints. For the Panthers, Young Looks Cooked as A Potential Starter. He hasn’t shown many flashes of a pro-level quarterback, but the Panthers own their first-round pick this year and have a few Tradeable assets. Only the coaching staff knows when or if the time will come to move on from Bryce Young.

Steelers Vs. Falcons

Justin Fields told the media that he always prepares as if he were the starter, and truthfully, he should have always had the honor of leading the Steelers and the offense. After Speculation And Reports All Week, The Steeler Announced That  Expected Starter Russell Wilson Would Miss The Season Opener Due To  A Lingering Calf Issue That Wilson Had battled at The Latter End Of Training Camp. Wilson won what most critics consider a forlorn quarterback situation in Pittsburgh, and it may be one of the worst in football. Both Wilson and Fields Found Themselves Ousted From Their Last Jobs unceremoniously, And While Wilson Brought A  Stronger Pedigree and a More Efficient Passer,   The 36-year-old Has Clearly Lost A Step the Steeler Should’ve Chosen The Volatile But Higher Upside  Player In Fields. Either Offense Puts The Steelers' Offense In a tenuous Spot, But Fields guarantee some HighlightS.  Fields Will Take The Field Against Atlanta, His Birth Team In Georgia; The Team Most Expected Him To Get Traded To In The Season, Though Nothing Ever Materialized.

The Falcons Would Move On To Sign Their 36-Year-Old In Kirk Cousins, And He’ll Lead The Falcons Under New Head Coach Raheem Morris. The Falcons Entered “Fraud Watch” at the end of the preseason, and there was a rough game for Kirk Cousins facing the Steelers' defense. The Cousins had a tough time. For some time, analysts wondered what the Falcons' offense would look like if Atlanta had a competent quarterback, but that was not what Atlanta got from the former Vikings' quarterback. From The First Drive, The Falcons Leaned In On The Run, With Bijan Robinson Getting  The First Three Offensive Snaps Of The Game. Of Course, The Falcons Would Turn The ball Over To Kirk Through The Air, And Kirk Would Link up With Kyle Pitts To Give Atlanta A 10-6 Lead Before The Half. From the First Half, Whenever The Steelers Forced Kirk To Come Off Of His First Read A Re-Lock,  He Throws A Pick. On Both interceptions, Kirk Had To Reset His Feet And Redeliver The Ball. In The Second, The Offensive Worse For Atlanta Got No Better. First, Cousins Suffered  Sack-Fumble, Only Adding His Turnover Woes That Would Mount To Three Turnovers  By Game End. Cousins finished 16/26, 155 Passing Yards, One Touchdown, Two Interception And a Passer Rating of 59.0. The Falcons Receivers Didn’t Show Much Chemistry With Kirk, Kyle Pitts Has A Tendency To Disappear, But Drake London Vanished, and Bijan Robinson Became The Team Most Consistent Pass Catcher, Going 5 For 5 On Catches For 43 Receiving And  Adding 68 Rushing Yards For 18, Carries.  Justin Showed A lot Of What We Know Of Him As A Quarterback. He’s Still A Bootleg Specialist, A Great and A Great Deep Ball Passer, And He Always Has So Those Big Plays To George Pickens Of 41 Yards and Another Of 28 yards, But He Missed Some “Gimme” Throws HERE and There, And The Steelers Offense Would Settle For six Field Goals. Fields Finished the Game 17/23 For A Light 156 Passing. Fields Passing Chart Exposed His Ideal Avoidance Of Passing Over The Middle; not One Of His Passing Attempts Darted Over The Middle; That Portion Of The Field Looked Like Holy Ground. The Dynamic Between Field And Russell Wilson Going Forward Will Draw Interest  All Season. Russ will get healthy and regain his position as the top quarterback option for the Steelers, but the field will gain valuable knowledge From the Great Wilson. Week One Doesn’t Hold Too Much Weight In The Grand Scheme Of The Full Five Month, 18 Week Season, So The Falcons Still Have Room to Grow. The Falcons Defense Held The Steelers To Six Field Goals(Or Maybe  You Could Say The Steelers Failed To Convert) And The Falcons Still Have Upside.
