NFL Week Five TakeAways

Bengals Vs. Cardinals

The Bengals Got A Big Win This Sunday, And Yes, The 1-4 Cardinals Expected To Tank Cardinals, Counts As A Big Win In This NFL Climate. The Birds Play "Testy" (?) And The Bengals Continue To Face Doubters Because They're The 0-2 Bounce Back Period And Now Find Themselves In The Negative Zone Before This Game. Bengals'sJamar Chase Found His Pleas To Get Him The Ball Did Not Fall On Death Ears. The Bengals' Offense Ran An Obnoxious 79 Plays, Targeting Jamar 19. He Came Away with 15 Catches, a 78.95 Catch Percentage, 192 Yards, and A Vintage Breakout Performance. He's Always Open If you Believe, and on Sunday, He Proved Joe Burrow's Faith Real And Needed A big Game To Put This Much-needed Win. Away. A Game That Started Neck And Neck, That The Bengals Pulled Away With A Bigger Lead Late And Kept The Lead. The Cardinals Offense Never Let Up. Those Little Pigmy Receivers, Rondale Moore, Who generated 76 Yards From Scrimmage, And Hollywood Brown, Who Caught A Touchdown And led The Team In Receiving 4 Catches And 61 Yards, Create Space With Their Size With Ease Against Larger Defenders and Don't Go Down On The First Tackle Attempt. The Bengals Defense Force Three Turnovers Of Josh Doubs. Not The Best Game Of Doubs, 15/32 For 166 Yards two Touchdowns.

Joe Burrow Bounced Back 36/46 317, Three Touchdown, One Interception, And a 108.1 Passer Rating. The Bengals Started 1-3 Not Exactly, 0-2 But Still A Workable Record to Bounce Back From.

Dolphins Vs. Giants

The Dolphins' Speed On Offense Can't Fly Under The Radar Every Week The Legs Of Devon Achane, Tyreek Hill, And Jaylin Waddle Create Fractures, Chain Reactions And Ripples That Cause Innumerable Problems. Devon Achane's 76 Yards, 21 MPH Run Doesn't Just Happen Because His Speed Alone. The Giants' Defense Doesn't Represent The Sound Principles Of Defense Principals. Nevertheless, They're Pros. The Dolphins Presses The Secondary So Great That No Come Down To Stress The Run Fits, A Staple Of Strong Defenses. The Giants Lack The Talent Along The Defensive Line AND have To Play Deep To Avoid Getting Gashed By fast Guys Like Devon Achane. The Dolphins Came In Expecting To Win, Expecting To Run The Drake And Have Their Way With Giants Today, But The Dolphins Have Their First Big Bounce Back Game After Looking Contained Against The Bills. After the Spinning Off Course, the Dolphins Got Back On Track. Tyreek Hill He's Unchallenged In His Ability to Create Angles And Trigonometry Out Of Dust. When Hill Catches A Screen Pass From Tua And Breaks the Field For 69 Yards, Hill Not only Reaches 22 Miles Per Hour, He Also Stresses The Angle Of At Least Five Giants Defenders Who Have Him Cornered. Most NFL Defenses Possess Few Options When Attempting To Slow Down Tyreek In Those Situations. With All The Speed On The Field, The Dolphins Cruise To Victory Over The Giants. Tyreek Hill, Who Fell Off The Path Of A Record-Setting Season, Went Nuclear 8 Catches For 181 Receiving Yards And One Touchdown.TUa Completed The Team's Other Receiving Touchdown, which Went To Jaylin Waddle, who is Still Return From Injury But made an excellent Jump Ball Mid Air Adjustment Catch On Tua Pass. Waddle Nabbed 5 Catches For 35 Yards, And He's The Most Complete Receiver On The Dolphins's Roster Because He's More Than Speed. He's Most Athletic As Vert And Hang Time, Which Opens Up His Catch Radius Wider Than The Other Dolphins. Waddle's Produced 15.8 EPA This Season. So Far, The Dolphins Still Look Like a Dominant Passing Attack.

Once The Chains Get Loose On Their Offense, Opponents Will Have A Long Day On Their Hands, As The Giants Knew And Recognized. However, These Dolphins Have A Super-linear Team, One Dimensional Team. The Explosive Runs Look Good On The Stat Sheet Can The Offensive Lock Consistently To Close Out A Game. At One Point In The Third, Devon Achane Had Passed Over 120 Yards On Just Six Carries With A Full Fourth Quarter to Good; Thats Production won't Carry Over to Each Game, And Neither Will The Dolphins Video Game Production.

Tua Finished 22/30 308 with two Interceptions(Against The Giants, No Less), Two Touchdowns, And A Passer Rating Of 100.4. Light Work Efficient For The MVP Front Runner Tua But Would I Trust Him Yo Win A Shootout With Patrick Mahomes Even With The Chiefs Offense Showing Signs Of Dust, No. Tua Threw Two Picks, One Return For 102 Yards On Bad Read, With The Dolphins Trying To Move Too Fast.

I Have To Mention The Giants Because They showed up in a Short Week To Face The Shearers Of The Dolphins. The Giants Left The Game With The Lost And A Field Of Wasted Offensive Line Dreams. The Dolphins Sack Giants 7 Times, And The Dolphins Came Into This Game Just Decent In Pass Rush, But They Ate.

Jags Vs. Bills

"Take nothing on its looks; take everything on evidence. There's no better rule."

― Charles Dickens, Great Expectations

This Weekend In London, Looking To Return To The Western Hemisphere With Two Wins Across The Atlantic, The Jags Face Two Of Football's Most Formidable Forces, The Best Team In The League, The Bills, And Expectations. Yes, Expectations of Those Dazzlingly Coveted Jewels That Look Resplendent Around The Neck Of Those Who Manage Their Expectations With Elegance, Tip Toeing The Line Of The Team's Desired Outcome With Each Eager Footfalls. Those Jewels Also Insult The Visage Of An Unfaithful Bearer.

We Accept Expectations Because Expectations Have Power, "High expectations encourage you to keep reaching and fulfill your potential."

Every NFL Team Has Preseason Expectations That, Depending On The Degree Either, Even The Worse Team Expects To Produce Something Of The Game. Teams Have To Manage Not Only The Organization Expectations, League Expectations And Player Expectations. Expectations Tend To Get Out Of Hand. Trevor Lawrence Has To Face Expectations For The Jags Offense That's Still Waiting For Launch. Some Analysts Have Argued That Lawrence Has Regressed; I Don't See His Game Deflating Anyway, The Clemson Product Has Looked Good For Stretches And "Sketchy" For Other Stretches. He's a Strider As A Runner, Like A Horse; Lawrence's Legs And Hips Change Direction With The Grace Of A Golf car or a BattleShip; He's Nowhere Near The Agile Like A Deer Athlete We Thought Coming Out Of Clemson. On Sunday, Lawrence's Legs, The Explosive Ability Of Travis Ettiene, The Jags' unsung Top Ten Defense, And The Bills' Josh Allen's Inscrutable, Unconscionable Ability To "Believe" He Can Make Any Throw In Football Put The Jags Over Bills In London. After Almost Three-Quarters Of Football, The Jags And The Bills Found Themselves Lock In A Defensive Scrum. The Bills Punted four Straight Times To Open The Game And Only Generated More Than 20 Yards Once Before Scoring A Touchdown Late In The 2nd Quarter. The Bills' Run Game That Looked Robust These Past Two Week Found The Run Haps Deflated In Front Of The Jags Front. James Cook, The Bills Starter, Coming Off Of A Good Game Against The Dolphins, Got Taken Down In Backfield On Multiple Occasion and Finished With -4 Yards On The Day. The Jags Finished With Three Tackles For Loss, Two Of Which Counted Against Cook, And Held The Bills Running Game To Just 29 Yards, Including 14 From Josh Allen. The Jags Defense Made Of Big Plays On Allen To Seal The Win. The Bills' Passing Attack Touched Up The Jag Pass Pretty. Allen Produced A Game Winning Stat Line Of 27/40 For 359 Yards, Two Touchdowns, And One Interception of 102 Passer Rating, But Those Connections Came "Sporadically." Allen Struggled To String Together Multiple Completions Successively. Whenever The Bills Offense Fails To Blend In The Game With The Pass, Whether With Quarterback Scrambles Or Designed Run Game, Josh Allen Turns Into Lobo, He Tries The Win, And Things Get Reckless Haywire. With The Bills Driving, Coming Off Of An Impressive Passing Touchdown Two Drives Earlier

And A Jaguars Turnover, Josh Allen Tries A Deep Pass Some 40 Plus Yard on Third Down (Remember His Monologue From Week One About The Same Mistakes) Targeting Stefon Diggs. "Learn From And Move On," Josh Allen Said After The Game." We didn't Put Up Our Best Stuff They Did."

Allen Always Wants To Gives His Play Makers A Chance. The Bills Trailed Just Four Points, And The Defense Delivered A Sack To Trevor Lawrence. The Jags' Offense needs five Plays To Cross 75 and two Plays Of 30 30-plus yards To Put The Bills Down Three Scores And Wrap Up The Game. The Bills Responded Quickly, 45 Seconds, To Put A Touchdown On The Board and The Stymied The Jags Hopes Of Running Out The Clock. Darius Williams Jags Corner Who Snatch Allen's Pass Out Of The Air Covering Stefon Diggs, Stuck This Time Forcing A Fumble. This Season, The Jags Have Struggled To Get Travis Ettiene, One Of The League's Most Explosive Players, Going Consistently. He Notched His First 100 Game Of The Season. Ettiene's Two-Second Half Touchdown Seal The Win Against Buffalo. He Generated 184 Scrimmage Yards, 5.2 Per Run, And 12.0 Yards Per Receptions. Trevor Lawrence Threw For 315 On 25/37, one Touchdown, And A 67.6 Completion Percentage. 102.9 Passer Rating And Ate Five Sacks But Avoided Many More With His Legs. Lawrence Fumbled Twice, So The Jags Didn't Win The Turnover Battle, But The Jags featured the More Balanced Offensive Attack, Called Nearly 30 More Plays, and Controlled The Clock By 17 Minutes. Josh Allen Met The Other Josh Allen Once In The Backfield, But The Sack Turned Into A Penalty After Allen Hit The Other Allen In The Head—the Jags Secure A Crucial Win In Their Quest To Retake Control Over The AFC South.

Bears Vs. Commanders

The Bears And The Commanders Couldn't Have Met At A Better Time For A Prime Time Game. The Bears Just Lost A Close Time Game To The Broncos (So, The Commanders To The Eagles), And Right Now, They Generate A Talking Point With Every Step They Take. The Bears Remain Without A Win On The Season, And That's Not What Anyone Expected. Truthfully, Nothing About The Bears Look Like What Anyone. In 2023, Chicago's Hosting Their Version Of The "Fyre" Festival instead Of An Offense That Highlights Feilds's Special Abilities And Accentuates Everyone Body On The Team. With No Wins To Claim And The Panthers Also Struggling To Control Games Wire Wire This Off-season, The Bears Will Look At The Possibility Of Holding Two First Round Picks. Double The Opportunity For Franchise Changing Double Or Another Opportunity For Screwing The Fan Base—the Team's Abject Failure Of A Trade To Acquire Chase Claypool Last Season From The Steelers. Since Coming Over From The Bears, Claypool Has Regressed As A Receiver, And Worse, He Showed Flashes Of Promise, But what's Worse, The Bears Essentially Traded A Round Pick For Young, 32 picks in Last Year's Draft. The Bears Could've Put That Pick Towards Anything, Offensive Line, Corner Or Even A Wide Receiver. Instead, The Pick Represents A 6'4, 240-pound Disgruntled and Ineffective Wide Receiver. Justin Fields's Big Game Against The League's Worse Defense Counts For A lot; He Could've Terrible Instead He Hoisted One Of The Best Passing Stats Of The Weekend. This Off-season, Bear GM Ryan Poles Wanted "to expedite the development of 24-year-old quarterback Justin Fields" Or At Least Expose Whether The Kid Could Lead The Team To Winning, So they traded For Number One Wide Receiver DJ Moore, whom Carolina Fortuitously Forfeited For The Number One Pick; Fortuitous For The Bears. So Far, DJ Moore Has Quietly, Because Of Everything Else Happening In Chicago, Ranked Fourth In Receiving Yards, Generating a 158.3 Passer Rating(Best In The League), And All We Focus On is the Negative. The Bears Respond To All Of The Spiraling Reports Of Matt Eberflus's Demise, The City Serving As A Grace Yard To Wide Receivers(We'll Dust Away The Evidence Of Chase Claypool And Darnell Mooney's Career) And The Gaseous Claim That The Bears "Don't Know How To Win." Moore Knew How To Win. He Took His Opposing Corners To Tour In The First. The Bears, Continuing From Their Denver Disruption Of Their Early Season Play, Put Up 300 Plus Yards On The Commanders. The Bears Offense Scores On The First Drive Still Showed Signs Of Struggle The Bears Offense Struggle.

Justin Fields Started The Game Missing A Pass Deep, The Run Gained Only 1 Yard, And Fields Took A Sack All In The First Six Plays Of The Game. But Their Justin Connected With Two Passes For DJ Moore For 78 Receiving Yards. Justin Fields Has Always Excelled At Deep Passes Going Back To His Ohio State Day, and these Pass Two games represented a Return To that Style Of Play. DJ Moore Finished The Game With An Average Targeted Yards Of 13.4, But Moore Just Got Things Started With Those Two Big Plays. The Bears' Defense, That Gave Up 311 And 24 Points To Broncos, Held The Commanders To Just 49 Yards In Washington's First Four Drives, A Couple Three And Outs, One Interception And and Field. The Defense Played At The Same Level As The Offense In The First Half. Fields And The Offense Carried Over From The Broncos Games. For Some Reason, The Commanders Decided Not To Double Cover DJ Moore. Maybe They Didn't Know The Statistics, Or in a Short Week, They Didn't Perform Much Film Study—Fields Hit Moore In The Corner Of The Endzone For Another Explosive Play On the Drive. Maybe The Mind Meld Took Some Time, But Right Now, DJ Moore And Justin Have Something Going, Moore Caught 8 Catches For 230 Receiving Yards. The Former Panther Moore Now Has 16 Catches For 361 Receiving Yards to Chicago Seal Off Their First Win. With The Bears Up Three, Coach Matt Eberflus Implored His Team To Stay "Focused" up 27-3, Only allowed The Commanders To Tear The Bears Wall Down.

The Commanders Enter Second Looking To Make A Run Of Things. At One Point, Sam Howell Completed 16 Straight In The Second Half. Falling Four Scores So Early Took The Commanders Away From Their Blended Offense Of Pass and Run First Touchdown When Tight End Logan Thomas Caught A Jump Ball From Sam Howell In The Endzone And Almost Made A Game Of The Matchup And A Bears Collapse Eminent. Washington Had The More Decorated Team, And The Defensive Line Made Plays But Not Enough Impact To Change The Tide Of The Game In Washington's Favors. Unlike Chicago, The Commanders Didnt Have A Go to Force All Game. Howell Completed Passes To 11 Receivers, Logan Thomas Caught 9 Passes For 77 Yards. With so Much Of The Offense Leaning, Howell Again Marches Up The Ladder in Sacks By Eating Five From The Weakest Pass Rush In The NFL In The Bears. However, He Threw For 37/51 388 And led the Team In Rushing With 19 Yards, Two Touchdowns, And Only Pick. Washington pushed the Eagles Into Overtime And Pushed The Win In Philly, Only To show versus The Worse Team And lose by 20. Every Watch Almost Pensively Expect The Bears To Play The Role Of A Bad Team And Collapse And Give Away A Win To The Better Team. "Everybody Kept Their Composure. Everybody kept Their Head Down And Kept Working," Justin Fields Said After The Game. Fields Only Completed 15 Pass, Half Of Howell's Passes, But He Registered A Passer Rating Of 125.3, 4 Touchdowns and 282 Yards, 9.7 Per Attempt,14.5 Passing EPA(The Unexpected Point). The Commanders Secondary Couldn't Cover An Extra Plate At The Family Thanksgiving. The Commanders Pulled The Game Within Ten Late In The Fourth Before DJ Moore, On His Own, Put Another On The Score Board.

At The Game's End, Reporters Pointed Fingers At The commander's woeful Defense. The Bears Didn't Punt In The First; They Secondary Neglected The Basics Of Tackling, And Points Continue To Leak Out In Rivets. "Sometimes it's Missed Opportunities." commanders Head Coach Ron Rivera said. "There's Reason Why Things Happen, And We Have To Look At Those Things And Correct." The Narrative Before The Game Started With Matt Eberflus's Status As Head Coach And For This Week He's Solid, But We Have To Speak About Ron Rivers's Status from now on. He Won't Survive Into Next Season Losing These Games. I Still Don't Believe Howell's Prove He's A Starting Level Quarterback, But The Commander O Line Needs To Upgrade. In Cant Name A Bears, Yet Howell Took Five Sacks And Had To Scramble Multiple Times. The Defense For Washington Hasn't Improved. As a matter Of Fact, For All The Money And The six first-round picks Invested In That Of The Ball, They've regressed Outside, And The Massive Gashes In The Secondary Take The Blame.

Vikings Vs Chiefs

The Ref Picked Up The Laundry On The Field And Deemed The Late Pass Interference Call 'Null And Void,' And Kirk Has To Put A Better Ball In Play. Nevertheless, I Disagreed, And If Patrick Mahomes Made that Pass Targeting Travis Kelce, I Think They Get That Call. Jordan Addison Could've Made A Better Play At The Ball, And that's The Story Of The Day For The Vikings Offense, the Play Makers Fading "In And Out" Of Engagement On Plays. What In The World Did KJ Osborn Have His Eyes On When He Made The Vikings' Biggest Play Of a 27-Yard Reception? Osborn Left at Least 15 Yards On The Field By Not Turning Up Field And Running Vertical Instead Of Horizontal. TJ Hockenson Possesses Too Much Size And Talent To Let That Many Contested Catchable Passes Glide Off Of His Hand. With No Taylor Swift In The Stands, Kirk Cousins Did Everything In Their Ability To Save The Vikings Another One Score Loss Or At Least To Set Them Up For One. The Vikings Suffered Unacceptable Drops, The Brief Pause We Had With Last Week Of The Vikings Run Game Underperforming Ended, and We Returned The Aerial Heroics Of Kevin O'Connell's Offense. Alexander Mattison, 8 Carries 26 Yards. Justin Jefferson Versus One Of The Better Defenses In The League, One Of The Better Coverage Groups, His Worse Game Of The Year, Three Catches, 28 A Couple Of Drops Left The Game Late With A Hamstring Injury(Hate Those Injuries).

Meanwhile, Kirk Used 50 Plus Drop; He Turned His Affections To Rookie Jordan Addison 6 Catches For 64 Yards. Addison Played Like A pro, But He's A Little Too Small And "Unadorned" For The Number One Receiver. He Doesn't Get Open Easily, He's Not Long Or Twitchy, He's Technical But Average. I'm Not Saying TJ Hockenson player Poorly, But I Understand Why The Lions Moved On From Him And Gifted Him To A Division Rival. Of Course, The Chiefs Had Something To Do With Vikings Lost. Brian Flores, The Vikings Offensive Coordinator, Tried To Blitz Patrick Mahomes, Which Tends Not To Work, But Tonight's Blitzing Surely Didn't Work: "He[Flores] Zero Blitz PAt Put It[The Ball]Up And Watson Made A Ball Up." Andy Reid said. The Chiefs Gain Key Big Plays Off Blitz, Several of them with a Big Jump Ball And A Reviewed Sideline Catch, Especially Justin Watson. "I put It Up For J Wat To Make A Play For Me, and He Made The Play." Patrick Mahomes Said, "… I'm Going To Keep Firing It To Them." Watson Caught Two Passes For 56 Yards, Both Big Conversion Plays That Dislodge The Passing Game. Patrick Mahomes Finished With A Completed Air Yards Of 4.2 On His Away To an efficient 31/41 Completions For 281 Yards, Two Touchdowns, And A Passer Rating of 109.9. I Like Isiah Pacheco. The Former Seventh Round Pick Only Finished With 55 Yards, But He Runs With Such Force He Broke Or Drove Through Numerous Tackles. Turnovers Again cost the Vikings. On The First Play Of the Game, Tight End Josh Oliver Fumbles The Ball On A Catch And Run. The Vikings Kept The Ball Safe The Rest Of The Way, But it was all The Chiefs Needed To Ice This One 27-20.

Ravens Vs. Steelers

Two Offensive Coordinators Whose Names Matchup From Two Varying Polar Directions Meet Up On Sunday In Pittsburgh. Matt Canada Continues To Generate Buzz For The Wrong Reasons. As The Football General Public, We've Entered The Third Year Of The Fire Matt Canada Movement That Now Has A Large Enough Voice To Move Their Proclamation Into The Senate. On The Ravens's Side, Todd Monken Has Lamar Jackson Looking Revived. Heading Into Week Five, The Ravens Now Own Sole Possession Of The AFC North, And The Offense Played well but Not Their Best Bute. Who Can Argue With The Results. the Lamar Jackson Lead Hosted 28 On Cleveland's Defense That Looked "Invincible" To That Point In The Season. Everything Starts With Jackson, Who Looks The Closest To MVP Action Jackson Since 2019. Lamar's Posting The Second Best Passer Rating Of His Career Thus Far. Todd Monken And Lamar Have The Ravens at the top of The NFL In the Red Zone Offense, And Lamar Himself Has Rushed For 4 zone touchdowns. But The Ravens Face Familiar Foes, And I Don't Speak Of The Steelers. Lamar Leads Quarterbacks In Designed Runs And Rushing Yard And The Second Best Completion Percentage Of Any Quarterback With At Least 100 Passing Attempts. He's Ranks Eighth Amongst Quarterback In Third Down. On Sunday Against A Raging Steelers Defense, The Ravens' Ref Zone And Third Down Offense Failed Them On Several Occasions. Turnovers, Drops, Miss-Execution: The Ravens Suffered Them All But Most Prominently, TJ Watt And The Steelers Defensive Line. Jackson Got The Ravens Offense Going With A Big Design Run And A Miscommunication With His Receiver That Ultimately Ended A Drive; Some Things That Would Continue To Plague The Ravens As The Game Progressed. The Ravens Would Put Away Their Inauspicious Start, But Jackson Started The Game 1/4 On (Zay Flowers Stuff A Drop In On Lamar's Stats ) Passes On The Ravens First Drive and Just Struggled Tremendously To Handle The Ball All Shane. He Finished With A -5.2 On Expected Completion Differential. Still, The Ravens Would Continue to Attack The Ground And Through The Air With Jackson And Justice Hill And Jump Out To A 7-0 Start, Which was 10-0 After The Ravens Dominated Time Possession. Even With No Greg Roman, The Ravens Still Play With A Slower Pace. The Ravens Exhausted 15 Plays To Gain 64 But Ended With A Field Goal After Rashod Bateman Dropped an endzone Pass. Jackson Started The Drive Strong, Going 3/3 27 Yards He Hit Mark Andrews With A Beautiful Ball On A Crossing, Click His Feet Together, And Skits Pass a Few Defenders. The Matt Canada Offense Got On The Wrong Foot Completely. With Kenny Pickett Only Narrowly Escaping The Inactive Lost This Canada Emphasized The Run Early To Little Avail. They produced One First Down Then A Punt. The Steelers Would Rummage Through A Few Drives Before They Put Up Three Points. The Only Viable Sign Of Offense, The Steelers, Preserved A 21 Yard Catch From Pickett To George Pickens, And That Works Because I Couldn't Tell You Where Kenny Pickett Placed His Aim On Most Of His Throws Against The Steelers. His Throws Were Either Too High or Way Out Of Bounds.

The Second Pickett To Pickens Would Define The Game. The Steelers Punch In A Field Gail Off Of A Forced Fumble By The Defense, And Thankfully So Because After The First Half, A Defensive Struggle Ensued And I Mean Ensued. The Ravens Had A Good Drive Going Before The Half. Lamar Complted a Couple Of Nice Throws, But The Ravens Could Stop The Drops, And in an Act of Fear Or Greed, The Ravens Turned What Looked Like A Sure Three Points And Instead Went For The Fourth Down Conversion And Failed. Lamar's Connection With Zay Flowers Remains The Team's Only Consistent Bright Spot on The Ravens's Offense. Flowers Caught 5 Passes Out Of His 11 Targets, Most Of Which Came Down Field, For 73 Yards. Flowers's 5/11 Isn't Especially Great When You Consider How Many Great Balls Lamar Put On Him And Mark Andrews.

The Ravens Would Have Served Themselves Well To Grab Those Three Points Because The Only Point The Ravens Generated In The Second Half Went To The Steelers—the Drops Along With The Steelers Defensive Prowess. The Steelers Defense Started Closing Those Rushing Lanes. The Ravens Had 100 Before The Half but Only 25 After The Break. The Steelers Meanwhile Found Themselves Forced To Pass, And Even Kenny Pickett Throwing Inaccurate Passes Into The Dirt, George Pickens Got Hot On The Boundary. Pickens Caught Several Big Passes Along The Boundary. Somehow, The Ravens Trusted Their Corners One On One with One Of The Best Premier Outside Talents. With The Way The Steelers passed The Ball Today, Maybe man Coverage Had Justification, But The Steelers Turned Things Out In The final Ten Minutes Of The Game. The Special Teams Generated A Safety. Steelers Linebacker Kwon Alexander Forced A Couple Of Impressive and Crucial Stops. The Former Niner Finished With 6 Tackles, 1 Sack, And 3 TFLs In A Complete Performance. TJ Watt Added Two Sacks, But Rookie Joey Porter Made The Play To Save The Game. After a Special Teams Fumble Put The Ravens At The Foot Of The End zone on And Goal, Lamar floated a Pass In the Direction Of OBJ, And Porter Jr. took The Ball Away With The Steelers Down Just Two Points. "I was Just Trying To Give my Boy a Shot," Lamar Said After The Game. "We just Got To Get In Sync." Lamar can't attempt That Throw In That Situation. A 31-year-old OBJ wouldn't make That Play.

You Know Who Will Make That Play George Pickens, Eight Plays Later The Steelers Find The Endzone. Trailing For the First Time All Game, The Ravens Began To Drive, But A Force Sack Fumble By Alex Highsmith helped The Steelers Put This Most Unlikeliest Of Wins Away. After Playing An ugly Game For Kenny Pickett, 18/32(That's Under 60%) Attempts, 228 Passing Yards, One Touchdown And an 88.5 Passer Rating, But He Makes Enough Plays not to lose Crucial Games Like The One's Late. "We Had Them Beat". Lamar said. Virtually, Yes, The Ravens Had The Steelers Won Even By Win Probability, But The Two Late Turnovers Changed The Outcome.

Lions Vs. panthers

This Battle Of Big Cats Could've Produce So Many Nature Or Jungle Narratives If The Panthers Weren't So Terrible.

I Want To Watch The Lions Intent During The Mid Season Stretch. Detroit's Celebrated Offense Will Get Jameson Williams Back At Receiver and His Gambit Of Talents Has To Fit in With Everything Else The Lions Have Working On Offense, Whether We're Talking The Heavy Run Game, Jahmyr Gibbs Duel Threat Capabilities, Amon-ra St.Brown, Rookie Tight End Sam Laporta Who, LaPorta Who Looks Like One Of The Best Tight Ends Of The Early Season With The Iowa Stamp Of Approval. LaPorta Has The Most Receptions By A Rookie Tight End Through His, For Tight Ends Most Receiving

The Lions drafted Williams in the Top 15 A Year Ago. The Alabama Product With Loads Of Upside Has Missed So Much Time Between Suspensions/Injuries, And The Lions Have Found Success Without Predominately For Almost A Full Season Of Game.

Jared Goff Continues To Play Above His 'Reputation' Almost To The Dismay Of Critics. The Former number-one pick Hasn't Blown The League Out Of The Water, But He's Proficient Enough To Lead The Lions To The NFC's Top If Only He And His Team Believe.

"Don't Care" Goff "They'll Always Be Some. Ignore Them All And Try To Get Better." "We have To Try San Take [The Game]One Play At A Time." Goff's Stats Put Him On the Fringe Of Too Ten; His Pedigree As A Quarterback Puts Him Over the Top. Bryce Young Finally Had a Game Statistical. While Not Without Blemishes— Highlighted By That Impressive Read And Snatch Interception By Lions's Defensive End Aidan Hutchinson—He Passed For More 205 Yards And Gained More Passing Yards Than His Opponents. An Article In The Washington Post This Week Suggested That The Panthers(amongst Other Teams, The Cardinal) Have Suffered "some buyer's remorse" After Trading To Draft Young Who Up To Hasn't Completed 50% Of His Passes. The Post Alone Hasn't Questioned Young's Station Number. The Ringers' Ben Solar Also Pointed Out How Young's Height Limits Or Hinders The Upside Of The Panthers' Offense. Young Took The Blame For The Two Interceptions, "That On Me," He Said After The Game. Young Complied His Turnover With A Weak Tackle Attempt That Left Him On His Belly, Grabbing At The Wind.

The positives were 25/41, Three Touchdowns For 247, And Two "Big Time Throws," According To PFF. I Could Tell By Young's Demeanor On The Podium He's Not Comfortable With Losing. Young Talks Under His Breath Like A Kid Forced To Read His Report In Front Of The Class, But He And The Panthers Will Get Comfortable, A Lot of Losing Coming Their Way.

"No One Wants To Be Here[0-5]" Young Added. Young's Not At Alabama Or Mater Dei Anymore, He's Playing With The Big Boys.

This One Against The Lions A 42-24 Barn Burner. The Lions's Rookie Tight End Sam La Porta Had A Big Game. Jared Goff Only Needed 20 Completions To Register Three Passing Touchdowns, Two To La Porta. "Jared Put It On Me Quick, And I Just Plucked It Out Of The Air," La Porta Said, Describing The Transition Between His First To His Second Touchdown.

Goff Finished 20/28 with 236 Yards, 8.4 Yards Per Throw A 132.4 Passer Rating. The Lions Offense Didn't Need Goff Much; David Montgomery Ran All Over The Panthers. Montgomery Put Forth Another Big Game with 19 Carries For 109, 5.7 Per Carry, and One Touchdown. Craig Reynolds Added Seven Carries For 52, 7.2 Yards Per Carry, And A Couple Of Explosive Runs To Lead The Lions To A 4-1 Record. The Lions Handled The Panthers As Expected...

Eagles Vs. rams

The Rams Found Another Diamond In The Rough. When You Have 14 Picks Starting In The Middle Rounds And A Roster Gutted By Throwing Proper Cap Practices, The Emergence Of Talents Like Puka Nacua Has To Feel Like A God Send, A Redeemer. Beyond The Fact, Nacua Stands Second In The League In Receiving Yards, And His Jump Right Out Of The Gate In Week One 10 Catches 119 Receiving Yard Serve As An Introduction To Casual Fans Of His Work. Last Week, Nacua Hit The Colt's Secondary For A Career High, And In A Year When A 35-year-old Matthew Stafford Looks Like A 33-year-old Matthew, All Of The Offensive Buzz Surrounds Nacua. He's Become The Go-To Offensive Chain Mover For Sean McVay's Reinvented Offense. The BYU Product Doesn't Stand Out In The Way Traditional Rookie Sensation Have In The Past. He's Not Fast Or Physically Imposing, And He Doesn't Cause Collision Between Defenders Because Of His Shiftiness. He's dangly, Almost Kevin Durant, Like With Limbs Everywhere. With Cooper Kupp Back, The Rams' Former Best Diamond In The Rough, The Offense Featured The Former Super Bowl MVP Offense. Kupp Stole The Scene And Nacua's Spot At The Slot Early, But He And Puka Took In 23 Of Matthew Stafford's 37 Targets. Perhaps The Eagles Forgot How Cooper Kupp Plays Giving Sunday Served As His Season Debut. Kupp Cooked The Eagles On Inside Routes Over The Middle. But The Eagles' Defensive Line Got Down to The Crux Of The Problem By Sumptuous Pressure To The Pocket Of Matthew Stafford. Stafford Got A lot Of Passes Off With His flexible Arm Angles And Spry Moment. The Eagles Rookie Jalen Carter Demands Two Blocks Every Pass Rush.

Carter Still Collected Two Two QB Hits and Multiple Pressures.

Stafford Still Posted Two Passing Touchdowns on The Eagles Secondary Connecting With Nacua For Touchdown On A Dime Over James Bradberry. Nacua Caught 7 Balls For 71 Yards, One Touchdown. Cooper Kupp Caught 8 Passes For 118 Receiving Yards In His Return To Football. The Eagles' Defense Left The Rams Stuck Stalled Out At 14 Points, And A Sack From Hasson Riddick Crush The Rams Finals Drive Of The Game.

Today, The Eagles Offense Proved Too Much For The Rams Defense. A Slow Offensive Start To The Season Marked By Frustration, Visible and Quantifiable Depression The Eagles Offense Took Off. Jalen Hurt Got Into The Swing Of Things, Starting The Game 6/7 On Passing Attempts. He Connected With Dallas Goedert Over The Middle Of The Endzone. Jalen Hurts And The Eagles Can Score Touchdowns Without The "Tush Push. The Eagles Would Into The Endzone Again Off Of The Strength Of The Pass Game. AJ Brown, Who Notched Another Big Game, 6 Catches For 127 Receiving Yards, Force A Pass Interference Call That Up, Of Course, a 'Tush Push.' The Eagles Won 23-14. "This Is Results Based Business. Nobody Cares How You Do It. They Want To See Whether You Win Or Lose." Hurt Had One Of His Best All-Around Passing Games, 25/38 Attempts, 308 Passing yards, and 72 Yards On The Ground.

Some People Care, And I Don't Know How Long The Tush Rush Dominant Goal Line And Short Yardage Situation.
