NFL Week Seven Takeaways.

Quickies

Chiefs Vs 49ers

On A Sunday That Featured Some Massive Matchups the Super Bowl rematch Flew Under The Radar. Both Quarterbacks Who Enter The Season In The MVP Conversation Struggled, Combining For Five Interceptions Total But The Chiefs Made The Necessary Plays. If Patrick Mahomes Arm Didn’t Work He’d Use His Legs In The Red Zone, Completing Trucking A Defender For A Touchdown. He also Dodges A Couple Of Would Tacklers Along The Sideline And He Made Enough Plays In the Passing Game To Give The Chiefs The Win.  Patrick Mahomes is 16/27 For 154 Yards Passing and a Passer Rating Of 44.4 But A QBr Of 80.4 With Two Interceptions To Lead The Chiefs To The 28-18 Victory.  The 49ers Lost Brandon Aiyuk In This Game. Brock Purdy Also Rushed For A Touchdown But His Passes Made  Up For  The Three Interceptions Thrown In This Game, Two Of Which The Chiefs Capitalized on two Of The Interception. Brock Purdy 17/31 For 212 Passing Yards and A rushing Touchdown.

Falcons Vs. Seahawk

The Falcons and Seahawks Fly Into Week Seven On Two Two Different  Tail Winds. The Falcons Took Over First Place In The NFC South And Now Have A Three-Game Win Streak and The Early Quizicalness Of Kirk Cousins First Few Games At the Helm has disappeared And The Falcons Have Looked Like a Dangerous Offense. The Seahawks Have Lost Three Straight After Starter 3-0 But The NFC West Remains Wide Open. The Seahawks'Offense Has The Personnel For This Matchup Outside Of Pass Protection The Offense Remains A Trusted Resource For The Team Averaging Nearly 400 Yards A Game Good Enough For Seventh In The League.

The Falcons Offense Flew Into Seattle Riding High Before Slowly Descending Back Down To Earth Scoring Just 14 Points As The Seahawks Offense Simply Over Powered Atlanta For a 34-14 Victory. Kirk Cousins Threw Two Interceptions and The Falcons didn’t Take The Seahawk Trap. DK Metcalf Hauled In A Big Performance With 4 Catches For 99 Yards and One Touchdown. Running back Kenneth Walker Got Seattle On The Boards Early andHe Finished With 14 Carries For 69 Rushing Yards. Geno Smith Piloted The Offense Taking Advantage Of Atlanta’s Soft Zone Going 18/28 207 Passing Yards, Two Touchdown 110.3 Passer Rating. With The Win Seattle Retakes First Place In The Division Over The 49ers Who Took The “L” To the Chiefs. Bijan Robinson Played Some Inspiring Ball For The Falcons 21 Carries For 103 And One Touchdown On The Ground. The Falcons'Offense Lost A Full -20.15 EPA On Turnovers Thanks To Cousins Throwing Two Picks and Losing One Fumble.  Micheal Penix Jr. Made His Debut For The Falcons Completing One Pass For 14 Yards.

Patriots Vs Jaguars

One Of The Jaguars Or The Patriots Saw Their Second Win Of The Season In Sight. If We Judged The Patriots Based On the Forst Five Weeks Of The Season The Jags Should Post Their Second Win Of The Season With EaseEven With One Of The Worse Defenses In Football The Jags Offense Should Easily Exploit The Patriots defense. The Patriots Had One Of The Worse Third Offenses Under Brissett Giving Opponents A lot T Of Chances To Attack But Drake Maye The Patriots HAVE Fired a Better  Sustaining Drive. The Patriots Got Their First Opening Drive Score Of The Season. Thanks To Maye’s Guiding Hand The Patriots Would Take A 10 Point First Quarter Lead With Maye Throwing For Over 104 Yards A lot Of Which Came After The Catch Including A 16 Yard Touchdown For Jamycal Heasty which Ended A 11 Play 68 Yard Drive. By the Start Of The Second Quarter, The Jags Would Get On The Board And Would Run Off Three Straight Touchdowns Starting With Trevor Lawrence Hitting Brian Thomas For A 6 six-yard touchdown. The Lawrence-Thomas Connection Would Strike Again On The Following Jags Drive As Lawrence Connects with Brian Thomas For 58 Yards Tank Bigby Would Cap Off  The Drive Three Straight Runs And Touchdown And The Jags Would Steal The Lead Back. After Three Plays And A Penalty, The Patriots Punt And Second Year Receiver Parker Washington Would Get Involved In The Scoring With 96 96-yard Punt Return and The Jags Would Take A 22-10 Lead into Halftime. QThe Jags Overcame The Patriots’s Defense As Drake Maye’s Hot Hand Slowed Down. The Patriot's Defense Just couldn'tGet Off The Field And The Jags Offense Amassed Big Drives that Ate up Time Despite Several Third Down StopOpportunities. So Far Jerod Mayo remains A Mix Bag As Coach. This Patriots Team with similar Players Finished Top Ten In Defense But This Unit Ranks Near The Bottom as The Jags Put Together an 11 Minute Drive In The Second Half That Yields No Points But Eats Time. Maye Has  Proved A Revelation Late. He’s Accurate So That Even When Defenders Make Plays, Or A Ball Falls Incomplete The Pass Still Ferries Into The Right Space. Maye Would Author The Patriot's Second Touchdown Drive In The Fourth Quarter On A Massive 32 Yard Pass Play To Hunter Henry Placing The Patriots at Mid Field. Maye Would Connect With Kayshon Boutte For 33 Yards SettingThe Patriots Up For A 22 22-yard touchdown Pass To KJ Osborn. Maye Put Together Three Explosive Passes(Not In A Row) To Cut The Lead To Nine Points In The Fourth After A Failed.

The Patriots Would Fail To score Again. The Jag's offense Continued To Dominate Of Possession. The Patriots Would Get One Last Shot To Cut the Lead But A Turnover On Downs Would Hand The Jags The Ball In ThePatriots Red zone For Another Score and The Jags Take The Game 32-16. Lawrence Finished With a Pedestrian Number Overall Just 15/20 For 193 But A Passer Rating of 121.5. Tank Bigby 25 Carries For 118 Rushing Yards, 4.5 Per Carry, and Two Touchdowns. Rookie Receiver Brian Thomas 5 For 5 On Catches For 89 Yards and One Touchdown. Even With The Win I Still Believe The Jags Fire Doug Pederson The Team Still  Feels Underwhelming Overall And Turnaround Doesn’t Seem to coming.

Drake Maye Look Solid For Three Drives he Finished 26/37 For 267 Passing Yards and Two Touchdowns, Passer Rating of 109.7. He Also Leads The Patriots In Rushing For 18 Yards But The Team Overall Averaged 2.5 Yards Per Carry Making The Patriots One Dimensional Offensively. The Patriot's Defense Committed A Couple Of Penalties that Made Getting Off The Field Hard.

Vikings Vs. Lions

Only The Vikings Dont Realize That Maybe They Shouldn’t  Have The Acclaim As The Best Team in Football. The Vikings Had Every Excuse To Enter The Season As A Middling Team In Their Division. The Lions have Super Bowl Aspirations The Packers Made The Playoffs and The Bears Collected Some Of The Best Offensive Talent In Football In The Offseason Not To Mention a Generational Quarterback  The Vikings Signed A Once Thought Of Generational Quarterback Fallen Into Disrepair But He’s Proven His Blue Chip Qualities Haven’t Faded.

The Vikings Offense Started This Game Against the Lions Successfully. Darnold Didn’t Suffer His First Incompletion Until early In The Second Quarter as The Vikings Offense Score The First Ten Of The Game Unanswered And The Lions Offense Looked Shaken Up By The Early Lost Of Running Back David Montgomery. The Vikings' Offense Had Opportunities To stretch The lead After AARON jones Put The Vikings On The Board with A 34 34-yard run After The Lion's offense Gave The Vikings a Favorable Field Position on a Failed Fake Punt.   The Detroit Offense WOULD struggle Early Just 16 Yards In Their First THREE drives. The Lions Offense Would Shake Off The Early and Score 14 Unanswered Through The Second Quarter And The Vikings Are Behind For One Of Just A Handful Of Drives This Season.

The Vikings' Offense and The Lions' Offense both Help The Kick Start After A Slow start Of The Game TheVikings' Next Two After The 10-0 Start Produced Multiple procedural Penalties That Would Suffocate And Stymie Multiple Drives.

A lot Of Motion And Positioning Penalties You Wouldn’t Expect From One Of The League's Best Offenses.Darnold Also gets Picked Off Trying To Hit A Crossing Route Over the Lions’s Safety Brain Branch. Branch Just Jumps the Route And The Lions Offense Knows What To Do.

Goff Would Start A Perfect 12/12 Before The end Of The Second Quarter. The Lions' Scoring Started with the Run Game Jahmyr Gibbs For 45 Yards. Gibbs Would Pick Up His  Second Touchdown Later In The Second Quarter On An 8 Yard Run Up The Middle

Off Of A

Minnesota Touchdown.

A Touchdown Pass From Goff To Amon-Ra St.Brown For 35  That Put The Lions' Second Touchdown On The Board. Justin Jefferson, The Samson Of The NFL The Lion Killer, Would Get The Vikings Back on The Board In The Second Half to Cut The Lead Back To A Single Score of 21-17. The Lions Had No Trouble Responding JaredGoff Would Throw His First Incompletion In The Third Quarter But That Wouldn’t Stop Him From Completing Some Massive Connections One To  Tim Patrick for 22 Yards On 3rd And 6 and 21 Yard Catch And Run To Khalid Raymond For The Lions 28-17 Lead Ahead Of The Fourth Quarter. The Vikings Would Outscore The Lions In The Fourth Quarter.

Darnold Would Get The Vikings Two Straight Field Goals on Back To back-to-back drives.

The Detroit Offense Slash The Vikings For Four Straight Possession And  The Vikings' Defense Can Get Cut Up But Make Plays. Lions Running Back David Montgomery Fighting For Extra Yards Would Have The Ball Stripes From Him By Josh Metellus And Picked Up By Line backer Ivan Pace Jr Who Returns The Ball For Six Points. The Vikings Needed A Two-Point Conversion To Give Them A Three-Point Lead But The Offense Failed To Produce And The Lions Got Another Shot. On The Next Drive, The Lions Punted But The Vikings Couldn’t Pick Up Another First Down To Help End The Game. Jared Goff With 17 Game-Winning Drive Under His Belt Rallies His Team For A Field Goal Winning Drive. The Vikings Defense Despite Blitzing Goff Over 50% Of The Didn’tGet Enough Pressure On Goff To Protect The Late Lead And Goff Handle The Blitz Like an MVP On His Way To Finishing The Game 22/25 For 280, 11.2 Per Attempt with Two Touchdowns And A Passer Rating Of 140.0. Jahmyr Gibbs 15 Carries For 116 Rushing Yards and One Touchdown. The Lions Offense Again Just Made Plays When Plays. The Defenses And Turnovers Forced The Lions Off Of An 11 Point Lead Twice. Amon-Ra St. Brown 8 Catches 112 Receiving Yards and A Big 14 Yard Catch That Set Up The Game Winning Field Goal. The Play Calling On Both Sides Served Of Game

served Today and The Lions Consistent Run Game Made The Difference Just Having Two Getters at The Position. The Victory Would Catapulted Either Quarterback To The Top Of The MVP Rankings.

Sam Darnold Finished 22/27 259 Passing Yards one Touchdown, One Interception 103.5 Passer Rating. Aaron Jones 14 Carries 93 yards. Justin Jefferson Didn’t Obliterate    The Lions But 7 Catches For 81 And A Touchdowns. Jalen Nailor Has Come Along Strong, The Michigan State Product Caught Four Passes For 76 yards. Part Two For These Team Might Prove Even More Climatic.

Texans Vs Green Bay

The Texans Enter Week Seven(7) With A 5-1 second-best record By Win Percentage(Both KC and Houston Have Five Wins)  Behind The Undefeated Chiefs and By Most Projections And Predictive Expectations, The Texans Have Earned This Spot Building Off Of Last Season’s Playoff Run Performance. Somehow The Texans Haven’tGiven That Aura Of A Top Team In The AFC To This Point. Houston Boosts the Lowest Point Differentials of Any Winning Team In The AFC(+8) with  The Broncos and Chargers Coming In Ahead Of Them. CJ Stroud Remains One The Best Quarterbacks In The League But He’s Shown Flashes Of Lapses  Indicated By The Rise In Interception Rate This Season And Turnover Plays Remain At The Same Level(2.8 Up From 2.7) He Struggled Against Tougher Opponents In Buffalo(4.8) And

Indianapolis(7.5) That Leaves Some Questions About The Ceiling Of This Texans’s Team. Stroud's Increased Confidence Has Lead To Him Attempting Throws He Generally Felt Cautious About Last Season. The Packers’sSecondary Has Feasted On Wayward Passing As They Lead The League In Total Turnovers With 17 and 9 interceptions. Stroud Indeed Had A Tough Game, with Only 44 Passing Yards In The First Half, easily Out-dueled By  Jordan Love In The First Half. Love Connected Two First Half Touchdowns, One Touchdown A Laser To Tight End Tucker Kraft In The Back Of The End zone To Score Green Bay’s First Touchdown.  The Packers Converted Their Red Zone Attempts But The Confidence Can Betray Jordan's Love And Lead To  An Interception That Put The Texans Ahead Before The Half. A Muffed Punt By The Packers Also set The Texans In The Red zone where Joe Mixon Convert a two-yard Touchdown And With A Struggling Offense Houston Capitalized On The Packers Early. Witnessing One Offense Eclipse Another Offense But Still, Find Themselves Down Looked Strange. Jordan Love Would Get The Pack back On The Board In The Second Half. On The Packers' First, Josh Jacobs Would Carry The Offense Out Of The Half With a big 27 27-yard run Before Connecting With Love For an 8-yard Touchdown Putting The Packed Ahead In The Second Half 21-19. The Two Offense Would Generate Two Field Goal In The Fourth Quarter With the Packers Getting The Last Strike And Winning 24-22. The Packers Pick Up A Big Not Always Perfect Win. The Golden Arm Of Jordan Love  Delivers Late Leading The Packers To A Game Winning Field Drive After The Offense Struggled After The Initial Touchdown Out Of The Halftime.

Browns Vs. Bengals

Both The Browns And The Bengals Seasons Rested On This Game On Sunday. Truthfully I wouldn't Bet On Either Team Right The Ship and Turn The Season But One of These Teams Will Snatch A Much-needed Win. The Browns Just Traded Amadi Cooper But Will Get Nick Chubb Back This Game. Right Now The Browns Rank Amongst The Worst Teams In Run Blocking(30th In Run Block Win Rate) The Bengals On The Other End Have One Of The Worst Rush  Defenses—playing The Ravens This Season Didn’t help— In Football But No One Knows To what Extent The Browns Intent To Use Nick Chubb In His Return. A few Years Ago Deshaun Watson Posed A similar Threat In The Game As Jackson If You Only Started Watching Watson On The Browns You Probably Couldn’t Imagine He Could Escape Traffic In The Pocket And Make Big Plays With His Legs But Thats How far he had fallen As Talent. To Many Watson Looks  Like The Outmoded Version Of A Speedster Racer CarA More Visual Or Aesthetic( Or Less arthritic In Watson’s Case)   Version Of Lost Capability.

Watson Started To Rush For Extra Yards This Game But Went Down With what The Football News World reported As An Achilles Injury. Returning From Injury Nick Chubb Got The Browns On The Board Before The Half In His Return To action after Knee Surgery Last Season. The Defenses In This Game Control This Game. The Bengals got On The Board First With a Kickoff Return For a Touchdown By Charlie Jones. Jones Would Travel 96 yards To Give The Bengals the Score But The Bengals Offense Would Struggle Against A Browns Defense Regaining Their Pedigree. Joe Burrow Entered The Week With The Most  EPA Produced In Football ButThe Bengals Couldn’t Sustain Drives. The Bengals Crossed Mid-Field Just Once In The First Half And that Drive Ended With a Penalty And A Punt. The Bengals Offense Wouldn’t Find The End Zone Until Midway Through The Third Quarter. Burrow Connects With Jamar Chase To Get The Bengals First Offensive Touchdown On The Board. Burrow Would Hook Up With Tee Higgins in The Third Quarter And The Bengals Would Escape This Punt Fest With The 21-14 Win. After Deshaun Went Down Dorian Thompson-Robinson Took But He Too Threw Two Interceptions Before Jamie’s Winston Took Over. Winston Threw A Touchdown In the Back Of The End Zone. The Three Browns Passers Amassed 259 Passing, One Touchdown And a 64.3 Passer Rating Mostly Brought Down By Robinson Who Finished with A 19.8 Passer Rating. Nick Chubb 11 Carries For 22 Yards Not Great ButHe’s Back On Football Field. The Bengals Offense Looked Good In Streaks This Game. Cincy Failed To Capitalize On Either One Of Thompson Robinson’s Turnovers and Got Two successful drives All Game. Joe Burrow Finished 15/25 For 181 Passing Yards, Two Touchdown, 108.9 Passer Rating. Ted Higgins Caught Four(4) Passes for 82 yards Jamar Chase Added 5 Catches For 55 Yards and That Brilliant Back Shoulder Ball For Joe Burrow For A Touchdown. This Win Doesn’t Save The Bengals' Season As The Road To Climb In The AFC Looks All But Closed Off For A 2-5 Team But Anything’s Possible. The Browns run On Playoff Appearances End For Them As Well, The loss of Watson For The Season Marks Another Disappointing Ledger In Lost Hope For A Franchise Long Seeking Such A Player Of What We Saw Of Watson. We Can Assume His Football Tenure With The Browns Ends Here With Watson Falling To Ground. If The Browns' Season Ended And With Gods The Monstrous Disaster Of Deshaun Watson’s Contract The Team Needs To Start A Fire Sale Making Everyone Available including Edge Rusher Myles Garrett. The Team Will Need A Hard Reset After The Ramifications Of Deshaun’sCap Hit And He’s Got Clear Prime Value They No Longer Need To Waste On A Non-Contending Team. Denzel Ward might Prove Harder To Eject Because He’s Not Playing Up To Par From His Contract Year. The Browns Went Aggressive And The Move Didn’t Pan Out, Time To Move On.

Saints Vs Broncos

This Saints Broncos Matchup Had Some Hype Behind The Game Heading Into Week Seven But That Excitement Has Died Off. Sure We Get To See Sean Payton Face Off Against His Old Team But With The Saint's Offense Tail spinning Into The Ground In Recent Weeks As A plane With Its  Wings Shot Off The Most Popular Point About The Saints Has Waned. The Broncos Defense Matching Up With Saints NASCAR Receivers Generated Some Buzz That’s Off To As The Saints Lose Both Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed To Injury. Fans Didn’t Get The Benefit Of Derek Carr Doing Derek Carr Things But Spencer Rattler Gets His Second Run Against A Tough Broncos Defense. This Had All The Makings Of A Rock Fight Between These Two Offenses With The Saints Always Loving A Good “SlobberKnocker”. The Bronco's defense without a pass rush of note led the League in pressure, and they're doing this with mostly unheralded guys like John Franklyn Myers, Nik Binitto, Zach Allen, and Jonathan Cooper. The Saints Haven’t Won A Game In Four Weeks, The Worse Streak In Football.

Spencer Rattler And Bo Nix The Two Quarterbacks Taken After Each Other In The Draft Share A similar skill set. Both Like To Move Around, and Both Escape Pressure But have shown Exceptional Touch When exploring The Advanced Game like Throwing Receivers Open Or Throwing To Open Receivers At Times.

“He [Bo NIX] Did Everything Right He Just Missed The Open Receiver,” Said Kirk Herbstriet On The Broad Cast. Those Words Of The Broadcast Sum Up Both Rattler And Nix Both Quarterbacks Found Successes On Different  Levels Of The Field But The Sometimes Simple Hindered Their Elevation. Nix Missed Two Open Receivers Once During The First Drive Of The Game Nix Dumps A Ball Between Two Pass Catchers Where Either One  Could’ve Converted Into New Downs. On The Broncos' Field Goal Drive Nix Throws A Pass At The Feet Of His Open Tight If He Completed The Pass The Broncos Would Have Gotten New Downs Within The Five Yard Line With a Goal Gain instead The Broncos Settle of a Field Goal. Rattler's Incompletions Had Less Theatrics And More Haplessness. Nix Would String Together Enough Completion To Lead The Broncos To A Touchdown and A Two Score Lead By Half Time. Javonte Williams would run for a five-yard touchdown after Bo Nix set the Broncos up near the goal line. A big 30-yard play set the Broncos up in the red zone where Williams converted the try. The Saints Defense Little Answers For Nix Who Combine His Rushing Effort With His Passing Efforts To Create Conflict For Saints Defenders, Nix Himself Held Back The Denver Offense At Times. While Nix Limited His Offense Rattler Showed His Limitation As A Passer Excelling At Passing On The Move, On Rollouts, andFavoring Half Field Reads Rather than Operating Pocket. Coming Out Of The Second Half The Saints Struggled To Move The Ball Just Two Yards In Their First 6 Plays And Even When The

saints Started To Get A Drive Going Penalties and That Vaunted Denver Pass Rush Would Upend Any Positive Momentum. The Broncos End Up Steam Rolling The Saints 33-10. Bo Nix Delivered Something Of A Mixed Bag 16/26 Passing For 164 Passing Yards, And A Passer Rating Of 79.6, 10.2 Per Completion. His Connection Was Well Downfield More Than Half Of His Yards Came Through Four Big Completions.  The Broncos got Ever They Wanted On The Ground According To Next Gen Stats 225 Yards As A Team, and 114 After Contact. Javonte Williams has 14 Carries For 88 Yards Rushing And Two(2) Touchdowns, Bo Nix 10 Carries 75 Yards Rushing, 7.5 yards Per Attempt. The Broncos Generally Dominated Pace Of Play By Operating Off Of The Run.

Spencer Rattler Performed Well In Moments But I Don’t Think He’s Shown Enough Upside For The Saints To Looked At Him Past A Back-Up Role. The Broncos Sacked Rattler Six Times, Generating Two Loss Fumbles In The Process, And Pressures And Sacks Came Quickly In Under 2.5 Sec Simply A Deficient Amount Of Time To Make Plays And Survey Down Field. Rattler Had Trouble Delivering On Any Throw Beyond The ten Yard Line And Most Of His 172 Passing Yards Came After The Catch On Slip Screens He Only Two Passes Over Ten Air Yards and Just 11 Or Over Five Air Yards. This Game didn't have much Significance On The Larger Scale Of The NFL. The Broncos Advance Beyond.500 For The First Time This Season Winning 3 Of 4 Of Their Last Games. Aside from two Games Against The Chiefs, Another Game At Baltimore and A Bout With The Falcons theBroncos Have An Easy Schedule Starting Next week Against The Panthers. On The Schedule That Bout With The Ravens In Two Weeks Looks Enticing As The Broncos Have The Defensive Personnel To Tackle

The Ravens Offense Head On.

Jets Vs Steelers

The Steelers Stuck To Their Guns From The Offseason Declaring That That Formerly Announced Started Russell Wilson Would Takeover The Reigns Of The Offense Now That He Fully Healthy. Did anyone expect The Once Forlorn Talent Of Justin Fields To Play So Good In His Six Week Run as the Starter In Pittsburgh, Probably Only Fields. By “Good” I Mean Above Average, Field Lands Right In The Middle Of Most Quarterbacks In Various Statistical Categories. Field Has Generated A Positive EPA But The Steelers Want A More Stabilizing Force At Passer One With Less High and Low But Rather More Banal Stability. Russell’s First Voyage As The Steelers Quarterback  Went Successfully Banal.

His deep Ball While Lacking Velocity Demonstrated Excellent  Touch And Shaking Off The Rust Of a 2/8 Start To The Game To Propel The Steelers On 24 Unanswered Points After Halftime And Steal A Win Over The Jets. The Steeler Generated So Much Fuzz And Banter After Benching Fields For Wilson But Over A Hype Jets Team Proved A Silencer Finishing 16/29 with 264 Passing Yards, Two Touchdowns, Passer Rating a 109.0 Passer Rating.

Wilson Like Fields Doesn’t Throw Over The Middle, Leaving An Entire Area For A Defense To Neglect But He’sSo Gifted With Hitting drop Shots Over The Top Of Defenders Even With His loss of arm Strength Demonstrated By A Couple Of throws To George Pickens That Doesn’t Matter Because she Gives His Receiver A Shot At The Ball. The Steelers Traditional Run Game With Running Back Najee Harris 21 Carries For 102 Rushing Yards 4.9 Yards Per Rush One Touchdown. This Jets defense ranks in the top five in football, and the middle-of-the-pack defense exploited opening after opening. George Pickens 5 Catches 111 Receiving Yards And One Touchdown. The Jets Offense Would Need Time To Come Along Even After The First Half Displayed Some  Positives Early In The Game. A lot Of the Excitement Around Davante Adams's Arrival Never Materialized. Adams Should’veTheoretically Open Up Space and Opportunity For Garrett Wilson To Thrive And Wilson Made Plays Like His 29 Yard Catch and the Jet's Two Point Conversion But both of Aaron Rodgers' interceptions Came Off Of Targets To Wilson One Pass Wilson Just Fails To Secure The Pass Which Fortunately For The Steelers Bounces Into A Defenders Hands; both Picks Catalyst To The Pittsburgh's Run To Close The Game. Breece Hall Scored or Set Both Of The Steelers Touchdowns. The First Of Which Came On The Ground Scored By Hall’s 13 Yard Rush As He Cut Through The Steelers Defenders. Hall Set Up The Steelers In The Red Zone With a 57 Yard Catch And Run Off Of A Screen Play  Rodgers Would Hit His Tight Tyler Conklin To Close Off The Drive But The Jets Scoring Run Would End As The Steelers Took Off For 31 Point Run. The Steelers' Defense Kept  Davante Adams in Check, Just Three Catches For 30 On Nine Targets. The Just Fall To 2-5 And 0-2 Since Firing Robert Saleh andWith Their Season Virtually Over The Rodgers Run With The Franchise Marks Another Failure. The Jets Have A Relatively Easy Schedule Ahead And A Few Easy Teams To Summersault To Get A Top Seven(7) Spot They’llNeed To Start Winning.

Titans vs Bills

With All This Talk And Memes About Will Levis, Mayonnaise and The Titans Sputtering Offense the Tennessee Defense Gets Overlook. The Titans Came Into Week 7 With The Best Pass Defense By Yardage AllowingOpponents Around 147 Passing Yards, Some Of Which Opponents Usually Allow The Titans Offense To Beat Themselves This Defense Has Talent, And Facing The Bills On Sunday Tennessee Showed Tough As The Bills And Josh Allen Struggled Early Before Cracking Tennessee In The Second Half And Coming away With The Big Win  34-10. In The First Half The Buffalo Offense Punted On All but One Of Their First Seven Drives and Fell 10-0 Late In The First Quarter. In The Second Quarter, The Bills Would Finally puncture The Tennessee Defense With A Big 44 44-yard catch By Keon Coleman Which Set Up A James Cook Touchdown. The Bills Would Score 34 Unanswered Points Including A Red Zone Touchdown To Amari Cooper Making His Bills Debut From Josh Allen. Mason Rudolph Started In Place Of Will Levis And He Performed Well In The Offense Early But Couldn’tSustain Drives Converting 6/16 On Third Down. Rudolph Finished 25/40 For 215 Passing Yards One Touchdown, One Interception, and A Lost Fumble. He fumbled three Times This Game. Josh Allen Shook Off His Poor Start To 21/33 For 323, Two Touchdowns, 9.8 a Throw On 116.1 Passer Rating. Rookie Keon Coleman Had His Best Game As A Pro Now Slotted As The 1B Receiver The Florida State Product Hauled In 4  Catches For 125 Receiving Yards Most Of Which Came On Two Massive Gains A 44 Yarder and A 57 Yard Catch and Run. The Bills jumped to 5-2 But Haven’t Beaten Anyone Of Note On The Season Their Best Win Came against The 2-5 Jets Or Maybe The Cardinals But They Haven’t Beaten A Team With A Winning Record This Season. Cooper Pulled 4 Catches For 66 Yards and a Touchdown. The Titans Continue To Pludge Towards The Bottom Of The League. The Quarterback Room Continues To Play Like One Of The Worst In Football.
