NFL Week Eight Previews

For So Long I’ve Wanted To Expand My Weekly Dives Into NFL Games Beyond Just Post Sunday Reviews. Over The Past Four Years Of My Freelance Work, I’ve Always Found Myself Detained To Waiting Until The Monday After to Deliver The Full Reaches Of My Weekly Writing Giving My Audience All Of My Opinions From The Entire Week Just Once. Most Of The Time I’m working A Job In Between My Side Work In Writing, and I Need To Manage Potential Burnout, and I Just Love To See The Look Of My Word Count Passing The 6000 Word Mark—Trust Me it’s Very Satisfying. Here is My First Attempt At An NFL Weekly Preview, Which I Usually Include In The Final.
I Wrote On Just Six Games In Paragraph Style, around 1500 words And As I Grow My Work Grows I’ll Explore More Styles and Expand To more Games. I know I Don’t Have Much Of A Following Yet if you Stop By To Check Out Let Me Know What You Think.

Bears vs. Commanders

Number One Pick Versus Number Two Pick Quarterback Matchups In The NFL Feel Rare But We’ll Get A Good One When The Bear Fly-In Off Their Bye To Face The Commanders. Bryce Young And CJ Stroud Matchup Last Season With Stroud Coming Out Ahead Of A Struggling Panthers Team, This Matchup As A Lot More Weight. Daniels Suffered An Injury That Sidelined Him For Most Of The Commander's Game versus The Panthers AndRight Now He’s Reported As Uncertain For This Primetime Sunday Matchup. Daniels's Absence Would Suck The Life Out Of What Could Prove The Highlight Affair Of The Evening With Williams And The Bears Entering Week 8 Off Of A Bye Week. This Game Could Have Playoff Implications. The Commanders Have The Best Record In The East But The Eagles Have Started Gaining Traction Right Behind Them. Either of These Teams Could Find Themselves Vying For The Last Wild Card Spot In The NFC. In Daniels Stead, Marcus Mariota completed 18 of 23 passes for 205 yards But They’re The Number One Offense With Daniels. How The Two Top Picks Compared Williams Has More Touchdowns, Daniels Has More Passing Yards, Better Passer

rating, and More Total Touchdowns Because He Can Skate Across The Field Like An Olympic Ice Skaters. The Bears Enter This Game With One Of The Best Scoring And Efficient Defenses In Football Coming Fourth In Points and 7th in Passing Second Overall On FPI. The Bears Still Has A Ways To Go On Offense Just 23rd According To FPi But They Have Two Thirty Point Outing Behind Them. The Commanders Come Off Of A Rave Success Against The Panthers But The Bears Present A Host Of Greater Problems Than The Hapless Offense Of Carolina.

Cardinals Vs Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins Can’t Score Any And Mike Mcdaniel's Status As A Categorical “Genius” And Quarterback Whisperer Has Now Enter The Space For Debate. The Dolphins Have Swayed Far From Their Preseason Super Bowl Aspiration. The Dolphins Currently Rank Last In Points Per Game, No Dolphins Skill Player Has Eclipsed The 300 Yard Mark FOR the Season Which Includes A Healthy Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, And A Sometimes Healthy Davon Achane. Tua Expects To Return Soon But The Dolphins Season Looks Lost At This Point. The Dolphins have the best passing defense regarding passing yards allowed, and they’ll face the Always-erratic Cardinals offense led by Kyler Murray. Murray Hasn’t Proven He’s A Consistent Passer Ranking Just 16th in the ESPN Passing EPA Metric, tenth By PFF’s Rankings, and The Cardinals Average Under 200 Yards Passing. The Don’t Defend The Rush as Well And The Cards Average 5.5 A Carry Second To Only Baltimore On The season. Even With the Cardinal's Bottom Five Defense Arizona Has The Edge Having Just Defeated One Of The League’s Best Defenses In The Los Angeles Chargers On Monday. The Dolphins will Get Quarterback Tua Tagavaiola Back For This Game And Possibly Save Mike Mcdaniel's reputation.

Jaguars Vs. Packers

The NFL Today Features Many Young Quarterbacks The League’s Teams Would Like To Start Their Franchise’s With And You Don’t Have To Look Too Far From This Jags Green Bay Game To Find A Few Names. Jordan Love He Can Drive Fans Wild With his herky-jerky style Of Play Because He’s Going To Force A Throw  That no One Watching Advises But When He Hits(50/50) He Produces A Highlight Straight Out Of The Mahomes Hall of Fame tribute. Right Now Love Ranks Second In The League In Passing Touchdown He’s Only Completing Around 60% Of His Passes and He’s Also Top Ten In Bad Throw Percentage. In Some Ways, Lawrence Has The Same Volatility Only By Way of Pressure, Where Love Just takes questionable risks within The Offense The Jags Offense Forces Lawrence To Concede to Tough Throws and Lawrence Also Completes His Passes In The Low 60s. Jordan Love Has Demolition More Potent Defense Than This Jags Unit but He’s Thrown At Least One interception In every Game could The Jags Defense Capitalize On Love Ruthless Aggression. The Jags Have Given Up The Highest Passer Rating This Season, Not To Mention The Third Highest Yards Per Attempt(8.0) Against A Shoot First Quarterback Like Jordan Love This Doesn’t Bode Well For Jacksonville’s Odds.

Browns Vs. ravens

Deshaun Watson Suffered An Achilles Injury In Week 7 Bringing An End To--At Least For Now-- A Tumultuous Era In Not Just Cleveland Browns History  But the History Of Football. Watson’s Play Set Record Lows For Football While His Contract Set Record Highs For Guaranteed Money, Cap Hit AnD just The Share Volume Of Mentions In The Cleveland Discourse. Watson’s Injury Shifts The Focus From Cleveland’s Quarterback Situation To Something Involved In The Play On The Field. In Some Ways Watson Distracted(In A Negative Way) The Focus Away From How Bad The Browns Have Fallen From Their Playoff Season A Year Ago. The Browns DefenseHas Drop To 21 From Number One Last Season. The Offensive Line Has Played Unfeasibly “Unjustifiable” given Watson’s 33 and The Browns Ranking In The Middle Of Pass block and Near The Bottom Run Block Win Rate. Cleveland’s Had An Overall Disaster Of A Season And They Face One Of The Best Offenses In The League InBaltimore. The Browns' Defense Had One Of Their Better Games Last Week, Especially Against The Run Ans Holding the Very Capable Bengals' Offense To Just 7 Points On A kick return Before The Half And the Bengals Added Two More Passing Touchdowns. The Ravens Run The Ball A Ton, Perhaps You’ve Heard But Their Second Ranked Offense Has Other Threats To Acknowledge Primarily Their Tight ENDS. The Ravens Don’t Have The Wide Receivers That The Bengals So but The Ravens Offense Can Cut Through Defense With Sweeping Gashes Rather than Normalized Efficiency. If  The Browns’s Cornerbacks Can Lead the Defense To  Play Up To A Past Level We Could Have A Ball Game. The Browns' Offense looks different With Jameis Winston In Command He Delivered Cleveland A Touchdown And Only needs FIVE more To Tie Watson For The Season lead. The Browns Secondary Give Up 12.4 Yard per Completion and Though The Ravens Don’t Fall Too Far Behind At 12 They’re Baltimore’s Playing One Of The Worse Teams In Football. Cleveland Does Lead The League In Run Stop WinRate Maybe The Come Close To Slowing Down Derrick Henry.

Bucs Vs Falcons

The Last Time The Falcons And Bucs Met With The NFC On The Line Fans witnessed Kirk Cousins Passing For 509 Yards, The Buccaneers Unsuccessfully Holding On To A Late Lead And Blowing A 93% Win Probability And The Falcons Overcoming 36-30 In Overtime. Both Teams Come Into Week 8 On The Heels Of Losses The Falcons' Offense did Not Scratch Close to 30 Points In A Lost To The Seahawks, The Bucs Unsuccessfully Try To Challenge Lamar Jackson's Run Against NFC. While Kirk’s 500 Yard Passing Made A Positive Impression On Fans It's Generally An Outlier For The Falcons Passing Game. Cousin Touted For His Near Robotic Consistency Cousins Should Have Atlanta and The Offense Of The Falcons In A Better Position Than Fighting With The Bucs For First Place In The South. Kirk Now stands fourth In Passing Yards But The Falcons Only Average 23.3 Points Per Game Right Above Pittsburgh. Good News For The Falcons Kirk Will Face The Same Bucs Secondary Coming Off Of Another Worrisome Performance Getting Shredded  By Lamar Jackson. The Bucs Pass Rush Generates A Lot of Pressure But The Teams Defensive Backs Get Exposed More Times Than The Defensive Line Can Cover For The Team.  While The Bucs Rank Seventh In Pressures The Also Fifth In Yards Per Play(5.9) And The Third Most Passing Yards. The Falcons' Defense Struggles to Produce Pressure Worst In The League But The Secondary is fairly better relegating Teams to the 8th-best Yards Per Attempt.

Bills Vs Seahawks

The Bills Will Carry The Dark Horse Mantle In The AFC  ass The Chiefs and Ravens Carry The Contender Arc Into The Playoffs. The Bills Have One Prominent Blemish Of Their Season, They Haven’t Beaten Anyone Of Note. The Bills Have Lost Both Their Battles Against Winning Team and Tussle With The Jets Before Davante Adams Arrived In Gang Green. The Passing Defense Has Had Some “Ups and Downs”  And Virtually Any Competent Passing Attack Can Get Their Best Out Of The Buffalo Pass Defense With A Coverage Unit Ranked 29 By PFF. Geno Smith Leads The League In Passing Yards and completions And is 6th In Completion Percentage He’s Overall Not Playing His Best Barely Cracking The Top 20 In Passer Rating As Seattle's Passing Attack Has Suffered Some “Ups And Downs”. Seattle’s Defense Has Weaknesses But The Secondary Can Play With The Best Of The League In Spots. This Game Could Prove A Shoot With The Hotter Arm Between Geno Smith and His More Proven Cadre Of Pass Catchers and The Bills Offense Still Coming Along.
