NFL Week Two Takeaways.

What To Make Of Week--yes, Week Two Already-- A Couple Of Massive Upsets Including The Rdaider Taking Down The Ravens In Comeback Fashion. The Falcons' Passing Attack Overwhelm The Eagles And Flew past Philly's Ground Attack To Take Home An Improbable Win.

Raiders Vs Ravens

Davante Adams has gotten off to an inconspicuous, quiet start to the season, not only statistically but also because he’s not made any grumblings about the conditions of playing for the Raiders. Ever Since Adams Made The Move To The Silver and Black, Fans Have Watched His illustrious Career Fade To Black in The Dense Gravity Of A Franchise Forever Adrift, Searching For Direction. Adams made nearly no difference in week one as the Raiders' offense struggled to generate points and convert on drives. The Netflix Series “Wide Receiver” Displayed The Full unleashed Version Of Adams’s Frustrations; Wins And Losses Alone Don’t Satisfy Adams’s Drive To Play The Game; he Wants To Serve As The Focal Point Of The Raiders Offense. The Raiders will face the  Ravens, clearly the better team in football, and have some frustrations to roll over from the Chiefs’ opening night loss. Expect this game to get ugly for Las Vegas. Adams Praised Ravens’ Quarterback Lamar Jackson As The Best Rusher In Football and as Great In The Rushing Game; he Prefers The Game As A Quarterback, But The Distinct Advantage Of The Role Of A Passer Before Taking Advantage Of A Defense, Often Unprepared For The Treats Of Lamar’s  Legs As a Secondary Option.  Lamar’s Legs Will always Earn Him Praise And Adoration, But If He Can’t Swing His yarn With The Best, His Play Style Won’t Earn Him the Super Bowl. Against The Raiders, Lamar didn’t have to carry the offense from start to finish; the Ravens decided to utilize Derrick Henry to achieve a more significant effect. Lamar, However, Struggle To Complete Passes Against Drop zone. Times, Lamar, Wins With Big Strikes Down Field, Short Intermediate Catch, And Runs, Not Too Often The Nuances In Between Passes. The Raiders defense Made Lamar Work For His 247 Passing Yards. Jackson and The Ravens' Offense Seldom Like To Pass Jackson Too Often Because The More He Winds Up, The He Gets Exposed As A Passer. The Ravens’s Offense Started The Game Rushing Heavy As Lamar Struggled To Gain A Grip On The Passing Game. Lamar Started The Game 4/5 For 36 Passing Yards, Which fouled The Surface, But He Couldn’t Keep The Offense Afloat. Even With Both Struggling Offenses Struggling Through The First Half, The Ravens Couldn’t Capitalize  On The Slow Start, Taking Just A Three Point Lead Into The Half.

Baltimore Would Get Their First Touchdown Of The Game At The

At the beginning Of The Second Half, Lamar Culminating a 6-play 70-yard drive With An 8 8-yard touchdown, And the Ravens Could Have Sealed This Game Against A Weak Raider Offense. However, The Ravens Show Their True Nature, two Seasons Ago, they suffered A Historical Comeback Loss At The Hands Or Fins Of The Dolphins Because The Ravens Took Their Foot Off The Pedals. The Ravens Like To Get Ahead And Work The Clock Because, Again The Consequences Of Lamar Taking On Too Many Offensive Play Calls Usually Hurt The Team In The Long Run. This Theory Proves Correct As Lamar Throws An Interception On The Next Drive And The Raiders Score On The Ensuing Drive, pulling Life Back Into Their Hope After A Death Sink Touchdown By The Ravens’ Offense.

The Ravens Would Piece Together Another Scoring Drive, and This 9 play 75 Yard Drive Should Have  Put This Game To Bed For The Ravens Against Gardner Minchew. However,  the Raiders Would Score On Three Consecutive Drives. Davante Adams Would Make His Imprint On This Game by Scoring A Touchdown And Making An Incredible Balance Catch Going Out Of Bounds. Adam’s Legs, Hands, And Torso would Prove A Crucial Difference As The Raiders’s Star Receiver Would Finish With His Best Game In Ages In Silver and Black. He’s No Longer The Decoy He’s The Focal Point Of Raider Wins. Gardner Minchew played To His Best Self in this game, 30/38 for 276 Touchdowns, One Interception and +12.5 On CPOE, and A Passer Rating Of 94.7. Minchew had his Gaffs, like a First-half Interception, but he completed some rugged passes. Brock Bowers Followed Up Adams With 9 Catches For 98 Yards. The Raiders Pulled Away With A Heist Of A Win To Drop The Ravens To 0-2. The Ravens Succeeded Three Scores To The Raiders Late, But The Offense Posting Two 3 Outs Didn’t Help.

Saints Vs Cowboys

Which Side Of The Story Reads The Truest From

week One? The Saints Proved Their Explosive Offensive Performance From Week One; the Best Offensive On an Awful Day For Offense Didn’t Come As A Product Of The Saints playing The League Worse Panthers. The Cowboys showed that their impressive defensive performance resulted from the Browns' offensive line's lack of two starters. The Saints Pummel The Cowboys In Texas, Snapping Dallas’s Unbeaten  Home Strike At 16, Globbering Dallas 44-19. The Saints Ran Away With This One, jumping Out To An early 21-6 Lead and scoring A Touchdown On All Six Of Their First six Possessions. Running Back Alvin Kamara Came Away With Four Touchdowns, Three On The Ground, One In The Passing Game On His Way To Amassing 180 Yards Of Offense On 22 Touches. Derek Carr Only Needed 16 Attempts and 11 Completions To Pass For Over 243 Yards. Carr Would Produce A lot Of Big Plays, a 39-yarder to Wide Receiver Chris Olave, and Another 70 70-yarder to Rashid Shaheed For The Second Big hook-up Between Those Two This Season. Shaheed is proving that he’s one of the league’s best deep threats, and his teammate Chris Olave might prove the biggest challenge to his honor. Olave caught a big 39-yard pass that set up a quick score for Derek Carr. I Don’t Suppose Derek Carr Will sustain Anything Close To The Scoring OutPours He’s Produced Thus Far The Saints Have Scored Point On Carr’s first 15 drives of the 2024 season With A Pick ENDING A Streak That Could’ve Stretch Further Even With The Saints Traveling To Philly Next Week. The Cowboys’ Defense Had No Answers For The Saints' Faster Leaner Receivers, and Klint Kubiak's Early Returns Look Like The Next Great Shanahan-West Coast System Savant. The Cowboy's Longer Corner Had A Lot Of Trouble Staying Stride For Stride With Chris Olave, whom Kubiak Scheme Into 4 Catches For 81 Yards and a 20.3 Throw. The Saint's Offensive Line Performed Marvelous Only Succeeding One Sack And One QB Hit To The Cowboys. The Saint's defense kept the less explosive, more methodical Cowboys offense churning and yard, bit by bit, while the Saints offense was away with this one. This game exposed the fact that if the Cowboys' pass rush doesn’t disrupt the passenger, the secondary has holes to exploit. Meanwhile, Dak Prescott Completed Just One Pass over 15+ Air

yards And Just six Over 10 Air Yards On His Way 27/39 293, Passing Yards One Touchdown and Two Interceptions. Ceedee Lamb Picked Up A Big 65 Yard Catch And Run To Produce Dallas’s Only Touchdown Of The Game. Lamb Caught 4 Passes For 90 Yards On 22.5 Yards Per Catch.

Bucs Vs. Lions

Two Years Ago, Who’d Have Thought A Week Two Matchup Between The Buccaneers And The Lions Would Hold Such Gravity? These Two NFC Giants Meet For A Clash That Could Reshape The Top Of The Conference Come Season’s End. The Lions Had a Tough Time With The Rams But Outlasted Los Angeles Late In Week One; on a Sunday When Most Quarterback Performed In A Manner That Insulted The Passing Game, Baker Mayfield Put On The Best Passing Performance Of Week One.

The defenses for both teams took control of this game early. Tampa took an early Two-field goal after a Goff intercept on the Lions' first offensive snap, which led to a massive 55-field goal by Tampa kicker Chase McLaughlin. A Pass Interference Call against Lion’s Corner Terrion Arnold Would Set Up A Tampa First Field Goal After The Lions Defense Responds And Shuts The Door—the Theme Of Tampa picking Up Big Gains Only To Meet  The Door Shut Throughout The Quarter.

The Lions Would Respond On Goff’s Next Pass, Again Targeting Jameson Williams. The Target On The Interception, Williams Beat the Tampa Coverage Deep To Pick 50 And Set The Lions Up To Cut The Tampa Lead In Half With a Field Goal. The Lions’s Defense Has Carried Them For Stretches Throughout The Early Season, and With Tampa Driving Again, Converting Long Downs, Aidan Hutchinson Would Wreak Havoc On TAMPA’s Offensive Line, Picking Three Sacks, One Of Each Of Tampa’s First Three Drives, One Sack Fumble. Hutchinson’s Third Sack Would Close The Door On Mayfield And The Bucs From Scoring Another Field Goal. Mayfield And the Bucs' Offense Wouldn’t Allow A Couple Of Sacks To Overwhelm Hkm. He’s Come From The Ground To Seize This Opportunity With The Bucs, And He Proves His Worth.

The Bucs Would Score The First Touchdown Of The Game On a Six Play 70 Yard Drive That Included 3 Catches For 69 yards That Concluded With A 41 Yard Touchdown. Mayfield Had To Escape Pressure To Convert A 3rd And 10 For 17 To Godwin. Baker Would Chris Godwin On A Blown Coverage for A 41 Yarder. The Lions Would Get Aggressive on Their Next Drive Sensing The Pressure To Respond. The Lions Would Convert A Fake Punt, And A Fourth(Both count As fourth downs) In One Drive, But Alas Creativity Wouldn’t Prove Enough After 11 Plays and Just 30 Yards, the Lions Would Concede And Punt The Offense Struggling To Sustain Drives, and Pass Catching. With a little run game to support Mayfield, Chris Godwin would continue to work at the Detroit Secondary. The Lions Exhausted A lot Of resources In The Secondary Just To Watch Tampa pass-catchers eviscerate Them Early. Heading Into The 2 Minute Warning Of The First Half, Godwin Would Accumulate 117 Yard Through The Air, Baker A Passer Rating of 143.4. The Lions Would Catch a Break in The Form Of A Brian Branch Interception On Miscommunication. The Lions' Offense Would Get The Ball Back With under two Minutes To Go, But With so Many Lions' Drives For Jared Goff and Ben Johnson, The Drive Would End With No Results. The Lions Miss Out On a Field Goal Attempt.

The Lions Would Gain The Bucs By Nearly 80 Yards, But Look Clearly Played By The Bucs On Offense. This Lions team has many picks to represent the NFC, but Tampa looked like the superior team. The Bucs' Defense Played A lot Of Drop Zone, forcing Goff And The Lions' Offense To take A lot Of Underneath stuff and Short Yardage, Which Kept The Lions' Success Rate and Down And Distance Behind. The Lions Got Out of The Second With their First Touchdown Of The Game. A 12 Play 68, 68-yard drive, David Montgomery Would Punch In The One-yard Score.

This Drive For Lions Also Required Three 3rd Conversions All Of Which Goff Picked Up Through The Air. Baker Mayfield Will Offer His Response On The Ground. With Bucs Rushing Attack struggling, Mayfield Would Take Off and Make Plays Himself On The Ground, Picking up 22 Yards On The Ground To Convert A Touchdown. Mayfield Accounting For 43 Yard Of A Six Play,  70 Yard Drive As The Bucs Jump In Front 20-16.

Tampa’s Stout Defense Would Turn The Lions Away At The Foot Of The End Zone To Win The Mammoth NFC Matchup. The Lions would get one last gasp that would fall short for many reasons. The Lions' offense struggled all game, and the Bucs would let nothing open over the top. The Lions Offense Dwarfed Tampa’s In Yardage, 463-217 on The Number Of Drives(11). Tampa only converted two third downs in the first half, but that was all Mayfield needed to seal this win. Baker Mayfield Would Finish 12/19  For 185 Passing Yards, One Touchdown, And A 90.9 Passer Rating. Mayfield Took Five Sacks,4.5 Of Aidan Hutchinson. Chris Godwin Didn’t Make Another Play After The First Half, But again, Tampa Didn’t Need More From Either Player. The Bucs Look Like Early Super Bowl Contender Who Would Have Thought.

Rams Vs. Cardinals

The Rams Proved, At Least For One Week, That Their Defense, Projected As One Of The Worst In Football Ahead Of One Week One,  claimed ownership Of  The Title For The Famous Mark Twain: “The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.” Commentators Believed with A Doubt That The Rams Pass Rush Would Tale A Step Back Without Aaron Darnold But The Secondary Would Get Punctured Like A  Piece A Paper. Instead, the Rams' secondary Offense is owned against a powerful Rams offense, starting by holding the Lions' receiver Amon-Ra St.Browm to just 13 yards. Jameson Williams Went Off For 121 On 5 Catches, But The Rams' Defense Can Consistently Hold Down a Prolific Passing Attack. This Secondary Might Have Something To Say For This Team On The Season. The Rams Will Play without Star Wide Receiver Puka Nacua For Some Time; He’s Headed To IR With A Knee Injury. Cooper Kupp, The Old Rams Star, Now Steps Into A Greater Portion Of The Light For The Rams Offense. Kupp Absorbed 21 Targets Last Week and Caught 14 Passes For 110 For One Touchdown, But Only 7.9 Per Catch. He’s Lost A Step or Two Kupp, And He never Threatened Deep In his Prime And Most Certainly Won’t Now.  The Chess Moves  For Sean McVay To Work Kupp Without Gravity Of Puka. The Rams Play The Cardinals in a Familiar Divisional foe, but the same Secondary From one who didn’t Transfer Over Early Against Wide Receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. Last Kyler Stated He Didn’t Hold Any Responsibility For Getting Harrison The Ball After A Lackluster Debut For The Top Five Pick, This Week Kyler Got Marvin Harrison Involved Early. Harrison Jr. would Catch 4 Passes For 141 Receiving Yards and Two Touchdowns Before The Half Highlight. The Ohio State Product would Catch A Touchdown Along The Back Line Of The End Zone. Harrison’s Biggest Play Of The Game Would come On What Looked Like A Shallow Route That Turned Into A  Catch and Run Of 60 Yards And Harrison’s Second Touchdown Of The Game and A Play Touchdown Drive For A Cardinals Offense That Struggle Against The Bills. The Arizona Offense Would Only Turn The Heat Up Some More. A Good Punt helped the Rams Pin Kyler Murray and the Offense On The One Yard line, But The Cardinals Came Prepare For The CHALLENGE. Starting With a 15 15-yard completion To break The Cards Away From The End Zone And  Another 32 32-yard completion Jr To Put The Cardinals In The Ram’s Red Zone. Kyler Would Strike wide Receiver Elijah Higgins In The Back Of The End Zone For 18 Yards. The Cardinals  Would take A 24-3 Lead Into Half Times. Kyler, In the First Half, Proved  That He was A First Round, the Number One Quarterback Who Performs Well Enough To Remind Of His pedigree But Not consistently enough To demonstrate He Deserves His Pedigree. The Kyler Who Torched The Rams For  Three Touchdowns Before The End Of The Third Quarter also Disappeared against The Bills In The Second Half. Which Kyler Can The Cardinals Depend On throughout the Season? The Rams offense lost Cooper Kupp early in the game and found themselves working with a lot of unproven pass catchers late. Stafford Still performs his Sorcerer Supreme Like Ability To Create Plays and Complete Passes And, Lead The Rams On A Scoring Drive Late In The Game. Kyler Murray Finished The Game With A Passer Rating of 158.3, 17/21, 266 Passing Yards, and Three Touchdowns. Can The Cardinals consistently Rise Up And Incorporate Their Pass Catchers Like Harrison Jr. involved in the Game? For The First Time Ever In The Mcvay, Matthew Era The Rams Look Beaten From The Beginning. Matthew Stafford 19/27 For 216 Passing Yards, Five Sacks, And A Passer Rating Of 94.1. The Rams got Nothing Much On The Ground, 53 Between Blake Corum and Kyren Williams On 2.7 A Carry. The Rams Fall To 0-2 But The Team Has Bounced Back For Dismal Starts Before.

Bengals Vs. Chiefs

The Bengals Stub Their Toe Against The Chiefs Late with Poor Execution and  That Correct But Questionable Ass Interference Call That Conceded Three Points To The Chiefs In A Late 26-25 Victory. To The Bengals Credit The Offense A lot More Of What We Know and Expect From Zach Taylor And Joe Burrow. Burrow Tallied 23/36 For 258 Passing Yards, Two Touchdowns, and a 103.7 Passer Rating, But Obviously, The Bengals Could’ve played  Better. Starting On Third Down, Where Cincinnati Only Converted 4/13, Including A Crucial Third Down Sack With The Bengals In Position To Run The Clock, But The Punt Resulted In The Chiefs’s Final Score. Burrow Also Suffered Another sack On Third Down On 3rd And 10 That Resulted In A Fumble Returned For A Touchdown. The Chiefs' defense gave up two passing touchdowns to Joe Burrow prior to the late drives, which ramped up the pressure and forced Burrow off of his spot. The Bengals, Again Played Without Tee Higgins, Found New Options To Open Up Their Passing Game, But The Lack Of Another Gravity Pulling Body Help The Chiefs Focus In On Jamar Chase, The Bengals' Star Receiver who Finished With Four Catches For 35. Tight End Mike Gesicki Would Step Into The Forefront As The Team’s Leading Receiving Threat With 7 Catches For 91 Receiving yards. The Bengals miss Joe Mixon more than Mixon misses the Bengals because the ground game hasn't assisted the passing. Anyway, thus far. The Chiefs Offense Got More Than Enough Punch From Their Runningbacks On A Day When Patrick Mahomes Did Not Produce His Best Game for The Chiefs, Just 18/25 For 151, two Touchdown and Two Interceptions. A Game like this Would Have the Chiefs Reaching For The Nyquil. The Bengals Won The Turnover Battle But Lost On Penalties Including The Faithful Interference On A fourth-and-16 That Ended The Game. Rashee Rice Had A Nice Game, 5 Catches For 75 Yards, And An Early Touchdown. If I Were A Fan Of Either Of These Teams  Im More Concern About The Chiefs Than The Bengals Kansas City Needed A Bang-Bang Call To Bail Them Out Of Sure Lost. The Offense For KC Can Sputter Off The Rails At Times, And We’ve Seen This Trend With Kansas City In Recent Years. Patrick Mahomes Completed A Nice 44-Yard Bomb To Rashee Rice, But Too Often, These Plays Would Turn As Unsuccessful Or Just Turnovers. Mahomes Most Likely hoped The New Speed On The Outside Would Open The Door For The Chiefs To Assume Their Explosive Play Rate Could Return To His 2018-2021(The Tyreek Hill Era) And That Hasn’t Materialized.

Panthers vs. Chargers

Watching Bryce Young Play Football Summons Feelings Of Curious Amazement, Amusement, and Sometimes Petty. On one side, he can escape pressure (Somewhat) Based on his ability to dart under larger players and squeeze through small cracks along the offensive line. Young Has One Of The Better Pressure To Sack Rates In The League and One Of The Longest Time To Throw (Which Looks Good Or Bad Depending On Perspective). The Panthers Registered another Lost And Young Played Mostly Abysmal Ball, 18/26 For 84 Passing Yards, An Interception 57.2 Passer Rating. One Play For Certain Encapsulates Young’s Career and Play Style So Far. Around the 6 Minute Mark In The First Quarter, Facing A 3rd and Five (5), Young Escape Multiple Pressure Shots. However, He Flush Into A Corner Like A Rat Against The Many Charging Chargers’ Defenders.

Young Looks To Make A Play Downfield As He Would In His Crimson Tide Days, and He Waves His Man, Open Deep, Only For A Wave Of Dustress To Hit As Nothing Opens Up. Most quarterbacks would launch the ball in the air in an “*insert name here* must be down there somewhere” attempt. Instead, Young Only Delays The Inevitable And Takes A Sack. His Escape looks Amazing, Something Out Of A Spider-Man movie,  His Fledging Attempt To signal A Receiver Who By No Means Would Find Any Space Open Amused Like a Desperate Last Gasp To Signal A Bus, and His Sacking Just Filled The  Entire Transaction Of Moves With Petty, Because You Can Tell Young Wanted So Desperately To Find Success On That Down. The Charger Zap The Panthers 26-3 To Left Los Angeles Record To 2-0 On The Year. Justin Herbert Produced A Quality Game, Passing 14/20 130 Yards, Two Touchdowns, One Pick, A QBr of 88.1, And A Passer Rating of 100.0. In the Chargers' Ground Game, JK Dobbins Rushed For 131 Yards On 17 Carries, 7.7 Per Carry, and One Touchdown.  Herbert Threw One Pick On A Forced Ball Taken away By Jaycee Horn. No Chargers’s Receiver Has Stepped Up Into Prominence But Quentin Johnston Came Down With Two Touchdowns. I Don’t Know How Far This New “Re-Energized” Chargers Team Under Jim Harbaugh Can Travel Up The Boards, But Far They Look As Good As Any Of The Broken Teams In The AFC West.

For The Panthers, Is It Time To Look Away From Bryce Young? Part of Me Still believes He Can Win In The League, But Maybe If He Sits For A Couple Of Seasons Behind A Veteran. So far, the game looks too fast for young people to function against so many parts. In Tuscaloosa, Young would face top-flight competition once every two months, even at the SEC; now, he gets no rebound games to “Catch himself.” In College, Young Took A lot Of Sacks and Generated A lot Of Negative Plays Because Of His Style Of Play, and He Could Roll Those Off With A Big Play On Later Downs. At Alabama, A Third And 17 Has The Resonance Of 3rd And 7 In The Pros Because Bama Has Superior and The Bama Defense Could Get The Ball Back On The Return. In Carolina An Opposite Weight And Teams Like The Saints and The Chargers Pile The Points On Quickly. Speaking Of Which He’ll Face The Raiders A Defense On A High After Defeating Lamar Jackson. The Panthers Blocking Hasn’t Improved As One Would Hope.

Vikings Vs. 49ers

Sam Darnold Proved He Can Still Start and Lead A Team In Week One. The Vikings Signed The Veteran Passer In Free Agency To Compete For The Starting Job, And The Former Niners Back Found Himself Entrusted With The Starting Spot After JJ McCarthy’s Injury. Truthfully, Darnold Proved Himself Worthy To Reclaim The Role Of Team Lead Two Season Ago For The Panthers When Carolina Came One Game Short Of Making The Playoffs, So Those Watching The Former Top 5 Pick Elevate His play Against The New York Giants  Weren’t Surprise The Educated Mind. Darnold Holds The Distinct Privilege As One Of Those Guys Who Couldn’t Live Up To His Pedigree As A First Round Pick But Shows Often Why He Garner That Selection To Begin. The Giant's Pass Rush Gave Some trouble early, But The G Men DidnT Have The Secondary For The Task. Darnold Will Face A Tougher Time With This Niners’s defender. I Don’t Think San Fransisco Will Have The Same Success Bracket Justin Jefferson as They Did Garrett Wilson, We’re Talking About Two Different Beast. “Respectfully, I’m Not Garrett Wilson.” Jefferson Said And Jefferson Couldn’t Be More Correct. The Giants And The Niners Produced The Same Amount Of Pressures Last Week(11), But New York Generally Has The Better Talent Along The Defensive Line.

Jefferson Proved Just that, Picking A 97 97-yard catch And Run The Longest Touchdown Of The Season To Put The Vikings Up 10-0 Over The Niners In The Second and Hold On To Pick Up A Magnificent 23-17 Over The Niners. The Vikings' Defense Really Took This One To Brock Purdy. Despite a solid stat line, the Niners' quarterback couldn’t make good on the Plenty of Opportunities. Purdy Racked Up.

Dolphins Vs. Bills

In Sports Lore, all great players usually face and must overcome their dragon and their goliath, and they must exercise the Demon Of One Foe, Who StandS As a Towering Force Between Them and The Goal Of Greatness and A Championship. Micheal Jordan Had The Pistons, Peyton Manning Had The Patriots,  and LeBron James Had the Previously Unleashed Model of A Super Team The Celtics Created For Him. The Mike McDaniels-Tua Tagovailoa Dolphins Have The Buffalo Bills. At Their Best, This Dolphins Team has rewritten The Already Rewritten(Thanks To The Chiefs) Scales Of What’s Accomplishable Offensively. Somehow All Of The Dolphins’s Statistical Marvel Can’t Compete With Their Kryptonite The Buffalo Bills Even In An Unstable Year For The Bills.

Josh Allen And The Bills Hurdled Their First Challenge Of The Year As A New Team Coming Back From Double Figures To Defeat The Cardinals. Thursday Night’s Game Versus the Dolphins Means A Lot for Both Teams. The Dolphins have come up short in both of the last two months to knock the Bills off the top of the perch in the division. Miami Had Command For Much Of The Season Before Buffalo gained footing And Took  Their late-season momentum Into the Number Two Seed Of The Playoffs. Buffalo has to prove themselves again, prove that they're still the divisional top dog and that the hotshot dolphins still have to ride their wave.

Without the same names on the Bills' defense, especially in the secondary, the Bills still managed to produce the same results, and there was an early interception on the Dolphins' first drive. Josh Allen And The Bills' Offense Waste No Time Converting The Turnover Into  A score. A Brief Forty Down Intermission Slowed  The Bills Down Before Josh Allen Connected With Running Back James Cook On 4 & 3 Capping A Six Play 47 Yard Drive With a 17 Yard Catch And Run. Well within Field Goal range, The Initial Didn’t Indicate The Bills Would Go For The Conversion. However, Calling Timeout, Buffalo Made Their Intent Clear To Go For More Than A Hard Count. Tua’s Interception That Lead To The Score Came Off A Pass That Deflected Off Of A Defender's Hands And Ended In Another Buffalo Corner Backs Grasp. Miami, However, Would Bounce Back. Dolphins Running Back Devon Achane, Who  Lead The League In Yards Per Rush Last Season, Battled Injury Question All Week On a Short Break From Sunday But Came out Strong. Multiple Strong Runs Of Five Yards Over Better, Converting First Down, And The Dolphins Proved They Too Can Use They're Running Back in the Catching Game. Before The End Of The First Quarter, The Dolphins tied The Game 7-7. The Dolphins’s Rushing Offense Carrying The Team The Dolphins Passing Attack And Tua Would Prove A Little Inconsistent On The Dolphins Next Drive After And Bills Punt, Tua Would Sail A Ball Over  The Head Of Receiver Alex Ingold And Into The Hands Of another Bills’s Defender. Tua Threw A couple Of Errant Passes Deep; ironically, His First Pick Came As A Result Of Good Coverage, But The Best Deep Passer In Football Didn’t Have His Best Early In This Game. Another Dolphins Star Who Didn’t Have His Best is Jalen Ramsey. Ramsey Signed A New Deal To Make the 30-Year-Old The Highest Paid Cornerback In Football, Adding another Ledger to the List Of Questionable Defensive  Contracts For The Dolphins. Ramsey, The Bills Missed A Tackle Against James Cook Dead To Right In The Back Field, And The Bills Would Score A Field Goal On That Drive. Ramsey Would Also Find Himself The Target Of Josh Allen’s Biggest Play Of The Half. On A Rollout To His Right On 3rd And 12 Allen Would Complete A Pass Of More Than 33 To Ty Johnson To Put The Bills At The Foot Of Miami’s End Zone With Ramsey Close In Coverage. James Cooks Would Punch In a Short Touchdown And Put The Bills Up 17-7. Buffalo Would Start To Runaway Before The Dolphins  Could Regain Their Barring. James Cooks would score his second touchdown in this, rushing for 49 yards and 42 over expected, and put the Bills 24-10 by halftime. The Dolphins Have Made Some Awe Inspiring Comebacks In The Mike McDaniels Era, including Last week VERSUS the Jaguars, But After Tua’s Third Interception On His Second Pass in the Third Quarter, Bills Corner-backer Ja’Marcus Ingram Return the Ball For A Touchdown For 31 Yards To Put Buffalo Up 31-10. The Dolphins Would Suffer More Losses In The Form Of Tua Hitting His Head On The Turf And Suffering A Head Injury Before He Left The Game In the Third Quarter. Tua Finished His Outing Against The Bills 17/25 with 145 Passing Yards, one Touchdown, and Three Interceptions.

Neither Team Would Score Again, And The Bills Would Swoop Into Miami And Reassert Their Dominance Over The Division. The Bills won this game for Buffalo more than Josh Allen, and Sean McDermott continues to prove that he’s a coach worthy of the highest respect in the game. Reports Confirm That Tua Suffered A Concussion And Not To Make Jokes About Head Injuries But His First Head Contusion Started With Figuring Out The Bills’s Secondary. According to Next Gen Stats, the Bills played drop zones 84% of Tua Drop Backs, forcing adjusted throws out of a quarterback who preferred to play more “bombs away”  in downfield attacks. Tua’s Accuracy Has Never Fell Into Question(Even Though I Think It Should), But This Game Exposed The Limits Of His Arm when Tyreek Or Waddle Don’t Break Open Down. The Bills Drop Zone Left Sinking Shot Pass Where The Ball Can't Fly Freely But Has To Dip Down Upon Arrival To The Receiver. Tua’s Passes Sailed Almost All Game, and The Dolphins Paid The Price On Offense.  Devin Achane Performed His Best To Carry The Dolphins’s Offense 22Carries, 96 Rushing Yards, 4 Explosive Runs Of 10+ yards. Achane Also Added 69 Yards, Receiving 66 After The Catch, Going 7/7 for A Total Of 165 Yards Of Offense.  The Bills Defense Resigned to Live With Achane Cutting Through Their Light Boxes. Analysts, Writers, and Fans Will Leap To Write Tua Off With Every Escape-artist,Lackluster Performance He Produces. Tua Earns The   Consternation of those Who Believe He Can’t Win When the Games Matter, And Losing where he Skill Has A Passer Proved Inept Only  Prove He’s Closer To The Player We Saw In The Brian Flores Era Rather Than  An Extension of Mike McDaniels’ Brain and Tyreek Hill And Jaylen Waddle—Tua’s Upside Rest  Somewhere In The Middle. Tua Should Miss A Few Weeks With a Concussion, And Maybe He

Switches To A Guardian Cap. The Cushion Add-On Some Players Have Opted To Wear won't Prevent Things Like Whip Lash and Needed Stability Around The Neck.

Josh Allen Produced Another Quiet Great Game As The Unquestioned Star for The Bills. The Offense Didn’t Need Much, But 13/19 For 139, One Touchdown, and A Passer Rating of 107.1. James Cook had 11 Carries For 78 Yards On The Ground. The Bills Move To 2-0.

Bears Vs. Texans

Caleb’s Rude Awakening To The NFL Continues As Bears Offense Suffers Another Tough As The Texans Emerge Victorious.

Bears Quarterback Caleb Williams Produced Quite The Inauspicious Start To His Career. Sure, The Bears’ Defense Delivered The Win, But Williams Couldn’t Complete More Than One Pass Beyond Ten Yards, And One Week One Performance Doesn’t Define A Career Caleb Gave Everyone Watching A First Glimpse Of Life. Approve PAC-12 For A Number One Pick. The NFL Hands Players No Days Off, No Plays Off, You Bring Your Best Game All The Time, And Even The Lower-Ranked Teams Get Paid To Perform and Put Pride In All Of Their Performances. Last Season, CJ Stroud Didn’t Produce Too Many Caleb Williams Like Duds, And That surprised Most Of Football In a Contrarian Way To Caleb. Last season’s Number Two Pick, Stroud, Didn’t enter The League With Hype Anywhere Close To Williams Or Last season’s Number One Pick, Bryce Young, But Stroud Approved and demonstrated The Easiest Transition So Far. The Bears face a different challenge with Stroud, and Williams will face not only the challenge of the Texan's defense and secondary looking to rebound but also the challenge of keeping in step with Houston’s offense. Caleb Just Completed Only His Second As a Pro When. How Many More In front of Him For Him To Showcase Improvement? However, He's exhibited a lot of The “Aversive” Tendencies Showed By The Benched Bryce Young. He’s An Undersized 6’1 So Passing From The Pocket will  Work Against More Time Than  Work For Him. He’s Not The Shifty Athlete We Saw At USC, At Least Compared To NFL Standards, And The Texans Blitz Gives Caleb All The Pressure He Could Handle. According To Next Gen Stats, The Texans Pass Rush produces nine Players With Two Or More Pressures And A Total of Seven Sacks. When Caleb Manage To Escape Pressure, He Found The Texan's secondary And Linebackers Equally As Unwelcoming. The Texans’s Secondary Would Pick Caleb Off Twice In A Rebound Game For The Cast Of Derek Stingley Jr. and Kamari Lassiter. The Texans Also Demonstrated That Caleb Would Not Find The Easier Matchup To Exploit. Caleb’s Best Play Often Came As  A Result Of Getting The Ball To His Skill Players Downfield.  Williams also Led The Bears in Rushing with  5 Most Scrambles for 44 Yards on 8.8 Yards A Carry, but he took some big hits on his way out of bounds and reportedly left the game Dinged Up. Williams Got Over 100 Yards Passing For 174 For 23/37 and A Passer Rating of 51.0, But The Bears Still Struggled, Often Barely Getting Past the Field and Only Averaged 3.1 Per Play. The Bears' Defense Actually Performed Up To Par Against This Texans Offense. The Texans only score three points after the half, coming early in the fourth quarter. Another point is that the Texans gained 89 yards in offense after the break. The Texans Nico Collins Proved He’s More Than A One Hit Wonder He’s The Real Deal Wide Receiver 8 Catches For 135 Receiving Yards And One Touchdown. Collins, He’s The Real Deal For The Texans. The Bears’s Defense Only Forced One Turnover But Couldn’t Caleb To His Second Win.

Falcons Vs. Eagles

The Atlanta Pull Off The Most Improbable Win Outside Of The Baltimore Game Picking Up a Late Victory Over The Eagles In The Battle Of Birds 22-21. Not only did Atlanta defeat the odds of facing a 21-16 deficit with under two minutes on the clock, but Kirk Cousins Exercised His Monday Night Football Demons, Picking Just His Third Win In His Career On The Prime Time Format. On the final drive for Atlanta, Cousins would complete 5/6 passes for 70 yards, two big strikes to Darnell Mooney, and 26 and 21 yards that would set up a 7-yard touchdown to Drake London. Two themes From Week One Converge the Eagles Whiles Still Vulnerable Could Play Well To Keep Opponents in Check For Stretches Last Week, Kirk Cousins Struggled When Forced To Engage His Second Read. The Eagles' defense hauled the Falcons from Converting a Fourth Down Run by Brian Robinson Midway through The Fourth That Looked To Shut The Door On Atlanta. The Eagles’ Offense Would Make A Run at The End Zone, But Atlanta Would Force A Field Goal. The Eagles Ate Up 3:59 Of the Game Clock and The Rest Of Atlanta’s Timeout But Only Grab Three, Forcing Atlanta To Score At least A touchdown.  The Eagles defense couldn’t break Kirk off of his read, which meant that Kirk, for the most part, could just load up and unleash on his Locked-in Target like Mooney Downfield. The Eagles Produced A Strong Game On The Ground, with 186 Rushing Yards Total, 22 Carries  For 95 Rushing Yards For Saquon Barkley, and 13 Carries for 85 For Hurts On Mostly Scrambles. Bijan Robinson put forth a strong game overall offensive on 18 touches, and Robinson amassed 122 yards of offense. Darnell Mooney leads the team in receiving three catheters for 88 yards, all of which he generates through big air-yard strikes downfield. Cousins Produced A Great Comeback Game on 20/29, with 241 Passing Yards, two Touchdowns, and A passer Rating of 117.2.  Credit Atlanta’s Defense For Couple Pass Breakups That Could’ve Resulted In Scores. On 3rd And three early In The Third Quarter, With The Eagles Inside The Falcon’s Red Zone, Jessie Bates Breaks Up A Pass Between Hurts And Devonta Smith, Forcing The Eagles To Settle For A Field Goal, Losing Out On A Four Point Difference. Jessie Bates Would Also Capture The Game Sealing Interception. Despite Saquon’s Big Game, he dropped a crucial pass as the Eagles drove late with intentions to ice this game. The Drop From Saquon Not Only Cost The Eagles A Potential Touchdown Or First Down Conversion But Stop The Clock For The Falcons. The Eagles’ Defense Remains A Concern, However, Has Kirk Managed To Puncture His Way Through He Backend Far Too Easily On That Final Drive?

Browns Vs. Jaguars

After A Week Under Constant  Barrage and Scrutiny After Falling Apart Against The Cowboys, Deshaun Watson And Brown Rebound  With an Improved Performance To Drop The Jaguars To 0-2, 18-13 Score. Trevor Lawrence Performed Good Enough To Win In This Game, and The Jags Franchise Has Shown Solid Report With Rookie Receiver Brian Thomas Jr.  Thomas Picked Up A Big 66 Yard Play Over The Top Of This Vaunted Browns’ Secondary  Which set Up A Jaguars Touchdown On A Travis Ettiene Run.

The Jags Couldn’t Capitalize On This Momentum. The Offense Of The Jags Settled For A Field Goal After A long 13 Play Drive Stalled, and A Touchdown Gets Taken Off The Board Due To Penalty. The Browns' offense didn’t look Revived By Any Means, just 4.3 yards per play; the Browns also produced a drive of 12 plays for 29 yards that punted. An Early Rushing Touchdown From Watson Put The Browns Up Early, And The Cleveland Defense Help Take The Game Home.  Lawrence Didn’t Complete 50% Of His Passes, Going 14/30 For 220, And Without His Splash Plays, His Stats Don’t Look Overtly Impressive Because More Than Half Of His Yards Came On Just Three Plays. Lawrence Took 4 Sacks To One To Myles Garrett. The Browns still don’t have much threat as far as offensive capacity concerns are concerned. These Two Teams Needed a Rebound Game, and  The Brown Made Away With The Win.
