The NFC Mountaintop: No Place For Cold Offense.

Sigh! Heavy Day.

Over The Horizon. Across The Skies. Down The Hill and Atop of  The Mountains.

Much of The World Still Awaits The First Twinkle Of Snow To Fall On The Holiday Season.

This Winter Has Been “Unseasonably warm And Dry”. It's Climate Change. Im Sure YOu Have Heard.

Much Of The Mountain West And states Like Colorado Have Lost Heavy Portions of Snow Packs. The Crystalline Layers That Adorn The Cool Core Of Aspen In Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, Are Stripe Of Their Prestige. The Lost Of Snow, An Inoucous, Sometimes Perceived Superficial Feature Of The Holiday, Could Prove Fatal To the Environment. Possibly producing Cataclysmic scenarios. Besides The Lost Of Your Seasonal Snow Angel And Your Ever Jolly Snowman AN d The Dreaded Sleek Driveway, Snow Has Other Advantages. Regulate Environmental Status Quo.

Other Places Climate Changes Are Drastically Impacting. Arizona. Baltimore and Florida Some. Where The Snow And Cold haven't Closed In On Some It's Impacting The Movements In Unregulated Environments.

Of course, I'm Not Referring To green House Gases Denigrating Climate Change. I'm Referring To NFL Playoff Climate Change.

In Colorado, Temperature Has Reached heights That Fake Snow Couldn't Sustain "Life" Long Enough To Justify Mass Production. Ski Resorts are Cold, And This May come To Happen With Greater Frequency As More The Decades Continue To fold Over One Another.

In Arizona, Kyler Murray Has Struggled To Produced Offense In The Pocket. Without De'Andre Hopkins, The Snow Has Come Down On Arizona Ahead Of  The Playoffs. The Bucs Felt The Chill Of The Saints Defense. But Things Have Gotten Even Colder Since The Scoreless Outings. The Ravens Are Dealing With The Extremes Of The New Playoff Environments.

This, The NFL In Week 15:

In A Possible Lose-Lose Situation, The Ravens Choose To Save Time And Hopefully Win Later.  Deferring  A Potential Playoff Spot To Another Week With Perhaps. Another Quarterback Under Center. Former MVP Quarterback Lamar Jackson Missed The Sunday's Game With An Ankle. The First Game He Has Missed Due To Injury. No Worries. Backup Tyler Huntley Has Proven Most Worthy To carry The Mantle And Put On His Best Lamar Jackson Impersonation Or At least His Best Randall Cunningham. Huntley Took A Slowly coming down To earth Packers Defense To For four touchdowns And Hanging 30 Points On The Leagues 4th Rank Defense, That Has Giving Up 30 Points Twice Since Week 1. The Packers Defense Saved The Game In The End. Stopping a last-second two-point conversion attempt to Win In Regulation Over the Baltimore Ravens 31-30. The Raven's Offense Came Back Form Down Two Score With Under Nine Minutes To Go In The fourth. But A Bad read On The Final Play Spelled An End To The Comeback bid.

The Raven's Defense Didn't Save Much. Aaron Rodgers Had His Way Most of The Game. Moving The Ball At will. He Finished throwing for 268 yards and three touchdowns on 23-of-31 passing and working The Short To Immediate Game At Will. He was dicing The Ravens Linebacker Alone For Nearly Half His Passing Yardage( 120 yards and a touchdown).

The Ravens Defense generates Some Pressure. Rodgers Got Sacked Three Times In The Game. The Offensive Line, riddled With injuries, is Still Piecing itself Together. But Rodgers Still Had 2.74. Sec To Throw On Average With No Scrambles. A few of Rodgers's Incompletion Were Errant Passes. The Pressure found Home To Huntley. The Packer's defensive front Surged Through for 18 pressures and One sack. Huntley Needed A More Than Impressive Performance To Stay Pace With Rodgers. Huntley Split His Touchdowns Through The Air And Ground, 2 Each. First Quarterback In Ravens History With A Stat Line As Such. On Top Of 215 yards on 28-of-40 passing And 73 yards on Eight Scrambles And A few designed Runs. On Any Given Sunday, It Doesn't Matter Much Whose Under Center For The Ravens. Suppose They Target Marks Andrews, Things Tend To work Out Well. Andrews Finished With 10 Catches And A Game High 136 Yards, 63 Yards After Contact, 6.3 Yards Per Reception, Accounted for 10 First Down and A 153.3 Passer Rating When Targeted. Valleys Beyond Anyone On The team. Andrews Has 9.75 Passer Rating When Targeted  Second Best Amongst Tight End With At least 80% Snaps Played.

Further More Andrew Now Holds 1st Or 2nd Place In Every Major Receiving Statistical Category In The League. Marquise Brown Had A Mostly Forgettable. But He Ran Wide Open In The Back of The Endzone On The Final play. It Maybe My Assessment Alone, But Raven's Quarterbacks Have Never Shown A Growing Acuity for Looking Outside Their First Read.

The Win Move The Pack To 11-3 And Sole Position of The Best Record In The league. Davante Adams Had A "Pedestrian" Game, Just 44 Yards On 7 Targets.  But The Pack Have The Second Strongest Chance At The Superbowl.

The Lost Now Moves The Ravens Out Of A Wild Card Spot For The Moment. Pending A Brown's Finish. On The Raven's Opening Drive, The Team Moved The Into Scoring Position On The Tails Of A Mark Andrews Catch And Run. After Three Failed Attempts To score, The Ravens Went for It On Fourth down. The Unfavorable Decision But The Most Propitious Supported By Math. They Fail. On The Final Play Of The Game With A Chane To Tied And Push The Game into OT, The Ravens, Supported By Math, Failed.

Profootballfocus Discusses The Nuance Of The 2 Point conversion Here.

It's a Matter Of Prescience Where The More You Attempt, The Greater Probability The Outcome Will favor The Aggressor.

Sunday They Ravens Choose All or Nothing With A 39% Percent Chance To Win The Division. "Nothing" has Become A Growing Possibility.  The Ravens Will Have To Continue being Bold To Move The Needle Tied 8-6 with The Bengals.

Tampa Played an Ugly Mess Of A Game On Sunday, And How That Wasn't The Worse of It Only Underscores The Dreary Overcast Trailing The Champs After A Home Loss.

Coming In With four Straight Wins. A Chance To Win The Division. Continue To Play For A Bye.  Undo The Curse Tampa And Brady Have Had against The Saints In The Regular season. The Number One Offense. Lead By The Presumed MVP Scored Zero Points. Finished With a Roster Diminish In Dominance And talent. And A Quandary Of Projections.

In Brady's First Matchup With The Saints This Season, He Through Two Uncharacteristic Interceptions. One Interception,  Silenced His Team's Momentum Another.  That Ended A Game And Awoken A Crowd.

In The First Quarter, He Narrowly Threw Another. The Pick Would have Been A Twisted of Fate. Silencing a Crowd And Awakening  The Saint's Momentum. MarShon Lattimore Dropped It. You Kind of Got The feeling That Would Be A Turning Point. Brady Would Come to life. Pick His Spots And Bring Home A Win. Nah! Brady Would Eventually Throw A Pick, But With less Than 4 Minute To Go Down Two Scores, The Interception Only Underscore a Hapless Afternoon Of football.

"We're not going to win, scoring no points." Brady Said. That's Beyond Obvious. Try, We Are Not Going To Win Scoring less Than 20. Something The Bucs average More Than Thirty Point A Game Have Done Once. Try We're Not Going to win going 6/19 On Third down. We're Not Going To Win with Seven Points And One Missed Feld Goal. Try…

In All, It Wasn't A Terrible Game For The Bucs. Who Out Gained An Anemic Saints Offense  On The Ground And Through The Air. Three Field Goals Being The Difference. An Ugly Game On Both Sides. Brady completed just twenty-six of his 48 pass attempts, 214 yards, and interceptions. The Rushing Game Gave Little Reprieve. Ronald Jones Step In for An Injured Leonard Fournette. He Got 63, A Long 30 But Remain Mostly Ineffective against The Saints Front. The Bucs Usually Stout Line Got Thrashed. The Buc's Defense, Not So Much Impressive As Scapegoated By A Predicably Woeful Saints Offense.

The Saints Won. They  Stay Alive for The Playoffs At 7-7. As It Stands, They Are In with Three Games To Play. A two Game Streak Absolves a five-game losing streak That Once Seemingly Expunged their postseason chances. In A Hapless Season Of their Own. Down To Their Third Quarterback And With Long Time Coach Sean Payton Due To Covid, The Saints Proved That Winning Ugly Can Be More Than Cosmetic.

What's Worse for The Bucs. Where To Start. The Loss Pushes Tampa Backwards Into The Third Spot And A virtually Tied With The Cowboy And Cards.

Eventually, The Will be  Upended. The Bucs can Run The Table To end The Season With A Better Conference And Division Record Than. For Now, The Lose Gives the Cowboys Home Field Should The Two Matchup In The Divisional Round.

With The Bye Largely Out Of The Question, The Bucks Are Now Playing For Position. Perhaps Avoiding The Saints Again in The First Round. Not out Of Fear, But why Risk Playing A Familiar, Aggressive Team That Have Nothing To Play For Or Earned But The Title Of Spoiler.

The Last Time I Remembered A number Offense Getting bludgeoned In In Big Game. Superbowl 48

The Injury News for  Buccaneers: WRs Chris Godwin (knee) is Officially Out for The Season With A ACL Tear. Mike Evans (hamstring) left in the second quarter. To be Reevaluated But He Should be Ready for The Playoff.  Godwin Took Low, brutal hit Around The Knee. A Legal Hit, As Noted By Coach Bruce Arians but A tough Blow Never The Less. RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) departed in the third quarter. It should Be Ok, But All Tough Blows to Lose So Late In The Season.

The Godwin Injury Strikes Has The Most Pivotal For Both the Player And Team. Brady Had Virtual No Success Beyond 10 Yards Just 6 Completions for a 36.3 Rating. Over The Past Two Games, Brady Had Targeted Godwin 32 for 25 completions. Godwin Went Over A thousand yards in 15 Games. In A Contract Year, That Injury Have Just ended Godwin Career With The Bucs.

The Bucs will Welcome Back Antonio Brown After A Three-Game Suspension. With The Jets, Panthers Twice On The remaining Schedule.

The Lions Prove, There Can Always Be Something To Play.

This Season There Have been A lot Of Bad Teams being Bad And A lot Of Less Than Good, More Than Bad Teams, Falling Short, And Good Team Being Bad Whenever The Moment calls.  Somewhere In This Nebula Of Nuance, the Is The Lions. The Lions were Stripe Bear In The Free Agency. NFL Team Don't Outright engineer "Tanking." The Success Of NFL Draft Picks Are Harder To Correlate Into League success Than In Most Any Other League. Not To Mention Injuries Have Proven To Derail Even The Brightest Of Youngest Of Stars. In The NFL On Young Talent Would Be Like Rolling Dice In A Dark Alley. The Best Results Are Unsure And Can Be Undone By What Happens Next. NFL Teams Don't Tank. They Get Tanked. They  Get Plundered Until he Ship Sinks. This May Not Be The Prevailing Theory, But when Detroit Enter 2022, This Would Be One Those Seasons for A Franchise That Had One Of that Existence

But You Couldn't Tell Early In The Season. There Were A Few Weeks The Lions Looked Competitive. Five of Their Eight Games Were Decided By One Score, Some By Field Goals. Then They Got Blasted By the Eagles and Whatever Semblance of Competitive Will The Lions Mustered Week To Week, They Left Dormant, And Now Appeared dashed Away.  When The Product On The Field And The Results In The Box Made You Wonder; Perhaps,  There May Be  Potential For  An Alternative Narrative For A Lion's Team Searching For A New Franchise QB. A Struggling First Round Pick And A Newly Acquired Quarterback With a Less Than Stellar Track Record Quarterback, Sometimes Visibly Despondent At the Turn of His Career Has Taken Since Entering The League Number 1. The Lions Are A Team Restlessly Devoid Of Talent, Near the Bottom of The League In Offense, An Defense. Detroit excels Where Few Bad Teams do. They take Care of The Ball. There are only 10 Interceptions and Nine  Lost Fumbles On The Season, And They Play Hard.

"They were hungrier than us," Murray said. "They played harder than us." By Sunday's End One, The NFC's Lower Hanging Fruit Got Cut Hard. When The Score Became Unchanging. The Lions Scored 30, Nearly Twice Their Season Average. The  Cards Finished With 12. The Lion Posted Shutout In The First Half And Had The Game Virtually Warped Up By The Mid Third Quarter With The Cards Down Two Scores. The Cards Finished With Nearly 400 Yards Of Offense. Kyler Murray Could Have thrown Those 41 passing Attempts  Into An open Void. Murray's First And only touchdown pass Of The Game Came With  4:40 left in the game, and Arizona Lagging Behind 15 points.

The Lion's winning A Game The Were Some Two Touch Underdog Neve  So Much Surprised Me. That Shock Factor. Those Chills up The Spin Never quite Came Home. The Cardinals Were A Team Flying Low Heading Into The Playoffs. After Finishing Week 7 As The Lone Undefeated at,  7-0.  The Cardinals have lost four of their past seven games.

The Vikings Win struck Home With  More  Surprise. The Vikes Had More To Lose. More On The Line.

The Cards Will Make The Playoffs, But The Team Remains Less Convincing Than They Were A Week Ago When They Had Been Less Convincing Since Week 7.  Sunday’s Game  Against Indy.  Once Thought of –maybe Two Weeks Ago--As A “Nail In The Coffin” Game For The Colts.  It could Be A Reverse Of Luck for A Slumping Cardinals Taking On A Surging Colts Team Fresh Off Of A Strong showing Against An AFC Foe.

Jared Goff finished 21-26 And Three Touchdowns, Tied For His Season High, And A Passer Rating Of 139.7 The Highest Rating In A Game Since Week 2 Of Last Season. Rookie Receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown Has to Emerge As An Offensive Building Alongside Offensive Lineman Penei Sewell, Who Has Slowly Turned His Hapless Season Around. Brown finished With Eight catches for 90 Yards. Sewell Had A Mediocre Game. He's Turned His Season He's Only Allowed 4 Pressure In His Last 3 Games After Giving Up 28 In His First 12.

Several Teams Are Petitioning  For The Award For Best Of The Worse. Both The Dolphins, Washington, And Falcons Hold Claims To Some Aspect Of the Tribute. As Team Hovering Over The Playoff, They Also Have Stronger Arguments. But Each of Those Teams Have Peck off Teams Of Equal Or Lower Stature To Themselves. The Lions Have Cut Down Playoff Contenders In The Heat Of The Saharan Playoff Climate.
